Anyway, KP is trying for content based movies where he can show his acting prowess. It's tough for tv actors to get a start in Bollywood as they usually don't click in masala types films due to their preconceived image. Tv actors Irfan Khan and Nawazudding Siddiqui started from doing small yet meaty roles in films, that's what made them international stars now. SSR applied the same tactics by signing multi-starrer Kai Po Che and he became successful too. I think KP is aiming for the same. He's done in City of Gold too and the critical response from Bollywood pundits were overwhelming but the timing was wrong. Had it been in 2016, he wouldn't have to look back again. Back in 2010, films like City of Gold were treated as art film only. Gangs of Wasseypur changed the film making in Bollywood forever, now there is a wave for films like those. Hope to see KP in that kinda film with a meaty role...soon. 😊

By the way, someone told me he was on the set yesterday. So this news may be distorted (as expected by the media 😛) but he himself revealed his wish to work in films this year, so fingers crossed. 😊😊

This news sounds fake, if not then it's catered with extra juicy flavor at least. 😆 However, I do believe KP will get a good opportunity to prove his mettle in Bollywood this year.

Well, the taunting news is fake but the essence is not. So far I know, he'll start giving auditions soon. I think fans can expect good news in 5-6 months and I assume it will be a big one. The famous discontent between him and CVs about the show and the characterization drifted him towards other options; perhaps it will turn out to be a blessing in disguise for him.

Looks like a speculation to me. But it's no secret, right? When KP opted to shoot for his first portfolio after 7-8 years, it's clear movie auditions are on the cards.
