Hello friends back with new update .
Part 25
Raman entered the hall and like ishita he too scanned the hall first and his sight stopped on Ishita only ,she was already looking at him ,their eyes met and got locked for brief eyelock .Raman was first to broke the eyelock ,he then walked towards amma and appa . Looking to him ishita too walked towards their parents to take her in-laws blessings .Soon Ishra reached tl their parents ,they saw Ishra together and smiled looking to them together . Both Ishra bend together to take blessings of their parents .Toshiji kissed Ishra forehead and blessed them ,put black mark behind their ear and spoke taking evil eyes " kisi ki nazar na lage mere heer raanjhe ki jodi ko."
Raman smiled fully on her remark while Ishita down casted her eyes blushing hard . Toshiji started talking to ishita and amma, while Raman was talking to appa and his father when they heard the announcement.
it was bala who stood in the mid of huge stage and announced " so ladies and gentleman, we are here celebrating the sangeet function of our heavenly couple who are going to tie the nuptial knot tomorrow." All clapped together listening to him ,when he stopped them showing his palm and spoke " first of all give a heavy round applause for my sister in law Ishita iyer and her would be husband Raman bhalla ."
All clapped again ,when bala announced " and to start the function ,I will call the elder member of our family my in-laws that means Mr and Mrs iyer ."
Everybody clapped for senior iyers while mihir and bala whistled for them .Mr iyer held appas hand and walked towards the stage while she was smiling feeling shy ,dancing in front of crowd .Appa held amma's hands while the song played " gal mitthi mitthi bol ,bajne de taashe dhol ,o gori tainu chaad ki main choodi pahnaawa ".
Appa was happy dancing in his daughters sangeet while amma was smiling shyly at first but after that she became free .After senior iyers ,senior bhalla's were called they danced on song ," udde jab jab zulfe teri " they enjoyed a lot dancing together in their sons engagement, after them bala and vandu danced on song " bole choodiyaan ,bole kangna, hai mai ho gayi teri sajna ,tere bin DIL nahi lagda main the mar gayinaa ,le ja soniye le ja "" while after them Mimi's dance on song
" dilli wali girlfriend " and atlast simmi danced on song " banno tera swagger ".
Everybody enjoyed a lot ,after that some other cousins from both sides ,some guests and friends too danced ,finally ,Bala announced " ladies and gentle man as everybody has shown their moves , now our charming groom is here to sway ." All clapped aloud for Raman when all the lights get off covering whole hall with dim light ,soon a flashlight get on , everybody noticed Raman entering the stage with humming"hummm humm". He reached the stage and forwarded his hands to ishita calling her singing the song .
"Dehleez pe mere dil ki
Jo rakhe hain tune kadam
Tere naam pe meri zindagi
Likh di mere humdum"
She look on her side then signalled her finger to herself and asked "me".
He nodded flashing his ever charming dimples,while the song played.

She to smiled fully and saw her parents for permission ,appa nodded while mihika and vandu pushed ishita towards the stage . She walked to the stage and held Raman's hand, soon both started swaying in the song together .

Both danced together .All clapped for them ,Raman was going from the stage when another song played. Ishita smiled and started dancing signalling Raman to dance along with her.

All were happy and were admiring the heavenly couple while they were lost in themselves,when the fire alarm buzzed.
Everybody got shocked listening to the sound ,everybody's face become pale and scared listening to the alarms sound.Bala and Appa both assured everybody not to panic ,till they go and check .Saying so bala was going to check when the manager of hotel entered the hall and told" we are very sorry for the inconvenience you all are facing in our hotel but please just co-operate with us ,we request all of you to come out of the hall slowly and wait in lawn ,till the problem is solved ."
B- what's the problem.
M- actually we took don't know exactly , but as the fire alarm has buzzed ,we have informed the fire brigade ,they are coming shortly ,I think its due to some shot circuit ,we will fix the problem shortly ,till then please cooperate.
The moment manager listened , everybody got scared and started going out of the hall ,though manager had told to go out slowly but non listened and all started running out from the hall. Ishra too got down of the stage ,Ishita went to vandu and mihika while Raman went to their parents and elders to help them in getting out of the hall .Soon there was stampade in the hall ,all were running down to escape but ishita was not able to run due to her heavy lahenga ,she tried to run but her lahenga got stuck in her feet and she was about to fall but before that somebody pulled her to him. She raised her face and saw him , next moment she hugged him tight and burst into tears ,he cupped her face and spoke " shush Ishita its not time to cry ,be strong ."
I- I cannot walk due to this heavy lahenga
R- koi nahi .
Saying so he picked her on his shoulder and walked out of the room .Soon most of the guests were out of the hotel and were standing in the lawn .The ladies were in lawn while the men's were packing their bags to get out of the hotel .Soon they saw ,four rooms of upper floor were burning ,all got scared while the manager informed everybody to move out of the hotel as it actually has caught fire and fire brigade is still to come .
Mr iyer too told bhalla's to take their luggage along and leave the hotel along with their relatives and come to iyer mansion till he arrange any other place for them . Soon everybody gathered their luggage and left the hotel .Bala took the responsibility and took bhallas along with their relatives to his house. Bala tried his best to do all the arrangement nicely .
Mr iyer and bala were busy in doing arrangements and bhallas were busy in shifting while leaving all these behind ishita was going on crying without talking to anyone. Everyone was asking her the reason of her crying but she is denying saying ,she is alright . But the original reason of something else , actually she was very much scared of the incident. According to her everything was fine till date and suddenly such huge mishap happened in the first function of marriage. As she has heard many old ladies considering the bride as bad omen if something bad happens in the marriage. She has seen many old and elderly ladies in Raman's family and was scared thinking ,what if they consider her as bad omen ,what if they tell same to toshiji and she too start considering her unlucky more than this she was scared of tomorrow ,she was already sad and nervous ,fighting with her emotions and this incident added sadness and insecurity in her .
Till midnight everything was set ,all the groom side people were nicely adjusted in bala's house and were now resting while iyers side people had also went to rest .Appa too had returned and went to rest while bala stays and vandu stays in their house itself ,to take care the needs of guests .Everything was under control and the only person who was scared , nervous and gloomy was ishita ,she so wanted to talk to Raman but cannot as earlier they were busy in shifting and now he must be tired and resting thinking so she didn't even tried to call him . she settled in her bed ,all the moments of evening was replaying in her mind ,she thought how good everything was ,how happy everybody was and this sudden mishap ,changed everything . She was looking at her phone again and again thinking may be Raman call her but to her bad luck he didn't call .she closed her eyes and the scene when they were dancing floated in her mind ,she smiled still closing her eyes but next moment her smile vanished ,she got up in jiffy ,breathing heavily, that's when her phone buzzed , she looked at the screen ,bala's number flashed in it .Ishita picked in jiffy thinking why he called her so late .She picked it and asked without listening to him " hello jeeju ,why you called so late ,everything is alright na ,how is Raman ".
B- hold on ,hold on shatabdi express ,let me speak ,you will speak everything then what I will say .
I- bolo na jeeju .
B- at first you tell me ,why you are up at this hour .
I- so jeeju ...so main...you didn't answered me and asking other question.
She spoke trying to change the topic when bala smiled and spoke " everything is fine ,all are sleeping except one but was reluctant to call you thinking what everybody will think or you must be sleeping ".
I- who.
B- who else my would be brother in law.
I- wo kaun hai and why he is worried .
B- arey buddhu ,I m talking about Raman ,he is worried about you but is not calling you feeling awkward ,talk to him.
Saying so bala gave disconnected his phone and signalled raman to call and went away .After a moment Raman called her ,she picked the phone immediately ,but non of them talked for few seconds then ishita spoke meekly
" hello Raman are you there ".
R- how are you .
Ishita closed her eyes listening to this and tears started flowing from her eyes like river , she was trying to speak but words were not coming out from her mouth ,he can only listen to her sobs . Raman spoke feeling worried " hey ishita. what happened ,why are you crying ".
I( with great difficultly )- Raman wo..wo.
R- bolo Ishita did anyone told you anything .
I- was somebody saying anything .
R- who .
I- who Mummyji ,chachi ji ,aunty ji any one .
R- about what ,was they suppose to say anything .
I- any thing about fire incident or me .
R- yeah all liked you very much and your family too .they were praising you very much and was saying our Jodi looks very nice .
I- anything else .
R- about .
I- weren't they calling me unlucky.
R(surprised)- what why would they call you like this .
I- because fire incident happened in very first function itself .
R- Ishita itni faaltu ki baatein tum laati kahan se ho .nothing like that everyone is happy ,all liked you very much, even they were praising your family that you people arranged place in such small span of time .why did you thought so .
I- because I love you so much and cannot even think of parting from you out of any reason .
R- oh my god ishita ,you are such a cutie pie, I just wanna crush you in my arms and hug you tight for this .even I too love you a lot and listen carefully , this marriage will happen at any cost . got that and no one can stop this marriage at any condition .I knew you must be thinking something stupid like that ,that's why I was feeling restless .
I- sachchi you were restless for me .
R- nope jhoot , I m devil na that's why I don't sleep in nights .
I- sachchi ,I never know that .
R- chup badmash ,I will tell you tomorrow who I m .
Saying so he smiled naughtily while ishita blushed fully .Like this they talked for long and atlast slept almost when it was dawn .

PSS - Raman is not boring and sadu ,its just he is mature and is maintaining the dignity of being a professor though he is marrying his student .
