"Get your hand off me Arjun" the woman shouted
Turning she ran up the stairs

Peering through the window she watched Raman
Her eyes filling with tears

She reached down to the turned down photo
A picture of Raman and her

"I knew you would find me" she whispered



Raman sat in the car thinking
He had been here for an hour

The man had already left, he wasnt sure what to do.
Getting out he decided to go back to the house

"Hello" he shouted
Ishita pulled the door open
Raman stepped into her house, slamming the door

"Ishita "
"Did you find her" she asked timidly
Raman nodded, grabbing her arm he spun her around so her back hit his chest

Pushing her hair onto her shoulder he pointed to a freckle on her neck
"Tell me this isnt a coincidence"
"I dont know what youre talking about "

Raman pushed her into the wall so she was facing him
"Dont lie to me madrasan"

Ishita shook her head "I have no idea who you are"
Raman couldnt take it anymore, pressing her lips to hers, he wasnt sure if it was her tears or his own he could taste

With a muffled sob, she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him closer

Raman shook himself out of his day dream
Again, he was wasting time by focusing on what he wants to happen

Taking a deep breath he knocked on the door
Ishita pulled it open

Her heart stopped in her chest
Raman stood right infront of her, so close yet so far away
She wanted nothing more than to hold him, be with him

But she couldnt
"I um, well I dont know how to word this but my name is Raman Bhalla, 2 and a half years ago I lost my wife, and you resemble her, so very much "

Pausing he looked away
Worried his emotions would get the better of him
He looked back "The world is a funny place, it gives and then it takes away, and I cant assume you are my wife, you could be anyone but I believe that theres a reason im here , so what is your name"

"Damini, I live here with Arjun, my husband"
Raman nodded
Dropping his phone

He watched as she lowered herself to pick it up
The picture looking back at her of him and Ishita

Placing the phone back in his hand, it was like for that small moment
He was home
She pulled her hand back as if it had been burnt

"Damini, thank you for just letting me look at you, it has given me peace"
Raman tapped his foot

This was the most riskiest thing he had ever done
But he had to know
"Im going to go join my wife now"

Ishita's face paled "What, what do you mean"
"Im going to die"

Turning on his heel he walked away
Ishita felt a tear fall down her cheek
Running after him as fast as she could

She finally got to the top of the building
"Raman please dont do this, your wife wouldnt want this"

Raman ignored her
"Please just come down, we can talk about this"
"No, I want to be with my wife"

Raman lifted one foot
"God damn it, I am your wife, your Ishita"
Raman paused
"Prove it"

"Get down and I will"
"No, now or I jump"

"Im your madrasan, please just, just"
Her voice broke as she sobbed
Closing her eyes, she was to scared to look

Warm hands grabbed her shoulders
Her eyes opened looking into his
"Ishita, my Ishita"

Suddenly her face was in his hands
He pressed kisses all over her face
Then pulled her to him, crushing her in his arms

"I thought you were dead, you dont know what life has been without you"
He felt a heavy weight in his arms

Looking down, Ishita had passed out in his arms

To clarify, Raman's hug with Ishita in chapter 5 was his imagination

raman was searching for ishita but didn't got any clue he thought it was just his misunderstanding he got the call from investigator who said he got to know where is ishita he sanded the address to raman who got excited thinking his ishita is alive he went to that address he knocked the door a man opened the door raman was confused he asked if ishita stay there a lady came asking who is there raman saw it was ishita that lady said she is not ishita that man kept his hand on ishitas waist and closes the door on ramans face ishita pushed his hand who is that man arjun she looked raman from window she was crying raman saw that man goign out of the house and decided to go in he knocked the door ishita opened the door raman said his wife used to look same like her ishita was pretending she don't know him she said hope he will get his wife back soon raman said he is going to join his wife who is no more ishita got scared raman went to terrace ishita ran behind him and asked him to stop she said she is his wife raman asked her to prove she said she is his madrasan raman hugged her she fainted why ishita was staying away from raman pls clear the suspense

Hey, right so Arjun is who Ishita is staying with

Hes fallen for her, she has not fallen for him

She has left the family for a reason I cant reveal yet

And why she fainted will be revealed in the next 1-2 chapters!

Ishita had now woken up
She sat infront of Raman, drinking water

"Im dying, thats why I left, I didnt want my family to see me go through it"
Raman stood up

"No, that cant be right, there must be something we can do, ive just got you back, I can't lose you"

Ishita looked away "Im sorry Raman, go back to your life, pretend this never happened"
Raman couldnt control his anger

Grabbing her arms he pulled her up
"You think its that easy, to go back knowing youre going to die, to pretend youre already dead, to hide from the family that youre alive"

Arjun looked around the house "Ishita"
When he heard no reply

He took the tablets out of his bag
Mixing them into the food he ordered he smiled

He looked down at an old article about him
'Doctor Arjun Mehta fired for making multiple people think they have an illness they dont'

He looked at the picture of Ishita and Raman on the side
"Youll never get her back Raman, she will be mine forever"

Ishita looked up at Raman
Tears dripping down her face
"What do you want from me Raman, theres nothing that can be done"

"You cant just give up, we can go see a doctor"
She shook her head "Arjun, the man I live with is my doctor"

"Well we can see another, as many as needed until one of them can tell me that you can be saved"
Ishita wanted to say no

She was tired of fighting it
But she also wanted to believe Raman could be right

She wanted another chance at life
She wanted to try again
"Okay" she whispered

Raman pulled her to him, hugging hee tightly
"We can save you Ishita"
