Poetic lisence allows me to imagine their locale though of their iteinery I have no clue
And beyond my love to dip my nib in ink And pen this paper with my writings I have no other motive or will
Now folks do you know if not
Let me tell you and keep you in tow
The other day there happened one of its Kind
In no other place than the famous park of Hyde
Free speech and thinking so much in keeping
With the democratically West was indeed at its very best
A crowd of the best of the species collected there to hear
Her speech - full of compassion and concern it did seem
Teresa May , Her Ears pricked up and she thought it would be
A good vote bank to catch and thus give her dwindled numbers hope
This torch of hope was carried by none other than a member
Of the earstwhile jewel of the crown who had accompanied her dear
On a shoot abroad after the ritual of saying goodbye by 'Ma and Pa "
To their "adorable" pre to embarking on a long journey of sorts
As hubby was busy shooting with his famous co star she was
At the corner of Hyde Park associating and holding fort amongst
The British canine aristocracy and the commoners too and doing
That which she does the best for her love for this loyal tribe
Is well known and time again she flaunts it with justified pride
Well that was not the only thing that happened I assure
There was another too who has the distinction of basking
In the glory of the rising sun wherever he goes
And though the sun has set on the British Empire
And the Trees have shed their Automn leaves and
Are braced to meet the winds and cold of winter and
Of the Unpredictable English weather this gentleman
Of no small means is so skilled , can despite,
Find it and climb on to it or Bask under its glaring lights
Sun bathe in its sunshine and relax and appear splendid
And fit to consort Royalty let alone mere Success personified
Like in a treasure hunt can track the signs and like
A practiced sleuth can stalk the right clues
And like Hansel and Gretel follow the crumbs
And blaze the trail and follow its tail and
And lie in this sunny patch which sheds renown and
Popularity and recognition all the way and everywhere
And this sun never sets or rises but remains constantly in
The sky for it is fuelled by the unstinting hard work and talent
And perseverence and physical endurance of a human engine
Which never gives up or loses sight of the goal whatever may be
Its Price and tole
