"murgan" she said in a whisper and continued walking
"I am sorry Ishu..tumhe meri wajah se itni dhoor chalna pad Raha hain" he said to which she didn't reply
"arey kuch bol bhi toh do yaar..." he said continuing walking but she didn't reply
"aur waise bhi aise bin bole chalte rahenge toh paaon dukhenge hi" he says looking at her but getting no reply he continues searching here and there atleast to find a house of not a hotel only to find nothing... he continues searching when he hears her
"ahh" she shouts in pain when her leg got slipped
"Ishu" he shouts worriedly and goes closer to her and holds her saving her from falling... when she shrugs his hand away
"tu theek hain na?" he asks worried only to be replied by silence and she starts walking when her legs starts paining
"ahh" she holds her leg
"ishita"he tries to hold her when she shows her palm stopping him from coming forward
"Ishita tumhari paaon.." he was cut
"mein theek hoon..jhoote concern dikhane ki koyi zaroorat nahi hain" she snaps back and starts walking when her leg starts paining again not allowing her to move
"Ishu"he comes forward.."Kam se Kam chalna rokh do" he tries holding her when she moves backward
"kaha na jhoote concern ki koyi zaroorat nahi hain..Abhi Rukh jaayenge toh kal subah tak bhi kahin nahi pahunchenge" she starts moving when he holds her arm and lifts her in his arms
"kya kar Rahe ho..chodo mujhe" she struggles getting down when he makes his grip more strong not allowing her to get down
"Raman leave" she struggles
"chup.. lagta hain per mein moch aayi hain.. toh utharne ki koshish bandh karo,mein tumhe utharne wala nahi hoon... " he says looking at her
"mein nahi rehne wali...utharo Raman mujhe" she tries getting down
"Ishita tumhe bhi patah hain agar zidh pe aaya toh mein tumse zyaada Ziddi ban Sakta hoon toh chup karke raho" he says looking at the road.. she stays quiet knowing how stubborn he can be at times mostly when it came to her... really? was he as stubborn as he was when it came to things which concerns her... it was stupid to even think that given what he did to her.. everything changed
she looked at him thinking all this while he looked back at her... and they kept looking at eachother, their eyes speaking volumes, the hurt, the pain, unanswered questions everything.. she was the first to avert her gaze towards the road realising they were staring at each other but he continued to look at her
"Ishita chale" he came to her college next morning to pick her up
last night after his confession she went home without him and Raman left her to give her enough place to think... even in the morning she went to bath even before he came to wake her up and went to college even without informing
"tumhe toh aaj kuch kaam tha na office mein"
"madam woh mera office hain ..Matlab papa ka hain lekin jaldhi mera banjaayega toh mein kabhi bhi aa Jaa Sakta hoon" he says looking at her, she doesn't react to it
"toh chale" he starts his bike
"nahi.. woh mein Neha ke saath jaarahi thi toh.."
"kya Matlab Neha ke saath jaarahi hain.. tujhe Roz mein hi drop aur pickup karta hoon Na.. toh aaj kya hua" he gets down
"mujhe lagah tu nahi aane wala the aur woh zidh kar Rahi thi toh ..."
"ab aagaya na.. aur waise bhi shaayad tumne yaad nahi hain, kitne toh bhi kaam ho mein tumhe pick our drop karleta hoon.. toh jaake boldo ki mere saath aarahi hain...zidh toh mein bhi karsakta hoon"
"nahi Raman woh..." she was cut
" mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hain ishu... toh jaakar Boldo usse ki tu nahi aarahi hain"
"Raman aaj ek din..." she was cut again
"Ishita jaake boldo...jaaon" she remains silent
"ishu jaao yaar" and she moves from there and comes back
"baito" and she sits on the bike
The ride was unusually silent and finally when they reached home he caught hold of her hand took her directly to his room not considering her excuses of not coming.. he closed the door and asked
"problem kya hain tumhari Ishu..kal raat se mujhe avoid kar Rahi hain.. problem kya hain?"
"Raman Aisa kuch nahi hain"
"kya Matlab kuch nahi hain.. kya tumhe lagta hain mujhe samaj mein nahi aaraha hain"
"Raman Aisa nahi..." she was cut
"come on split it out ishu" but she remains silent
"Ishu...kuch bolo gi bhi"
"Haan Kar Rahi avoid..." she says loudly
"kisliye?" he asks coming forward.. she remains silent
"kal raat mein ne Jo bhi bola uske liye na?" he adds but she remains silent
"Ishu kuch bolo yaar... " but she looks at anywhere but him .."dekh Ishu agar yahi baat hain toh ismein avoid karne wali kya baat hain... ishu mein tumse pyaar karta hoon lekin iska..." he stops in the mid when he listen her shout
"just don't say that Raman" she shouts looking at him tears in her eyes
"pleasee" she adds tears flowing from her eyes
"Ishu..." he comes forward and holds her
"idar baith" he makes her sit on the bed and he sits down on the floor on his legs and faces her
"please Rona bandh Kar" he wipes her tears but she doesn't stop and fresh tears fall again
"Ishu"he cups her face..."mein tumse pyaar karta hoon yeh meri feeling hain... ismein tumhe bura lagne wali kya baat hain" she looks on
"aur avoid karne ki toh koyi baat hi nahi hain" he adds and she looks on
"dekh Ishu...galti meri hain,mujhe tumhe yeh baat kal hi nahi Bata dena chahiye tha...I actually didn't wanted to say it Ishu...mujhe patah tha tu Abhi mere liye feelings realise nahi kar paayi hain isliye I didn't wanted to say lekin jalan mein mein ne kehdiya tha..I m sorry" he says holding her hands
"Lekin mein tumse pyaar nahi karti Raman" she says looking at him when he smiles and she looks on confused
"sry" he stops smiling
"kya?"she asks him
"are you serious tu mujhse pyaar nahi karti?" he laughs
"okay I am sorry" he stops laughing
"mein sach mein tumse pyaar nahi karti Raman" she says tears forming in her eyes..."I am sorry" she adds tears flowing
"acha okay okay" he cups her face and wipes her tears "nahi karti na pyaar theek hain..nahi karti..Rona bandh Kar please" and doesn't reply tears still flowing
"bas Baba...tu pyaar nahi karti na mujhse.. theek hain...it's okay" he sits beside her in the bed holding her hands
she still continues crying
"arey kya hain hua yaar..tujhe lagta hain mujhe bura lag Raha hai?.. mujhe bura nahi lag Raha hain Ishu.."
"please Rona bandh Kar.."
"I am so sorry Raman" she says crying
"tumhari Kasam mujhe bura nahi lagah.."
"toh hum pehle ki tarah hi rahenge na?" she asks between her cries
"haan...hum pehle ki tarah hi rahenge ,bhool ja ki humara beech mein Aisa kuch hua hain.. mein bhi bhool jata hoon..aur tumhe uss Nazar se nahi dekhne ki bhi koshish karta hoon...ab khush"
she nods her head
"aaja" he takes her in a hug and kisses her hair... they stay in the same position for a while
"ab Jaa freshen up hoja..Jaa" he sends her towards her home and comes back
"pagal" he shakes his head smiling..."mujhe bura nahi lagah isliye kyunki mein tujhe bahut ache se Janta hoon..mujhe patah hain ki meri Ishu mujhse kitna pyaar karti hain bas realise karne ki zaroorat hain"
"koyi nahi woh bhi mein hi karwa lunga" he smiles saying"budhu"
"jis tarah mujhe confess ussi tarah tu bhi karegi"

"Raman..Kahan hain? time ho raha hain...aaj uthake chala Gaya..Kahan gaya" she says over phone
"sorry Ishu kuch kaam tha toh... mein evening pick karne aajaunga"
"lekin Gaya Kahan..."
"aake bolunga..tu Jaa Mihir drop kardega late horaha hain" and with that he cuts the call
"patah nahi kaha Gaya" she thinks and goes to college
AT EVENING
"Ishu baith" he says coming out of car
"kya hua..aaj car mein" and she opens the front door to see Shreya his colleague
"hey"says Shreya to which Ishita says a hi in reply
and she sits back her smiling faintly
"toh chale" he sits in the driver seat and continue driving while talking with Shreya and sometimes with Ishita even.. he could see ishita's face completely red whenever he laughs talking to Shreya
"it was nice spending time with you Raman" she gets down while he smiles in return
"how about coffee tomorrow" she adds while getting down
"ya sure" he says smiling
"Thanks for coming in the morning... patah nahi agar aap nahi hote toh kya hota"and with that she leaves and then comes back "evening ka plan don't forget."
"never...I will be there" he smiles and she goes away
"Ishu aage aaja" he says
"nahi aana hain...I am fine here" she says angrily
"arey kya hua?" he asks
"kuch nahi chalo" she says and he starts the car not insisting her more
"subah mein Kahan gaya tha?" she asks in between the drive
"woh.." he was cut
"uss Shreya ke saath tha? kya kar Raha tha" she asks angrily
"bas papa ne kuch kaam diya hua tha usse toh usne usse bigaad diya toh bas uska madhad Kar raha tha"
"toh subah uske wajah se nahi aaya... okay" she nods while he smiles
"evening ka kya plan hain?" she asks sternly
"woh hum office wale pub jaarahe the"
"ohh good enjoy"
"kya good.. tu bhi aarahi hain na?"
"no you enjoy...mujhe kal exam hain." she gives a fake smile and he controls his smile and the ride was silent and finally they reached their destination..he was about to go to his house when amma calls
"Raman dosa banaya hain..khaake jaaon" says amma who was sitting in her garden
"haa.."he was about to say yes
"nahi amma Raman na aaj bahut busy hain..kal aake khalega" she goes inside when he smiles and takes a leave from amma

Raman went to the pub waiting for Ishita to arrive... he knows her very well that he can say she would be there here at any time
he gets up and goes to Shreya when he sees her coming... whispering to Shreya that she is here and both start laughing sitting at the counter... this was the sight that caught Ishita when she entered..him whispering something in her ears and both laughing making her burn with jealousy
she sees them from far when they drink juice laughing... she can say that they were very much comfortable with each other and enjoying each other's company which made her even angrier
both went to the dance floor which was initiated by Raman itself.. they went to the floor and started swaying on the tune..
"jaise mujhe jala waise tujhe bhi hoga meri Jhansi ki Rani" he mumbled smiling
Ishita was looking at them with anger filled eyes when they swayed and he kept his hands on her waist and she kept her hand on his shoulder and they danced not leaving the eye contact for a minute... while Ishita fisted her palm in anger
he moved towards her and whispered something in her ears when she blushed slightly beating him on his shoulder while he laughed and they continued dancing
tears formed in her eyes looking them like that.. anger raising to its peak
he placed a hair strand behind her ear which was falling on her face and she blushed again
This was it... she couldn't take this anymore.. tears falling down her cheek she went to them and "SMACK" off went a slap on his face making Shreya and Raman shocked and she went away from there
"Ishu..Ishu kya hua" he went behind her she didn't reply and started moving when he caught hold of her wrist and stopped her.. she looked at him with anger and tear filled eyes
"chodo mujhe Raman"
"arey lekin hua kya?" he asks coming close
"tumhe nahi patah?" she asks angrily
he nods in a no
"toh jaane de" she tries to remove her hand from his
"nahi chodunga" he says pulling her closer
"Raman chodo ..tumhari girlfriend wait Kar Rahi hogi"
"Shreya meri girlfriend nahi hain" he says smiling
"oh really... tumhara body language toh kuch aur hi bol Rahi hai" she says angrily while he tries controlling his smile
"kaise chipak chipak ke tha pub mein" she says tears flowing from her eyes remembering them
"Haan tha... toh tumhe kyu itna faraq padraha hain?.. tumhe jalan horahi hain?" he asks coming closer
"bakwas Aisa kuch nahi hain" she wipes her tears
"toh kaisa hain?"
"kuch bhi nahi" she starts moving
"bolde ishu...pyaar karna buri baat nahi hain" he says smiling holding her wrist again and pulls her and holds her through waist
"mein tumse pyaar nahi karti Raman" she says sternly
"really?...ek Baar sochle" he smiles
"mein ne kaha na mein tumse pyar nahi karti Matlab nahi karti..." she shouts loudly shocking him
"kitne Baar bolu samajh mein nahi aaraha hain?...MEIN TUMSE PYAAR NAHI KARTI" she says again and with that he leaves her and she moves from there tears in her eyes leaving behind a confused Raman
"I can see a hotel "he says looking at a old hotel
he takes her to the hotel only to find it's an old hotel with no proper facilities.. having no option he goes there ishita still in his arms and asks the receptionist a room and Ishita too doesn't speak anything of taking two rooms looking the type of people that came there
"sir room ka alag aur police se bachane ka alag" he says looking at them
"kya Matlab" Raman asks confused and sees the receptionist looking at them and smirking
"oyyy tameez se...ye biwi hain meri..iska pati hoon mein" he says and she looks at him listening the words from his mouth
"Sorry sir aapka position dekh ke..." he stops and says sorry again
Ishita was about to get to down when Raman makes his grip tight...and he books the room asking them to get a doctor when they say doctor couldn't come here at this time as it is far away from the city, he asks them to get some ice and tales Ishita from there
Both enter the room only to find it to be a little room with a bed and a side lamp and a fan.. having no option he comes inside closing the door all the while Ishita in his hands and Ishita looking at him many things going in her mind when she hears
"Ishita I know tumhe bura lagega..toda takleef bhi hogi...but if u don't mind neeche uthregi.. meri kamar thooth Rahi hain" he says to which she was about to get down immediately and he smiles
"idar baith Jaa" he places her on the bed
"per dikha" he sits down and tries to take her leg when she pulls her leg back
"Ishu mein zabardasti bhi le sakta hoon" he says looking at her
"Ishita" she says and averts her eyes to which he shakes his head smiling a little
he takes her leg and sees it.."toda moch hain..ice rakha toh theek hojayega"
later he applies the ice on her leg and they have their dinner
he sees her sweating because of the fan's speed
"mein window open karta hoon"
"koyi zaroorat nahi hain" she says sternly
he goes to open the window ignoring her words... he tries to open the window which has a crack and was stuck but fails to open it.. he tries it again but again fails.. he tries again when the window finally opens but piercing his hand with a broken glass of window
"ahh" he removes his hand shaking to get away the pain
"kya hua?" Ishita shouts worried and comes to him ignoring her pain... she takes his hand in hers and sees blood coming out from his hand
"kaha tha..kaha tha na koyi zaroorat nahi hain ab dekho kya hogaya" she has tears in her eyes...
"history repeats"he murmurs smiling only audible to himself
she slowly removes the glass pieces From his hand blowing it each time he shouts of pain... she washes his hand with water and ties her kerchief scolding him
tears form in his eyes seeing his old ishita..his Ishu
she looks at him and asks"is it painting?" looking at the tears in his eyes
"Haan yahan pe" he points his heart
she looks at him and was about to go when he holds her hand
"Ishu ek baar meri baat sunle" she was about to go trying to take her hand out but in vain
"Ishu please..." he pleads
"sunne Ko kuch nahi hain Raman...sab khatam hogaya hain" she says still trying to take her hand from his hold
"kuch khatam nahi hua Ishu...agar khatam ho jata toh shaayad aaj mujhe Dard mein dekh ke,apna Dard Ko bulke mere paas nahi aati" he sees looking at her
"Aisa kuch nahi..." she was cut
"Maan kyu nahi leti ishu...tu Abhi bhi meri care karti hain" he says looking at her
"Raman mein ne Kahan na nothing is left" and he remains silent
and after a minute of silence he starts
"Ishu tujhe hamara waada yaad hain?" he looks at her but she looks at him confused
"chaahe kuch bhi hojaye...hum dono ke pyaar mein kitne bhi problem aaye...hamara pyaar hi Kyun na khatam hojaye.. Lekin hamari dosti woh hamesha ke liye rahega...hamare pyaar ke wajah se hamaara dosti nahi thoothega?" and she looks on tears forming in her eyes
"shaayad woh waada nibhana hum bhool gaye"he adds
"Ishita vishwanathan Iyer aaj tak jisne Apne Ravan Kumar Ko diye huye ek bhi waade ke nahi thod thi kya woh aaj yeh waada nahi nibhayegi?"he asks hopefully tears in his eyes too
"Ishu please... please...mujhe patah hain mein galat tha Lekin meri Dosti..woh galat nahi thi..kya Ravan Kumar ki Jhansi ki Rani usse ek aur maukha nahi desakti... apni Ravan Kumar ke saath dosti ko ek aur maukha nahi de Sakti?" he asks coming little forward..."apna waada nibhane ka time aagaya Ishu..mujhe meri dost ko wapas Dena ka time aagaya hain.."
"ek maukha Ishu..please ,hamaare dosti ke waaste... please" he forwards his hands asking her to hold it and she looks on tears falling down her cheek
