Here, as always Ishita clears his misunderstanding by getting the DNA test done.
But, from my view, that DNA test should not have been done and Raman should have realized by himself that Ashok is playing this dirty game with him.
I am not sidelining Ishita here, but I feel that today's Raman with a cold exterior is so full of emotions from within. Most importantly when it comes his kids, Ruhi and Adi are his life although he does not express.
Here it goes...
Raman is again fighting this inner battle to take the DNA test or not. He goes to a secluded place and keeps shouting. The grievance within him is continuously swelling up. Facing towards the sky he speaks up
'What have I done to deserve this ? All my life I craved for a simple life as my father but why am I being chastened time and again.
Then he keeps mum for a long time.
He knows it in his heart that Ruhi is his and only his daughter, that Ashok is again playing his dirty game to get back at him but on the other side all these years of cruel life he had to live is unable to accept the truth.
He is in a fix. On one side he wants to do the DNA test and get everything cleared but on the other side he does not want to disrespect his daughter's love by doing this.
He heads home postponing the decision for DNA test.
When he reaches home, he witnesses the sight of Ruhi being fed by her Ishima. This image calms down raging battle he is going through in his brain. He captures this image with his eyes and makes sure to store it for all his life.
Ruhi sees his father and shouts,
'Papa'
She runs and hugs his legs and gestures him to pick her up.
He smiles and picks her up.
She kisses him in his cheeks.
Raman is suddenly guilt-ridden because just the day before he had talked rudely with her and here she is, showing all the love she has towards him.
Then and there he makes an impulsive but appropriate decision.
He will not do the DNA test. He knows Ruhi is his daughter and he will not do anything to disregard this relation.
Ishita is observing Raman from when he has arrived. She is already angry with him for his behavior towards Ruhi in the previous days. But now when she sees the change in his behavior she is perturbed. She wants to ask about the sudden change but she knows that she will be crossing the boundary of their relation by this so she keeps mute.
After dinner in their room, Raman is sitting with a smile on his face, pleased with his decision.
With Ishita enters and surprised to see Raman smiling. She has never seen Raman with such a content smile on his face.
For an unknown reason she feels relaxed seeing him like this.
But when Raman notices Ishita he comes back to his Ravan Kumar mode and asks
R - aise kya ghoor rahi ho ?
I - (looking away, after a pause) kuch nahi, aaj Ravan kumar has raha hai, toh mujhe laga kisi ko to rulake aaya hoga...
R - oho.. madrasan, zayada udd math, nahi agli bari rone ki teri hi hogi.
I - kuch bhii.. Waise, mujhe acha lagaa ki aaj aap Ruhi se ache se baath kar rahe ho
After hearing Ruhi, he again gives that smile making Ishita poised.
But her curiosity got better of her and she asked
I - main reason jaan sakti hu is changed behavior ka ?
Raman is perplexed by her question. He did not see it coming. He does not want to reveal Ashok's dirty game to anyone. He after a long pause says
R - Tum aam khao na gutliya kyun gin rahi ho.
I - aap kabhi bhi seedhe sawal ka seedha jawan nahin denge na, sudhrenge nahin!
R - (in a dramatic tone) ab tumhi ne to mera naam Ravan rakha tha na toh jaisa naam waise hi bartaav.
I(thinking) - aaj Raman ko ho kya gaya hai, maine kabhi inhe itne positive mode mein nahin dekha.
Just then Ruhi comes and tells them that she will sleep with them today.
Before Ishita could say, Raman says,
R - ofcourse rooh, come to papa..
Ruhi sits on Raman's lap and starts chatting
Ishita witnessing this is again poised.
But watching the father daughter duo, she keeps all her queries aside and clicks this pic with her eyes to remember it all her life.
Next day, Ashok again bumps into Raman on purpose to instigate him more.
He starts his same rant (not part of my story)
But this time Raman, instead of retorting back, smiles at him and leaves (biggest retort back to Ashok).
Raman in car, feels content not replying back to Ashok and not even getting angry at him.
The End
