That girl was shocked...and i think she felt betrayed by the fact that ishima hid it, The one person she trusts the most. Cos based on her convo with ishu later ..that was highlighted.."YOU TOO"..hid it..she jumped to conclusions Just like her dad. That girl is tried of proving her loyalty to her dad..and this kid has been through a lot..from physical to mental abuse and gender impersonation. So she is looking for someone who was in a similar situation as herself...and she found that person in nikhil. Basically this kid has no guidance from her parents ...for a girl/ human being gone thru such a trauma ..this behavior is not surprising at all..the rebellious behavior..as she's been suppressed for a long time..8 years. What she sees ..that the whole world is against her...so she will do what she has to ..coz nobody wants to hear her side of the story. So now she trusts nikhil more than her parents. She raised her voice against her dad and mom. I think she's gonna say something thats going to hurt ishita more. i also felt ishu got insulted more than raman..as raman didn't allow her to speak and became authoritative..
Ishu...she wanted to share it with ruhi..I'm glad she didn't ..but later did as ruhi confronted her. But is it necessary to inform ruhi?..well it can be yes and a no. No..coz ruhi is moving on..and involved in her education..yes...mainly she doesn't want ruhi to take drastic steps..if ruhi comes to know by other means...like ruhi did today or in future..she's trying to avoid breaking up of the family, relationships, she doesn't want the repeat of whatever happened earlier. She doesn't want ruhi to feel bad about herself..She told her what it is to be a step mother and how the past always haunts and keeps popping in the present...by citing herself. She was right when she said her dad is overprotective..yes he is..nothing wrong there. She will bear the brunt...but what she's forgetting is ruhi being a step mom for an eight year old. She doesn't want history repeating...but that's exactly what's happening.
Raman...volatile temper ...as a father he had every right to be angry more so furious with his daughter. The person that he is doesn't want to hear any explanations from ruhi as he knows men like nikhil. As a father he doesn't want his daughter to be in a relationship with nikhil who has a complicated past...right on. Who better than him to know what it is all about. As a father he was absolutely right. Today it was raman outright refusing ruhi..i wish he spoke to her and made her understand. But simply laid down the rules...his warning to ruhi and ishu..is an indication for something disastrous. And ruhi will rebel...that's a given.
Ishra...again failure as parents and couples...why should it always be the mom's job?..its a dad's job too..as parents they have to talk to ruhi about relationships ..but no. Had they spoken to her and listened to her and offered guidance..age factor, doing something constructive, achieving something in life..accomplishments, and she will meet someone and will be more matured to identity the right person and expectations, and they will always support her and guide her, never hesitate to talk to them about anything and everything ..that would've been different. Wish it was done this way...a deviation from the usual route...a message that this can also be solved this way.
