Thank you for the PM Di... For the first time I came across this work and read all the parts at once... A breezy read through so far... Though you took the premise of Ishita's disability track her from the show , you have clearly improvised and improved it in your story... Coming to the story , the character which stood out for me is Raman... The sufferings of Ishita are unbearable and Toshiji is getting on my nerves...

The poor lady, Ishita , who due to no fault of hers is facing the wrath of her hostile MIL... Ishita is shattered, as expected and guilt ridden owing to the fact that Ishra cannot beget children... The only solace is Raman, who is leaving no stone unturned to make her understand that she is what he needs and not the children...

Raman is caught up between his mother and his wife... The former who is lost in the world of Ghar ki Chirag while the latter webbed in the guit of her disability... The way Raman stood for Ishita is what a real man does... Yes he is a MAN... full of character, grit and fidelity... He stood as a wall behind his partner at her trough... The line in chapter 6 " the baby whose existence is nowhere has become more important than me sums up what Raman is in short..

The most disgusting character for me is Toshiji... I could understand her frustration of not getting a heir from her bahu but repeatedly harassing her with barbs and hurling abuses at Ishita does put me off... We all know the adage " A woman's enemy is another woman " and she is a perfect example... I really don't think she has accepted Ishita as her bahu and she is contriving something for sure...

I sincerely REQUEST you not to make Toshiji taunt Ishita as STERILE often and mouth the FILTHY "B word...
A woman deserves respect no matter whether she can conceive or not...
