Part 12
Ishra were in each others embrace when amma showed her with coffee and snacks ,she stopped at the door seeing Ishra position and knocked the door .Ishra parted and composed themselves ,Raman got up and walked to amma ,he took the tray from her and called her in .She hesitantly entered the room ,make her in ishitas bed .Amma sat there but was not speaking anything ,she just said " have your coffee".
Raman took it and asked keeling the coffee at one side " aunty are you still angry ".
A- I m not angry but scared ,its along period of nine months .
R- not nine ,just five months .After five month I will get divorce and will marry ishita on the very next day when I will get divorce.
A- how are you so sure that you will definitely get the divorce .
R- shagun never loved me ,she was living with me because of her father's property.
A- matlab I didn't get you .
R- her father wanted her to marry me but she was not ready and to make her ready he transfered his property on my name because of which she had married me .She told me about this on the day I saw him with other man and on the very same day I filed the divorce case and shagun got ready instantly as I m ready to give her whole property back .
A( surprised )- aiyoo murugan ,you are giving her property back to get divorce.
R- aunty I needed peace in my life and after knowing about ishita's pregnancy,I wanted the divorce at any cost .
A( folding her arms )- I m so sorry to spoke those words to you but I was so scared listening to this ,you know ..
R(holding her hands)- I know aunty you were not wrong but situation is wrong. but trust me I will always be with ishita.
They were talking when toshiji entered the room and spoke " oye tum log yahaan kya baatein kar rahe ho ".
Raman saw his mother and spoke" ma aao na I wanted to talk to you both ."
T- bol puttar ,what you want to say .
R- ma ,aunty Ishita was never infertile but her womb is very weak .Her pregnancy is very sensitive ,she wants total bed rest and live stress less life .The doctor has told that she may or may not complete her nine months ,may be we can loose ...
Ishita stopped him keeping her hand on.his mouth and spoke " please don't speak like this ".
T(concerned )- ab kya hoga puttar .
R- we just have to be extra careful towards her .
Amma /toshiji - we are ready to take as much as needed care of her .
R- that's what I m saying .Ma if I want to be with ishita in nights ,may be she need some help .
T- jaisa tujhe achcha lage puttar but I just want ishita and my grandchild to be ok .I m just eagerly waiting for the day when she will come to my house as my DIL .
Like this they talked for some more and then bhalla's left for their home ,Raman gave all the instruction to Ishita and went back to his home .Bhalla's were too happy today as they got a new happiness in their life ,toshiji told Raman to bring ishita for at least one day ,she wants to welcome her as her daughter in law ,Raman too was happy looking to the happiness for his mother ,Mr bhalla and simmi too were very much excited .They had their dinner happily and retired to their room .After coming back to room he called ishita who picked his call on first ring itself ,he smiled fully and asked " seems someone was waiting for my call ".
I(blushing )- you told me that you will call that's why .
R- did you had you dinner .
I- I tried but couldn't, just had some bite .
R-(concerned)- why why you didn't had you food,yaar you know na...
I(interrupting him in mid)- arey baba I told na I tried but was feeling nausea
that's why.
R- ohh ,had you took your medicines .
I- haan le li .
R- did you had milk .
I- I don't like milk ,I feel like vomiting while having milk .
R- don't be childish ishita ,you have to drink milk ,you know na .
I- (making dirty face)- yeah I know but I don't like .
R- you don't worry ,tomorrow I will bring some protein powder then you have milk along with it .
Ishita again made yucky face and nodded ,like this they talk for sometime more and then hung the call wishing good night to each other as they were not so comfortable that they would talk anything .Next morning ,Raman got ready and went out ,while having breakfast he talked about the flat in which Mr bhalla wanted iyers to shift . Mr bhalla gave him the keys and told that he too is coming with raman to help iyers in shifting .Raman agreed while Toshiji and simmi too got ready saying they too wants to see ishita , Raman smiled and went to iyer house. He pressed the door bell ,amma opened the door and greeted them , Raman asked about Ishita ,Amma told that she is in her room .Raman walked towards her room and entered as the room was open .Ishita was getting ready for her office , when Raman entered the room but she didn't noticed him and was still busy in brushing her hairs .
He crossed his hand to his chest and asked calmly " can I know where are you going ".
She turned in jiffy listening to him and asked " arey Raman aap savere savere yahaan ".
R- humm I came here to check you but was in dilemma thinking is it right to visit at this early hour but seems I was right .you didn't answered me ,where are you going .
I- where I will go at this time ,office ja rahi hoon .
R- no you are not going anywhere .
I- ( confusingly )- arey I m not telling lie ,I m going to office only .
R- wahi to ,you will not go to office from now.
I- Kyun .
R- you forget ,doctor told that you have to rest .
I- I remember but what I will do in house whole day and...
R- and what .
I- I was saying that din bhar ghar mein ...
R- not that ,after that what you were saying .
I- I mean to say that now if we have decided to have the baby,my medication will go for whole nine months ,you know now a days medical facilities are so costly...
He didn't let her complete and interrupted " you don't have to think about that ,you just take care of yourself and baby ,rest I will see .
I- but raman how can I...
She was yet to complete her sentence when he kept his finger on her mouth and spoke " shush ishita ,no if no but just listen to me ,you have to resign and rest in these days ,after delivery you can again get back to your job ."
I- but how will you manage expenses of two houses and appa's pension is also not that much .
Raman made her sit and settled beside her ,she looked at him quizzing as if looking for her answer ,he encircled his arms around her and spoke " Ishita I agree I m not very much rich but I earn that much that I can bear your treatment and fulfill your wishes if its not so high. tell me what you think ."
I- Raman we are middle class people , family and relationships are always important than money for us .Like wise my wishes and desires are also not so high ,I just want care and respect from you .
R- then leave the job ,I will take care of everything.
I- but it don't look good ,this baby belongs to both of us ,then why only you will bear all the expenses.
R- because you are hearing all the pains.
Ishita looked at him with questioning eyes ,he nodded and spoke " yes ishita ,I can only bear the expenses while you will bear all the pain .jab baby hamara hai to we will share everything na .haina ".
Ishita nodded and Raman pulled her for side hug ,ishita too rested her head on his chest ,Raman kissed her hairs abd spoke " you know ma ,papa and simmi have also come , papa will help in shifting while ma want to take you home and welcome you as her DIL ."
Ishita teared herself from him and asked excitedly " sachchi ."
Before raman can answer ,he noticed unshed tears in her eyes ,he cupped her face and asked " what ".
Ishita hugging him " I m very much scared Raman ."
R- why .
I- you know I have never ever thought in my dreams that I will get so much love from my husband and in laws ,and this baby has added the happiness .you know this is bliss ,I m scared if some mishap happens.
R- shush ,we have already talked about this ,I will be with you always, now don't stress yourself much and enjoy all the care and pampering you are getting .ma has come you go home with her and simmi .
I- you will not come.
R- no I have to be here to help in shifting .
Ishita nodded ,Raman pecked her temple and told her to take care that's when they heard knock at the door .Raman opened the door and saw simmi standing there ,she entered the room and hugged Ishita ,happily ,Ishita too smiled back .Raman left them for talking and went out to check about the preparations of shifting.
