IshRa OS - Broken Promises Broken Relatons

"Yeh Rahi aapki Ruhi Raman." She handed over her Rooh to him hiding her pain in a sweet smile.

"Ab toh aapko mere pyaar par vishwas hai na Raman?" She mumbled before falling unconscious in his arms shocking him when he found his hands wet with her blood.

"Ishima..." A scream from Ruhi made him came back to his senses. Picking her in his arms he ran towards his car. His heart in his mouth; his life in his arms.

He found it difficult to handle his panicking daughter along with his own heart. He wants to stay strong. But he can't.

"Doctor..." Screams left out from his mouth as he reached the hospital with Ruhi in tow.

They took her away. As her fingers slipped away from his hands he grasped them stronger fearing it's the last time that he's going to feel those soft hands in his. He looked at the serene smile she had on her lips and bend down to peck her forehead. He let them take her away worried as if this is the last time he's seeing her.

"Papa, Ishima will be alright na?" a worried Ruhi asked him. He stood there not knowing what to answer her.

"Rooh, aapki Ishima bilkul teek honge. Aap panic mat ho. Papa Adi bhaiya ko call karti hoon. Just a minute." He assured her.

"Adi tum jaldi se city hospital aajao. We'll talk later."

He was worried more about his son than his daughter. What will he say to him? That he had distanced his mother away from him again.

"Rooh dekho papa ki taraf aur batao ye sab kaise hua?"

Along with Shagun; Ishita made Suhail confess his crime. And as the law found Suhail is guilty on his deeds they had released Ruhi and took him in custody for further investigation both on murder and MMS charges.

They were on the court and Ishita held her Rooh in her embrace safe. That's when the police force were taking Suhail to prison. In a quicker action he had grabbed the hold of the gun from a police constable who was standing beside him and aimed at Ruhi. Before anyone can understand anything Ishita turned around taking the bullet in her spine again protecting her Rooh.

Amidst all those pleadings of Ruhi to go to the hospital for treatment she was adamant of handing over Ruhi to her father as the promised time was coming to an end. Thus they both landed outside their society and met Raman. Ishita who was shot ended up falling unconscious in Raman's arms.

Dejected he heard whatever Ruhi had said. Yet again she chose their children over them or is it him who had always chosen their children over them?

"Ruhi tum yahan? Aur aap donom hospital mein kya kar rahi ho? Aur Ishima kahan hai?"

He looked up hearing his son's voice not knowing the answers for any of his questions. He had seen her daughter ran up to her brother and explaining everything to him. And what followed was his eyes met with those accusing glares from his son.

"Adi main..." He wanted to explain to his children whatever he had done was out of anger. He didn't any word he told to her.

"Main aapse baat nahin karna chaahti hoon Papa." Adi showed his palms towards this father stating that he's not interested to talk to him.

Within seconds both Iyers and Bhallas reached the hospital. He didn't dared to look at anyone. Especially on Amma and Appa. He was guilty. He had again snatched their daughter from them. He didn't want to stay between those who was looking at him accusingly. He wanted her and only her. His support system. And there she was lying away from him struggling for her life. He wanted someone to hold him and rent him a shoulder to cry. But there was none.

Seconds, minutes and hours passed. Still there was no news about Ishita. He looked at the ICU's door time and again hoping someone will come out of it and tell him that she's safe. But what he got back was only silence.

After what felt like eternity; finally the door of ICU opened and he ran towards it before anyone.

"Doctor, Ishita kaisi hai? Wo teek toh hai na?"

"See Mr.Bhalla, Dr. Ishita is out of danger but..."

"But kya doctor?"

"Actually Mr. Bhalla your wife was two weeks pregnant and we were unable to save your child. Dr.Ishita just had another miscarriage. And I'll prefer you guys to not inform her about this as this will lead her to collapse mentally as well as physically. And we've to wait for further check-ups till she gain her senses back. I'm really sorry for your loss Mr.Bhalla."

"Pregnant? Miscarriage?" Those are the only syllables left from his mouth.

Again he killed their baby. This time with his words.

"Kya Ishima ki tummy mein baby thi?" He heard Pihu's innocent question.

He heard the loud sobs of her Mom cursing at her daughter's fate. He saw the accusing look in the eyes of both his son and daughter. And all those moments flashed in front of him. His accusations; Her cries;

"You'll never know what I'd undergone after seeing Ruhi in jail. Kyunki; Ruhi tumhari khoon nahin hai"

"I told them that you are not Ruhi's mother."

"I lost Ruhi because of you once again Ishita. Now there's nothing left between us."

He didn't want to stay there anymore but at the same time he wanted to stay with her. Her... She was his priority now and he decided to stay there.

"Why are you staying here? Didn't you had given enough reasons for her to cry? Didn't you again almost killed her with your words?" Adi shouted at him.

He stayed mum not wanting to have a conversation with Adi.

"You are the only reason for all her sorrows Papa. You're the bad omen in her life." Adi accused him for hurting his mother.

"Can't you just walk away from here to let her be in peace?"

Let her be in peace'... Those words rang in his ear again and again. Didn't she once told him that it is in his embrace where she feels being at peace. Didn't she told him once it's him who always matters to her? He still remember those words.

"Aapki aankhon mein nafrat dekhke main wohi mar gayi Raman. Main sab kuch sehen sakti hoon Raman; aapki gussa; logon ke taane maarna par aapki nafrat I can't stand it Raman."

Didn't he broke all those promises that he had given her?

"Main hamesha tumhari saath rahungi Ishita. I'll never let these tears come to your eyes again."

He wanted to mend all his mistakes. He wanted to have a new start with her yet again. But he was helpless. He knows time and again one or other moron in his past will come to them and it'll hurt only her. And now it's his turn to decide that what he wants in his life. Her happiness or his? He will always choose her over him and his happiness. Thus he decided to leave. To leave her with her children. To leave her for her own good. He walked away from his family dejectedly away from those accusing eyes which hurt him so much. He walked away from the hospital premises to the parking lot.

As he reached near his car; he heard his brother calling out to him.

"Bhai, Bhabhi ko hosh aagaya. Wo aapke baare mein pooch rahi hai."

Smiling through his tears he turned around and rushed towards her to renew all those promises again not to break them this time.
