Sorry mam, if you have not seen men crying. But in general, men do. Then what is the way they let out their pain and emotions which are bundled up? May be not all men and may be not in front of everyone. It varies from person to person. Crying is a human emotion mam and is not associated with a gender and criteria. That was my whole point. Sorry if I have offended you. But I felt very bad reading that because it looked as if men who cry are not men at all. That was quite unacceptable for me. Hence my thoughts.

Its no longer a 'man' or 'womsn' thing to cry and show pain..the same way men and women both have careers. .both now have the right to lead independent lives..to make decisions for the family etc...in most parts of the modern world .it is quite acceptable..rather encouraged ..that men express their emotions more freely n too...it's certainly not an 'unmanly' trait anymore...
No offence to you or your personal views..

Men do cry. My father was the first person to cry when he did my kanyadhan not my mother. I think this holds good for all the fathers.

There should not be a comparison here. Some people may be emotionally strong and some may be week. I myself is very week. I can't see any body crying even in shows. And Bhallaji has not undergone what Raman has undergone.

Bhallaji lost rinki.
She was murdered.
Rinki lived with them for close to 23 years.
Maybe most of them have forgotten her.
Yhm has.

My father was not the crying kind(he is no more,I used to be his pet)

I'm that type too.
But my hubby is the crying type.
He cried even the day my daughter joined KG n left home for a whole day for the first time.

Awww. That's so sweet of him. This got me reminded of the tamil film "Abhiyum Naanum", where Prakashraj was so possessive of his daughter and her love for him. I liked that film and cried buckets.😆.
But actually, even now, my father feels very sad and tears up, whenever I am away on a office tour or a training program be it a couple of days or a month. 😆😆. My amma is like "shuru hogaye ye dono".😆😆. I don't know why, contrary to the belief that men are stronger, I have always found moms, wives, daughters, sisters and friends of the other gender to be always emotionally stronger. 😊.

So true Priya. Abhiyum naanum and Mozhi are my favourite films too. Even I cried when I first send maanasa to school. Now when I tell her that she makes fun of me.
