If correction has not been made or is not possible( in real life it will be really difficult and may not possible to change mother's name in birth certificate after so many years) then shagun is still pihu's biological mother as per record...but i am expecting at least the custody might have been changed and has been given to ishra although nothing such is ever shwon or mentioned clearly in this show...But even with all these simmi would require raman and or shagun's permission to take any decision regarding pihu...it is surprising that the school authority didn't feel the need to inform the biological parent or the legal guardian of pihu...simmi has no right unless she has document of pihu's parents consent...imo

Simmi is just a bua and married to someone already...she has no right on her brother's children and school authority need to discuss these problems with pihu's parents...raman might be suffering from memory loss but not others
