As few pointed out Shagun is the best example for this.. she had 3 live in relationships - Ashok, Manoj and at the end Raman. All of them were a failure.

Secondly, the track is moving towards Ruhi's marriage with Nikhil and IshRa's separation , I guess coz although Ishita is showing Ruhi the negative side of live in , she is unknowingly pushing her towards marriage also and as this step will be taken by Ruhi , Raman will blast and blame Ishita for this as he has agreed to go her way which will all go wrong.
