Whats the new concept of the show??

Hi guys! I was wondering what happened to the show and the characters? DId they forget each other? whats up with ashok? Did he turned positive? and whats up with simmi? I havent watch the show for a while and now im so confused. Can someone please explain to me what happened? Thank you!

Simmi has become IshRa's enemy cos well Pihu pushed Ananya to her death and Ishita took the blame; got sentenced to jail.
Ashok got Ishita's case reopened cos he wanted to redeem himself (he has gall bladder cancer)
