Chapter 2

Hello everyone, after a long time, I'm back with the update. Thank you for liking and commenting :) Enjoy the update and apology for any mistakes.

"Arrey.. i came at a wrong time, i guess it is visiting hour now". Parking was full, raman whining frustated not getting to park his car. After multiple rounds, he finally got to park the car.. he stepped out and went towards the lobby. Suddenly, he felt restless, sweaty, "am i in distress again?" he wondered. A flashback came, 3 years ago, he lost 2 most important figures in his life, a father and brother.

FLASHBACK

'mr raman, you've got a call" said one of the nurse in the operation theatre . Raman told just to ignore it since he was in middle of surgery. Mr Raman Bhalla, one of the best Emergency and Trauma surgeon, he practiced in one of the most established army hospital. You can throw anything to him like chest trauma, amputees, tension pneumothorax, broken bones, he can handle most of them. Finally, he able to checked his phone after finishing 4 hours surgery. " Hello ma, i'm sorry I'm in middle of surgery, what happen? is there something urgent since you call me multiple times.' Asked raman. Mrs bhalla told him the most traumatized news, "raman beta... papa and romi, they met an accident. We are in your hospital beta, please come here fast.." Raman received the shock of his life, running helplessly towards his own emergency department, he kept praying that nothing should happened towards his two souls. "Maaa... are you ok? Tell me, where's papa and romi? Is everything fine?" raman asked frantically, he can't no longer control his emotion. Beforehand, he used to calm patient's family members, but now he knew how much the emotional wave hit him hard.

"Raman..calm down..." general Khanna tried to support him. He accompanied mrs bhalla when the aweful news strucked them. He used to be one of mr bhalla's best friend. They shared the same interest, he used to be the one whom mr bhalla consult for the best advice in his life, he became father-figure for mr bhalla. Finally, the reality knock raman hard, doctor just announced that they unable to save both of the bhallas. Raman became numb, unable to digest the recent news. "Raman..." mrs bhalla shook him out of misery, they shared their painful lost in silent sobs. "I'm a surgeon ma, but I'm useless, I can't even save my own family.." raman cursed himself. Mrs bhalla tried to stop him from blaming his ownself. General Khanna helped to make him understand the situation, raman composed himself and accepted the destiny had been written. With a heavy heart raman accepted the news; In memories, mr bhalla and romi bhalla.. Raman till now lost his faith in his practice. What is the used of him becoming a top surgeon when he can't do the least thing in saving the most important person's lives.

END OF FLASHBACK

The sight of hospital will always brought the bad memory back for him. It is not easy for raman to come out from the shock of his life, but with help from mrs bhalla and general Khanna, he able to cope with it slowly. He decided to stop practising, unable to bear the pressure from it thus he became an instructor. "I'll just return this watch to dadi." Said him while leaving from the hospital.

"For now baby is stable but we will keep a close monitor of him." Ishita explained to the parents after managed to finish long haul operation. "Hello, ishita...mama is here.. ishu beta, nani had been hospitalized..."mrs khanna broke the news to ishita. With an exhausted physical, ishita went to hospital by a taxi since her car was in workshop. "nani...thank god mrs bhalla brought you here fast.. you know na taking insulin and not taking meals is so dangerous, here you have hypoglycaemia.." ishita give a lecture. " " I think you both are careless, you should remind dadi to eat since you know she had no appetite after loosing dada, you should not abandon your meal dadi, dada won't be happy seeing all this thing happened in here." Said raman. Ishita answered, "excuse me mr khadoos bhalla, I'm not a careless person, I'm just tired.." her world became dark and at last she lost it, ishita fainted in the arm of raman. "She need a rest and a meal, her blood sugar level is low." Explained one of the doctor. "Like grandma like granddaughter, both are stubborn" muttered raman. The khannas thanked bhallas family for taking care of dadi and ishita. Mr and mrs Khanna were on the way of picking up things from their home when a call from mrs bhalla telling that they are on the way to hospital due to dadi had hypoglycaemia. Forgetting all of his bad feelings to hospital, raman managed to bring dadi to get proper treatment.

"I'll keep an eye on her" raman offered his help monitoring ishita while mrs Khanna taking care of dadi and others went back home for freshen up. It had been a long day for everyone. Finally, ishita opened her eyes, "where am I ?" asked her. "in heaven beta.." raman gave a sarcastic answer. Ishita gave a glare knowing he kept annoyed her. "Why are you here? Shouldn't you supposed to be in hell if I'm in heaven? Mr ravan kumar!" ishita snapped at him. "This ladki, she had so much of energy to fight with me. Bilkul Jhansi ki rani. Hello, you are in hospital, after big lecture to dadi, you fainted. Doctor said you had low sugar, which means you are not eating just like dadi."answered raman. Ishita realized that she was too tired and skipping her meals due to hectic schedule caused her current condition. Suddenly a nurse came to check on ishita, raman went outside to give the privacy. "Your husband is so good mam, he keep waiting until you became conscious." "Husband? No way that akdoo man will be my husband" muttered ishita. She only gave out a smile trying not to complicate more things. After ensuring that ishita is stable, the nurse went to leave the report for doctor. Raman went back to ishita," seriously, why you are waiting for me in here that make the nurse thinking that you are my husband." Asked ishita. "Husband? Pagal nurse. Ohh, Jhansi ki rani, I'm just trying to be humane knowing your parents are busy with dadi, so I'm just trying to help them dealing with you." Replied him. Ishita was surprised knowing the fact that this full of attitude guy actually willing to care for her. "For a moment can you just stop talking and stuff your mouth with food? Will you?" said raman trying to stop the verbal diarrhea. A tray of meal was served for ishita, "I'm not hungry.." replied her. A loud sound originated from her tummy destroyed her acts. "Not hungry? Really? I just heard a noise sounded like a whale mating. Stop your drama and eat." Said him. Like an obedient child, ishita started to eat. Raman chuckled seeing her antique. "Before I forgot, you left this watch in my car." Said raman while returning it.

Ishita thanked him for everything and he excused himself first to prepare for tomorrow. Knowing the fact that ishita and dadi safely discharged in the morning make him relieved, he went straight to his workplace. "I'm appointing you as the new chief for this new class, you will train them to be the best naval combat diver" raman received his task from his superior. Meanwhile, ishita decided one thing that will change her entire life, which is move in with her nani. "I am sure with my decision mama, papa, I will live with nani here." Said ishita.

PRECAP

"Raman... ye kya? Why is it in your shopping bag?" asked mrs bhalla shocked with the thing she found while raman standing clueless.

"Oh my god! Nani! Dr ishita is dead today.." claimed her after realizing the most awful incident just happened.

That's it for this chapter. I'm sorry for any mistakes.. My other two stories are already on halfway of completing, so I might update it by tonight or tomorrow perhaps. Once again thank you for liking and commenting.

A lovely update!!!
A very sad flashback - so this is why Raman left being a surgeon!!
Hopefully with the help of Ishita maybe he can come back?!?!?!?
