B]Six months later[/B]
Mihika-appa, I saw ishu today. She is very sad, I think raman is ...
She couldn't complete as appa interrupted her in mid and spoke getting angry " how many times i had to tell you all ,is ghar mein koi uska naam nahi lega. she died for us ,six months ago. Now i have only two kids vandu and mihir .
Saying so he went to his room angrily making mihika silent ,she then looked at mihir and spoke " mihir at least you listen to me and try to understand ".
M- hadn't you listened what appa has told.
Mi- suna maine but I can't close my eyes and ears like you ,ishita was my best friend ,it was her because of whom I got you and such a loving family . mihir please try to understand ishita is not happy with Raman. I saw her today in temple with her mother in law and sister in-law , they were ok but Ishu was not . She has lost much of her weight , the spark of her eyes ,the glow on her face was gone . She was looking too sad and sick .
M- I think you are worrying unnecessarily mihika ,may be she is unwell that's why .
Mi- may be she can be unwell but she didn't look happy mihir even Raman was also not there .
M- you mean to say her father in law and Raman's brother were there.
Mi- no they were also not there .
M- then how come you assume that Raman should be there ,now stop assuming and let me go . I m getting late for my office .
Saying so mihir left for office while mihika stomped her feet in frustration and spoke " mihir I don't know how to make you people understand but there was something wrong in ishu's behavior ,she is not happy . He sadness was clearly visible on her face . Hey murugan please keep ishu safe,hope all my assumptions are wrong ".
Saying so she went to kitchen to do her daily work . On the other hand ,in bhalla house ,the ladies returned from temple , all the men were ready to leave for office . Toshiji saw them and spoke " asp logo ko pata hai na ,you have to come early in evening as today is karwachauth ".
Mr bhalla and his elder son Ashok bhalla nodded in affirmation while Raman spoke " no ma I can't make it ,aaj mere friend ka birthday and he has invited me in party ".
T- are you mad ,here your wife is keeping fast for you and you wanna go to party . chupchaap ghar wapas aana .
R- please ma ,don't force me to repeat me always . how many times I had told you that I had married her to only take revenge of my baby sisters death. My Rinky died because of her idiot brother, aakhir kya kami thi meri behen mein that he couldn't love her and married that mihika . uski wajah se meri bahen mari and I married his sister to make her life hell .bas. I m not coming in evening ,no matter she eats or not . And ma please don't try to defend her ,its just uske bhai ki karni ki sazaa use mili hai bas.
Sating so he left from there glaring his mother while ishita eyes got moist listening to him ,she went to her room without saying anything to anyone . Toshiji looked at Ashok for help ,for which he spoke " mummyji you don't worry ,I will try to make him understand ".
Saying so Ashok and Mr bhalla too left the house while toshiji and her elder daughter in law shagun also went to their respective room to take rest .
Bhallas and iyers were well known business family in north India . Earlier they were business clients and use to do many contract together but about two years back bhalla's daughter Rinky started loving mihir ,son of iyers . When bhalla's come to know about this ,they agreed to her and took rinky's alliance to iyers but there they came to know that iyers had already fixed Mihir's marriage with mihika whom he loved from earlier . Rinky couldn't take this news and committed suicide . She lost her life ,bhalla and iyer broke their professional relationship and became enemy . Raman loved Rinky way too much,he was not getting over Rinky's death and finally decided to take revenge from iyers . He and ishita were college mates ,he got the idea to teach iyers lesson ,he trapped ishita in his fake love ,married her and now had left her in his house ,poor girl was now living a hell life without any fault of hers .
It was evening the trio ishita ,shagun and toshiji got ready beautifully in red outfit . The society ladies came to bhalla house to perform puja ,they saw ishita and spoke " toshiji your both the daughter in laws are too beautiful , shagun to sundar thi hi aur ye choti wali usse bhi sundar hai ".
Toshiji smiled fully on their praises and all started doing puja ,after puja all sat and started waiting for moon.Mr bhalla and ashok too had come from office but Raman hadn't . Ishita got sad not seeing Raman but didn't tell anything while toshiji told Mr bhalla to call Raman . He did same while Ashok was ogling at ishita instead of his wife ,yeah though bhallas were angry on iyers but never wanted to take revenge like this . Raman had made that evil revenge plan all of himself and even excuted it alone . After he brought ishita in his house , he got slapped by his mother for his act while his father too scolded him a lot . Toshiji,Mr bhalla and shagun never treated ishita badly ,only Raman was the one whose indifference broke her .while beyond all this Ashok always had bad eyes on ishita ,he always showed his fake sympathy to ishita in absence of Raman though she always chose to be alone in the house .
Today also he was ogling ishita shamelessly which didn't go unnoticed by her , to avoid his hungry eyes ishita told toshiji that she is not feeling well and went to her room on the other hand Raman was partying with his friends but his mind was only on ishita . The note he was trying to avoid her thoughts more he was thinking about her . But he behaved adamantly and didn't came back . In bhalla house all the lady along with ishita performed the puja after seeing the moon and had water from the hands of their husband only ishita was alone . She was going back to her room when she felt dizzy and was about to fall ,ashok held her and tried to make her drink water ,she politely refused and went to her room with the support of neelu .
Later toshiji come to ishita room and spoke " ishita puttar why are you giving your life for that idiot . I know he is my son but I m ashamed of his act ,puttar uske liye jaan mat de ,chal kha le pata nahi wo khota kab tak aayega ".
I- thank you mummyji ,but this fast is especially for husband na and it is not complete till we drink water from his hands . so I will wait for him ,ya Raman mujhe paani pilayenge ya phir main bhookhi pyaasi mar jaaungi .
T- zidd na kar puttar .
I- I m good mummyji ,mujhe mere haal par chod de .
Toshiji kept the water and food in side table and went instructing ishita to have it when she will want . On the other hand Raman tried s lot to enjoy in party but cannot ,he even couldn't drink there and returned home like that though bit late . The time he entered the house and was going towards his room he saw ashok going towards his room ,he fasten his step and reached his room only to listen ashok " ishita why are you being adamant ,kuch kha lo Raman itni jaldi nahi aayega ".
He spoke keeping his hand on ishita's shoulder ,who was sobbing silently , keeping her head on her knees which were folded till her chest . She immediately shrugged his hands and asked curling herself more " bhai aap yahaan ".
A - I just came to ask about your wellbeing ,you were feeling dizzy na ,paani piya.
I- I m good now ,aap please jaaiye I will have my food .
A- ishita why are you ruining your life behind Raman . why are you being so blind in his love that you can't even see his indifference .you know na everyone loves you in this house except him .
I- humm .
A- you should know that you have to be fit not only for him but for us also .come I will feed you .
Saying so he was about to pick the plate when she stopped and spoke " shagun must be waiting for you ,please go from here ".
A- I know but you too are important so..
I- aap please jaao .
A- arey ishita ..
He was about to say more when they listened " arey bhai you here in my room ,at this time ".
A- arey haan chote ,actually ishita wasn't well and you were also not there ,so I thought to feed ishita .
R- bhai she is like your daughter in law and its unethical to be in her room at this time ,I m there to look after her ,you go now .
A- haan main bhi wahi bol raha tha ..
Saying so ashok left from the room while a fresh set of tears made way from her eyes ,but this was happy tears as she came to know that though he is angry on her but still he is possessive and protective towards her .
