Why are they using bds?
Couple of theories
I think.initially they decided to go with prosthetics which though take time but are better in covering lines and flaws and a stubble etc when on camera ...maybe because of tge cost and that it requires very good make up to cover the prosthetics abd make it look 'natural' in a tv format- where they don't have a chance to improve things in post production- esp since they air daily.
So now they have decided to stick with heavy make up...which I am sure they try not to apply in the day time and schedule KPs close up scenes for a late night schedule where the make up stays longer...except the market scene where apparently they did have a problem with the make up and KPs stubble was a problem too...
So now i think he does 2 sets of shots..one master close up.shots for a bunch of episodes together...when he is clean shaven and the make up looks perfect and then his long shots for the same scenes based on availability of his co stars in that slot...
That said.. cvs clearly knew the challenges in a daily show...and is it really too tough to say these scenes are critical ...and need at least the leads ans ruhaanika on set at this time 😕...clearly lack of foresight and planning though KP seems to be giving it his all despite the challenges
