Author's note-before updating this, I want to thank u all for the overwhelming response I got in last part of this story. Really loved ur comments, never knew that story is so favourite of u all. Many requested for it second season, will surely think about it. Here is the epilogue, enjoy. And a special thanks to arooshee for ur lovely words of appreciation, it really means alot. EPILOGUE
Raman was sitting with ishru and Mimi waiting for ishita's name to be announced.
At last, he got irritated and said-why they r not calling ishita, arey yeh bhi koi baat hui. They r calling every Tom, dick and harry but not my ishita. Main jaaun kya,samjhaun unhe ki kaun hai ishita. He said angrily making everyone smile.
Mihika-just relax bhai, bhabhi will be called in last, as she has topped the exams.
Raman -yeh kya baat hui, top kiya toh last mein bulayenge, meri rooh so jayegi naa, nahi dekh payegi mumma ko degree lete hue. He was saying when Ruhi went to his arms and said -luhi nahi choyegi papa, aap tenchion mat lijiye, good boy ki talah baithiye, fingel on ur lips. She said keeping her little finger on Raman's lips making him and everyone smile.
Raman -achcha meri maa,papa good boy ki tarah baithenge. OK.
Ruhi nodded and pecked his cheek while they start waiting for ishita's name to be called.
It has been three years since ruhi was born, today ishita were sitting in convocation ceremony and ishita will get her degree today.
After waiting for some more time, ishita's name was finally called. She got up happily and went to the stage.
Dean of the college congratulated her and gave her mic to save few words. She took it and said -i don't know what to say as I have never even thought in my life that I can ever live this moment, today I got my medical degree,from today I am Dr Ishita Raman Kumar bhalla, this name gave me today my identity and today I wanna thank someone very special. The one who is behind my success, and he is none other then my husband, raman Kumar bhalla. Log kehte hai ki har kamyaab aadmi ke peeche ek aurat ka haath hota hai I think I am the only woman, jiske success ke peeche uske husband ka haath hai, thank u raman, thank u so much, mujhe Ek aisa sapna dikhane ke liye jisse dekhne ki himmat bhi chod di thi maine, aur unhone naa sirf sapna dikhaya balki usse pura karne mein har tareeke se help ki. I don't know, how I would have survived if u weren't beside me. From getting me admitted in college to taking care of our baby, u did everything for me. I don't know how to thank u enough but today I wanna say something to u, thank u for coming in my life and becoming my life, I love u raman. She said looking at Raman with moist eyes and suddenly burst into tears not able to control her emotions.
Raman got up at once and went to the stage, he took her in side hug and consoled her while she was trying hard to compose herself. After few minutes, she could finally composed herself, she said to the dean-if u don't mind sir, can I take my degree from my husband's hands.
Dean nodded and gave her degree to Raman. He gave her the degree while ishita bend and touched his feet. Raman blessed her while his eyes too got filled. Dean gave him mic to say a few words. He wiped his tears in a jiffy and said-for me ishita is not just my wife, I loved and pampered her as my first kid and today my baby made me proud. He said and gave back the mic not able to say anything .everyone clapped for the adorable couple and finally they went off the stage. They went to Mimi and Ruhi.mimi congratulated ishra while ruhi was confused that why they r crying.
Ruhi-papa Aap log lo kyun lahe ho, luhi ko kuch chamajh mein nahi aa laha. She said getting confused.
Raman took her in his arms and said-nothing much rooh, it's just mumma got her degree today and she got emotional. Aaj mumma doctor ban gayi,toh thoda royi royi karne ka mann kiya mumma ka, aapka mann toh royi royi karne ka nahi kar raha.
Ruhi nodded in no and said-luhi ko toh bhookhu lagi. Chalo khana khaiye.
Mihika-actually mujhe bhi bhookh lagi hai, let's go and have dinner somewhere.
Everyone nodded and finally all went out of the venue. Ishraru got into their car while Mimi got into their, they r also married for one and half years.
They reached to the Chinese restaurant and gave the order. They were waiting for food when mihika said-bhai, I think we should go for a vacation, it's much time since we have gone anywhere together. Mihir aur aap bhi bahut busy the kuch dino se,i was also busy and bhabhi also had exams. But now we all r free ,so why don't we go somewhere together. What say.
Ishita-yes raman, she is right. I think we should go. What say ruhi.
Ruhi-haan papa, ghoomi chalo, luhi ghoomi jayegi, aichi jagah jahan del sala paani ho, jichme lehle aati hai.
Raman -babu ko beech pe jaana hai.
Ruhi-haan, wahan pal mumma papa ke pail pal pail lakh kal chalengi aur luhi photo khichegi. She said getting excited.
Everyone smiled and raman said-ok then let's go to Mumbai .what say mihir.
Mihir-i am good bhai, let's go.
Raman -ok then we r doing reservation, u too get the luggage packed. Hum kal ho niklenge.ok.
Ruhi shouted, yaay and pecked Raman's cheek.
Next day, ishraruh and Mimi went to Mumbai for a week. They did reservation in a hotel near the beach so that Ruhi can enjoy the sight seeing.
They reached Mumbai in the evening and checked in the hotel. Ruhi was sleeping in Raman's arms while his free hand was around ishita. They went to the room and raman made ruhi sleep comfortably on the bed and said-ishita, u too rest for sometime, we will go for outing in evening.
Ishita nodded and went to change while Raman was checking out the various places they can go and enjoy.
After sometime, ishita came wearing kurti with leggings and said settling beside ruhi-raman, Aap bhi rest kar lijiye kuch der ke liye.
Raman nodded and settled beside ishru after freshening up. He caressed ruhi's face and pecked her forehead softly.
Ishita smiled and said-hamari ruhi kitni badi ho gayi naa.
Raman smiled and said-yes I can't believe my little baby is about to complete three years. Lagta hai abhi kuch din pehle ki hi baat hai jab yeh Itni choti si thi, meri baahon mein aayi thi. Ekdum nanhi si, I don't know when she grown up. Tumhe yaad hai jab yeh paida hui thi. He said smiling.
Ishita -ofcourse how can I forget that day, actually I remember every day after that day. U made each day memorable with ur love and care. How can I forget how much u helped me in taking care of our little rooh while I was giving my exams. I remember how u use to take care of rooh all day, usse nehlane de lekar uski potty saaf karne tak. U played her mother along with her father. Such mein u r such a loving father. Rooh is so lucky to have u as her father.
Raman smiled hearing this and said-thats why my baby called papa first and then mumma, I remember how jealous u were with it. He said smiling.
Ishita-it wasn't jealousy but it was a moment of pride that my baby loves her father more then her mother, coz her father deserves that love. I was happy to see those tears of happiness in ur eyes.
Raman -yes it was an unforgettable moment of my life, meri beti ne mujhe papa kaha tha, I was on nine clouds. He said while tears formed in his eyes again remembering that time.
Ishita-and u remember how she took her first step.how she walked into ur arms.
Raman -that was another memorable day for me. He said remembering that day.
FLASHBACK
It was a hectic day for raman. After seeing three back to back cases he was finally back to home only to see ishita working in kitchen while ruhi was sitting on the mat playing with her toys, raman sat on the couch and said-jaan, paani.
Ishita-ji laayi, she said while raman closed his eyes feeling tired, only to feel someone's tap on his leg. He opened his eyes to get surprise of his life. Ruhi was standing holding the couch smiling showing her charming dimples and said, papa.
Raman got surprised and said-betu kaise aaye Aap.
Ruhi took one step towards him and said-ai aiche papa.
Raman couldn't be more happier, he just picked her up and kissed her making her giggle.
Ishita came and asked-what happened. Itni khushi kis baat ki.
Raman didn't answered just kept ruhi on floor, she took baby steps towards ishita and said reaching to her-mumma.
Ishita too got happy and picked ruhi in her arms. She looked at Raman, he was looking at them. Ishita went to him with ruhi in her arms and hugged raman tight while he wrapped his arms around ishru.
From next day, raman started taking Ruhi out for walk everyday. She use to ran on the grass holding her walker making Ishra happy to no extent.
FLASHBACK END
Ishita-very soon she will go to school, hamari Ruhi kitni badi ho gayi naa. She said smiling pecking ruhi's forehead lovingly.
Raman -yes, of course, hamari bachchi kitni badi ho gayi. But our love is still fresh as before naa,he said to which ishita nodded. Raman pulled her to himself and said-lets sleep for sometime, then we will go out. Ishita nodded and soon trio slept cuddled in each other.
Later in evening, ishraruh and Mimi went out to roam the city, Ruhi was too excited to play in the sand near the beach. She asked raman to make sand castles and soon ruman was busy in making sand castles. While Mimis were enjoying coconut water. Ishita too took coconut water for ruman and gave them. Ruhi was enjoying her while Ishra were drinking from one coconut only. After that they play in the water, walked hand in hand on the beach. Ruhi told them to walk keeping ishita's leg on Raman's leg. Raman picked ruhi in his arms and ishita kept her legs on his legs. They walked together happily while mihir was clicking pics of them happily. Suddenly ishita stopped and ran to mihika who was about to fall. Raman and mihir too went to them with ruhi.
Mihir-kya hua bhabhi, achanak gir kaise gayi yeh.
Ishita checked her and smiled saying-coz ur miku is pregnant, congratulations mihir, u r going to be father soon.
Mihir got too happy hearing the good news while Raman hugged him tightly congratulating him.
Ruhi didn't understand anything and asked-kya hua mumma, chab khuch kyun hai.
Ishita picked her in her arms and said-kyunki, chachu papa banne walen hai. Aapka chotu bhai ya behen aane wali hai. She said happily ,Ruhi got happy hearing this and kissed mihika in excitement.
Soon they reached hotel to celebrate the new found happiness.they were celebrating in Mimi's room ,seeing ruhi busy with Mimi , Raman took ishita in a side and said-dont u think, we should also plan for another baby.
Ishita looked down blushing and said-abhi kaise raman, Ruhi is too small, aur miku ko bhi toh care karni hogi hume.
Raman nodded and said-yes, it's true but atleast we should start planning, it will take sometime to implement it. He said caressing her waist.
Ishita closed her eyes feeling goosebumps with his touch and said-i am always ready raman, aap joh chahe kar sakte hai, coz my heart, my body, my soul all belongs to u only.
Raman -i know, and that's why I love u unconditionally. Toh second baby ki planning shuru karen.he asked naughtily to which she said huskily in his ear-aaj raat ke hi. Saying so she hide her face in his chest while he hugged her more into himself feeling happy and contented with his small family.
