Why Aliya calling Mihir by his name?

Mihir is vey much older than Aliya.Then why is she calling him by his name?Guess in d initial parts she called him Mihir Sir.Now its just Mihir.

Calling the husband by name is common.But Mihir is 15-20 years older than Aliya.

She has no obligation to call him by anything other than his name. There is no relation between them. On top of that she isn't from India. where I am from, we mostly referred to everyone by name (except for in elementary school). At work, and at college and even university sometimes, we refer to anyone even those older than us or who are our teachers by their first name.

I think it's probably because she sees Mihir as a friend and an equal. With everyone else she sees them as being related to her Ishita amma. When it comes to Mihir she sees him more as her friend than as related to Ishita? She's so used to referring him by his name that now it doesn't matter that he is Shagun aunty's brother.

After the bar incident only she started consdering him as a friend.Later only the friendship bloomed.But b4 that itself she started calling him by his name n tum

yes atleast aap was needed.she calls the other middle aged ppl uncle aap aunty.but calls mihir by his name.I expected atleast Mihirji.
