JAB TAK SAANSON KA SAATH HAI
Pihu slept hugging him tight and he fondly kissed her forehead resulting in her sleep to get disturbed with the pricking of his beard. She sprang from her bed and said "aapki daari chubti hai" he chuckled remembering Ruhi had said the same, long back
Dropping Pihu to school, he returned home and called up Ishita.
FLASHBACK
Ishita sat at the threshold, her body too weak to get up. AdiRu came up to their mother and took her to their room. They lay her in bed and hugged on to her tightly. She stroked their hair as Adi questioned
"Kya Papa ki life mein humaari koi importance nahi hai Ishimaa? Kya hum sab, aap, unke liye important nahi ho?" he questioned, crying holding tightly onto his mother.
Ishita caressed his hair and calmed him "Papa hum sabse bahut pyaar karte hain lekin Pihu bhi toh important hai ... woh tum dono ki choti behen hai ... Papa ka Pihu ke saath hona important hai!"
Ruhi looked on in disbelief "Ishimaa Pihu ke saath saath wahan Shagun bhi hai ... kya aap ko fadak nahi padhta ...??"
Ishita smiled "Main koi choti bachi nahi hoon, teenager nahi hoon ke jealous yaa insecure feel karungi Ruhi! Humaara motive sirf yahi hai ke Shagun Pihu ko manipulate na kar sakke. Mere kehne pe hi toh tumhaare Papa Pihu ke peeche gaye. Adi, Ruhi tum dono ko jitni taqleef ho rahi hai, usse kahi zyaada tumhaare Papa ko ho rahi hai magar unhe jaana padha kyunki hum jaante hain ke Shagun, bhale hi woh cheehk, cheehk ke kahe ke woh achi Maa hai, uska yeh jhooth kabhi sach nahi kehla sakta"
AdiRu spoke in unison, "Agar isse humaari Pihu humaare paas aajaati hai, tum hum bahut khush hain!" Ishita engulfs them in a hug!
THE NEXT DAY
AdiRu spoke to Raman over the phone to tell him that they loved him for being the best Papa in the world and for always doing the best for them. Raman felt relieved and felt like a big burden was off his shoulders. He requested his children to take care of his Madrasan not wanting to see a rise in her BP. He strictly asked Adi to take responsibility of the office and asked Ruhi to concentrate on her studies and excel which would make him and Ishita exceptionally proud. He said " I love you" to his children and took blessings from his parents whilst Ishita looked on happily, hoping all would be well!
Upon arriving in Bangkok, Raman realised that Shagun fooled Mani. Asking the travel agency about Shagun he found out she had flown to Australia and off he went ... for Pihu ...!!
A FEW MONTHS LATER
Raman had rented an apartment in Australia and was living two streets away from Pihu who lived with Shagun. Pihu was very uncomfortable in this new environment and had hardly made any friends. She did poorly at school with Shagun neglecting her, splurging the money she'd stolen from Mani. Pihu had become a recluse who was always quiet, didn't talk to anyone but her face always lit up around her Papa's presence. Raman would take Pihu to his apartment and they would have the time of their life together.
Shagun had become a gambler and alcoholic and would come home post midnight having no knowledge where Pihu was. Pihu was happy with her Papa who encouraged her to make friends, made her join MMA. Pihu had become a happier child in her father's presence who had made new friends and opened up. Her teachers noticed vast improvement in her studies. Raman shared this back home and the family was ecstatic! Pihu now also seemed to have started caring about her Dadu, Daadi, Bhaiya, Didi, Bua, Chachu and to Raman's surprise on one occasion, Raman in between talks heard Pihu utter "Ishimaa"
His happiness knew no bounds. Their daughter had finally acknowledged her mother. He took Pihu in a bone crushing hug and Pihu rociprocated
PRESENT TIME
Ishita who had just entered their room picked up their wedding photo frame and stroked her hands over his face. She blew a kiss over at him and just then his name flashed as the caller id. She couldn't help but smile hearing his husky tone asking her to come over to Australia because, he had a surprise ...
