There are many kids from good families despite having good parenting also took wrong paths and the reverse was true with kids from broken families and they turned out best. Its what they believe. Ruhi is very vengeful so she can't be controlled at all especially not through deception and violence and unfortunately Raman and Shagun chose that path where as Ishita tried a gentle approach. Ruhi didn't have a sound upbringing and her childhood is filled with rejection from both parents, later it was a choice for her papa and later it's filled with violence and no love. She is the result of all today and can't be controlled other than let her fall and be there for her when that happens. End of the day she is still a daughter to her parents.
