I know you guys must be surprised with this update but I couldn't break your hearts..so updating it. I hope you guys will inspire me. Please don't compel me to discontinue it, if you really like this story.

Part Six

AT NIGHT

Stepping inside the room, Ishita's eyes lit up seeing a beautiful bonding of Father-Daughter infront of her. She admired the duo with a grin and twinkle in her eyes. She had been listening their giggles and laughter since an hour and was enjoying as their mischievious voices echoed in the hall, reaching into the kitchen where she was. Getting into the room to know what has been happening, she couldn't stop herself from admiring them. Standing near the door, she gazed at Raman whose arms were encircled around Ruhi and the little one was hiding into him, telling anything and everything about her life while he was listening her childish banters very lovingly. They were so lost in each other that they failed to notice a pair of eyes cherishing their moment.

"Papa..Rooh, what would you like to have in dinner?" Ishita asked breaking her trance and shifting their attention towards her.

They looked at her standing near the door, crossing her arms to her chest.

"Mumma..I am not hungry. I don't want to have anything please.." Ruhi answered making a cute puppy face as if she knew her mother would never ever allow her for this. She can never let her sleep without having food. Even a little girl of five years knew her mom cares for her beyond imaginations. Meanwhile, Raman kept silent.

"Bad manners na Rooh.." Ishita replied pulling Ruhi onto her lap and caressing her long hair the soon she sat on the bed nearby Raman. "You know na Mumma will get angry if you won't obey your Mumma's orders?!!" a fake angry pout appeared over Ishita's face which made Raman giggle at her. Shifting her gaze from Ruhi to Raman, she looked at him suspiciously as if asking WHAT through narrowing her eyebrows.

"Nothing." Raman muttered assuring her about his sudden giggle, blinking his eyes at her smiling a little.

"Okay but Papa will feed me today..okay?" Ruhi was convinced witnessing a frown over Ishita's forehead which she never wished.

"No sweetheart..Papa is not well na and moreover.." Ishita was cut off with an interjection of Raman when he spoke caressing Ruhi's cheek with his palm, "Okay done Rooh..Papa will feed you."

Ishita couldn't help but admire him locking her gaze with his while Ruhi began jumping in joy that finally she was going to have a gala time with her father, who seemed to be very busy in his works, thus couldn't manage time for his little one.

"Okay so Papa..baby..what would you like to have?" Ishita asked breaking the eyelock, well acknowledged about her naughty daughter who might get a chance to embarrass her so much in love parent.

"Matar Paneer!" the duo said in unison looking at each other.

"Okay!" Ishita walked out feeling satisfied witnessing her little family together and the feeling of contentment was evident in their eyes which made her bring some unshed tears in her eyes, without her cognizance.

Ishita made her way towards the kitchen and began preparing for the dinner happily. She was looking extremely relieved and relaxed..no words could express the limitation. It was just beyond everything. While engrossed in cutting down the vegetables, a long chain of thoughts were ringing in her mind and then she realized how did she handle the situation in evening. She realized she couldn't even imagine a second of her life without Raman's presence. It was just impossible for her. Any mishap to Raman was just untolerable for her. She could not let anything happen to him. She was way too sensitive and emotional in terms of Raman's related issues. Just then, she felt how she had accepted his proposal when she got to know she was in Love and her Love was there in her care, in her worry for him. The recent incident took her to her golden days of her life when she and Raman were taking long to admit their love for each other.

"Ishitaaa.." Alina called out her name in a high-pitched tone so she could realize someone was calling her.

Ishita's steps halted and she turned back facing Alina, her friend. "Yes Alina..is everything alright?" she asked once she came near her.

"Nope..nothing is alright yaar." Alina informed panting heavily as if she had ran a Marathon race. "But what happened and why are you looking so tensed?" Ishita could clearly see tension and stress over Alina's face which made her tensed too.

"Actually..Raamm...Ramannn.." she stopped as tears rolled down her cheek and words didn't escape from her mouth.

Hearing Raman's name from her, Ishita's face took no time to bring lines of worry over her forehead and eyes popped out of fear with tension increasing with each passing second. "What happened to him?" her anxiety came out in a form of obvious question.

"He's in Hospital..he's met an accident yaar Ishu..he needs you..please be with him. He is taking your name even in unconscious state. He needs you..please come with me.." Alina almost pleaded Ishita for coming with her to the Hospital as she was the only medicine which could heal him.

Ishita went astonished hearing her. She couldn't believe the person who had proposed his feelings to her some days ago, was honestly in so much love with her that he had managed to mumble HER name in such a situation where someone becomes too confused to react. A tear rolled down from her eyes in absolute surprise and hidden contentment. She had finally found her true love. She felt so touched. So lucky.

"I want to meet Raman..he genuinely needs his Ish." A sort of declaration of her feelings came out in a statement and both of them rushed to the hospital.

AT THE HOSPITAL

"Doctor..may I meet him, please?" Ishita asked to the Doctor once he came out from the ward and she stopped pacing to and fro in anxiety.

"Yeah but I think he needs the presence of someone who is very close to him..he is mumbling some Issh..Ishita's name. It would be great if you could bring her here." The Doctor recommended after looking out Raman's condition.

"Doc..she's Ishita." Alina spoke immediately after he spoke his words while Ishita nodded lowering her eyes.

The Doctor beamed a slight smile at both of them and spoke before walking away from them, "He's conscious, you can meet him now."

The duo rushed into the ward where Raman was taking rest.

On the witness of his condition, Ishita's eyes blurred with teardrops when Alina took excuse from there giving them privacy to talk their heart out as she realized the confession was not so far!

"Ramannn..how are you?" Ishita managed to ask after having an intense eyelock with him. There he was..laying on the bed looking weak. She could hear him mumbling her name in low tone.

His words froze in his mouth on seeing her there..right there standing infront of his eyes. The moment for him was like all the pain and suffering vanished from him, leaving him absolutely fit and fine. It was the effect of Love. What he needed the most was she..his love, his life.

"I'm perfect..Ishi.." he stopped in middle as he saw her eyes filled with concern turning into a glare while they were making an appearance of thin sheet of tears. She walked to him and spoke, "You don't need to be formal..I know how you are." She caressed his forehead lovingly and continued, "I was just asking to know..if you really love me then you won't need to lie to me. But sadly, you did Raman." She tried to sound sad but she couldn't as she had indirectly confessed her love to him and the spark of sheer happiness was reflecting in her eyes. She looked at him curiously to catch his reaction.

While, it was just an another moment for him to relish. He couldn't believe what she had really said. She had accepted him wholeheartedly that he didn't ignore the smile she was suppressing behind her happy tears. "Ishita..really?" Raman asked again to confirm that he heard correct while tears rolled down his cheeks uncontrollably.

Nodding her head in agreement, Ishita pecked his forehead and spoke, "Yes, I love you stupid!" The soon she said her words, she could see him smiling fully between his tears and in between of all these, the pain of being injured was forgotten a long time ago. Love was absolutely like this. It could do anything and everything which is beyond limitation to our thoughts. It does wonders!

Pulling her to him, Raman made her sit near him and looked at her as if contemplating everything that happened a while ago. Whereas Ishita placed her palm over his and said, "I should have confessed it on the exact day when you had proposed me..but I think I just took time to admit that I too love you. Your love is so powerful and strong that I couldn't help myself to not fall in for you. But I did and I am happy for that. I am lucky to be your love..because I know nobody can love me as much as you do. You...you love me nah Raman?" she asked while sobbing like a kid.

"I loved you Ishita..I love you and I will always love you." He said making her smile.

"I love you too..Ramannn." she felt blessed engulfing herself into him, burying her head in his chest while he reciprocated the hug happily. "And from now onwards, you will take full care of yourself..okay? I cannot manage to see you like this. It hurts you know..it hurts here. I cannot live without you nah..you're my love..my life." Ishita asked him to take care of himself as her heart aches when she sees him injured or in pain. Love for him was something..she wanted to keep safe.

"You're there for me nah..to take care of your Raman." Raman made her blush after pulling him from the hug to look at her red crimson face.

"Yes..I am."

"Ouchhh.." Ishita winced in pain as she was so lost in her memories that she could not avoid herself from cutting her own finger with the knife instead of vegetable. She began caressing it in order to lessen the pain just then Raman approached to her and took her hand under the tap and washing it to wash away the blood, oozing from it.

"Ish..can't you do work carefully? How can you be so careless yaar Ish? I have told you like hundred times to work carefully but you never listen my words..you are so careless Ish." Raman bombarded her with his questions which were filled with concern for her. He almost sounded as if he was scolding her in anger and worry but Ishita could feel his concern for her in his tone. Love dripped out from his soft yet annoyed tone.

A positive curve came over her lips and she looked at him for few seconds without uttering a single word. When he received no response from her, he decided to shift his gaze at her and when he did..his eyebrows got narrowed.

"You're smiling Ish?" he asked as surprise took over him. She was injured but still she managed to bring a smile over her face.

"So what..Raman..you're behaving like I did it intentionally. It's just a slight cut, nothing else." She broke the ice making it clear to him that he doesn't need to worry about such a minor one.

A smile appeared over Raman's lip hearing her. Caressing her finger by lingering his lip over it, he pulled her close to him, wrapping her waist by his one arm. "Sorry Ish but you should be careful na..see.." he paused on finding her staring at him with an expression conveying nothing. He stepped more closer to her and softly planted a kiss over her forehead. Before he could do something else, Ishita broke her stupor and stepped back saying, "No Raman..I am just fine and you don't worry..I am alright. You go and rest, don't burden your arm, pls." She tried to sound strict which was not taken seriously by Raman.

"You come with me.." He dragged her to the room and made her sit on the couch leaving her confused. "What are you doing Raman..please rest na. You're not fine." she requested but he denied doing so and asked her to be silent for a while, blinking his eyes at her.

He came back to her with a first-aid box and sat down beside her.

"You are my life...you have full authority over me..but that doesn't mean you can always win over me..let me do what I have to. I cannot overlook your pain which you always try to hide behind your beautiful smile. Okay?" he let her know that her act of being alright isn't going to work. He loves her so unconditionally that he can feel her pain and will go to any extent to ease that no matter what the circumstance is!

Hearing his words, Ishita's lips crept a smile, allowing him to do what he wants. She was adorning him while he was busy in applying ointment over the cut with great difficulty as it was tough to do it with bare one hand. But he did without asking for her help and there Ishita felt so lucky to have him in her life. He was her solace. The reason of her smile.

"Done now.." he said kissing on her cheek.

"Ramannn..I love you. You know I am so lucky to have you."

"You know what..we were destined to be together, Jaan." He said ever cutely, making her go on ninth cloud.

Yeah..a short update and I know! But I'm helpless guys..though I have decided to keep it on hold but seeing many readers disappointed with my decision, I had to update for them..yeah out of will. I could manage to write only upto here.
