Sorry for the lengthy post guys. I wanted to make it short, but today's episode failed my intentions. 😆
A very good episode where Raman was at his best & made Ishita understand that the path ahead is indeed difficult for them as parents, but he wants her not to lose faith & be a support to him, so that he can clear the mess in their lives & set things right. DT, KP and RD were awesome today. 👏👏
Pihu - Ishita - Family scene : Ishita feels miserable for messing up with Pihu's life. She keeps blaming herself & breaks down crying. Ruhi gets to hear this and feels bad for Ishita. She decides to talk to Pihu. But Pihu stops Ruhi upfront and is in no mood to talk to Ruhi because Ruhi takes Ishita's side always. Pihu throws away the glass of water which Ruhi offered. When Pihu tries to go away from that place, she walks on glass pieces and gets hurt. The doctor attends to her and tells the family that the kid is in a lot of stress & is missing some one and needs to be taken care of. Ishita decides to call in shagun as she is not able to see Pihu in that condition.
Pihu has already started distancing herself from Ruhi by assuming that she would only support Ishita. It is not sure if shagun installed this thoughts or the kid spoke on its own. . We will have to see how difficult it would be for Ruhi to help IshRa in this whole track.
Also to me, the difference between the kind of mothers Ishita and shagun are, was clearly visible. While Ishita is ready to give up even her rights as a biological mother, just for the welfare & happiness of Pihu, Shagun is a disgrace in the name of motherhood, who never thinks twice to make the life of the kid miserable, just to satisfy her ego and happiness under any circumstances.
Shagun - Raman phone conversation :- Shagun tries to call Raman to know about Pihu. Raman behaves as if all is well and tells her that Pihu has went to school. When Shagun asks him permission to take Pihu with her in the evening, Raman rejects it saying that they have planned for a movie in the evening and she can take her home next day if she wants.
Raman did not want to inform shagun about Pihu's condition thinking that shagun coming over there would only complicate the existing situation. A wise decision I would say.
IshRa scene :- Ishita feels that as a mother she cannot afford to have an ego and decides that Pihu should be with shagun, as she cannot see Pihu in this condition. She tries to call Shagun. Raman comes in and snatches away the phone. He tells her that he knows what she is trying to do. He makes her understand that shagun can never ever become what she is and she is indeed the best mother in the world. He again repeats that shagun is not a good mother, but she is. Ishita disagrees and says that she is the worst mother. She says that Ruhi lost her childhood because of her, Adi was left all alone because of her and Pihu is in such a state because of her. Raman stops her and says that the mother who doesn't bother about her life to save the life of the kids is definitely the world's best mother and she is one. He tells her that she was the one who taught his kids about the meaning & value of a mother. He tells her that Pihu is their daughter and that kids do get distracted but as parents they have the responsibility to bring them back and assures Ishita that they will handle Pihu and make her understand. They hug.
It was a lovely scene. I did feel that Raman realized the extent of hurt and pain that his harsh words 7 years back has on Ishita. He is trying his best to correct it, makes her understand that she is the best mother one could have and that she cannot lose heart and give in because of these small untoward incidents. DT was fabulous in this scene and KP was equally good.😊
IshDi scene :- When Adi brings in the medicines, Ishita asks Adi to bring shagun for the sake of Pihu. Adi disagrees saying that he would not go. He asks her when she doubts that shagun is the kidnapper, what was the need to bring her back? Ishita convinces him to go and get shagun considering Pihu's plight. She tells him that she definitely knows shagun is behind all these, but shagun did it because of the love for Pihu and PIihu loves her equally and Pihu needs shagun by her side then. Adi reluctantly agrees. Ishita asks him to be careful that Raman does not know about it.
Adi was sensible enough to not agree to Ishita. But Ishita managed to convince him to go get shagun. He was not happy with the decision and it was kind of visible when he went to get shagun.
Pihu-Raman-Ishita scene : Pihu gets better. When people try to cheer her up, Raman comes to talk to her. When Pihu is about to talk to Raman, Ishita comes in. Pihu gets angry and starts shouting at Ishita for always coming in front of her. Shagun comes from behind and stages her drama.😡😡. She tries to show everyone that she has Pihu under her control, especially to Ishita. Ishita tells shagun to let her know if she needs something. Pihu hits back at Ishita saying not to teach her mumma what she needs to do. . Raman gets angry and he takes Ishita from there holding her hands. Ishita gets disheartened seeing the hate Pihu has for her and Raman consoles her and holds her. Shagun feels jealous and comes over behind them to stage her drama. Raman takes Ishita from that place and leaves.😔
IshRa scene :- The poignant scene of the day. Raman tries to cheer up Ishita. Ishita asks him to leave her. He says that he can leave her only if he has caught hold of her. 😊. He tries to lighten her mood and reads her palms. He calls her a wild cat who lives for 150 years and troubles others. Then he tells her that her husband is a handsome man whose name starts with "R". Ishita is still distressed and asks him does it not tell that his wife is very bad and destroys everyone life.😔
Raman gets angry, pulls her up and tells her to stop the self-blame & self-pity act of hers. He tells her that he is also in pain seeing all this in front of him. He tells her that he is caught between Ishita and Pihu's condition, because he loves both of them dearly and cannot see them in this condition. He tells her that it hurts him to see her in pain, but just that he is not showing it off. Ramant tells Ishita that they used to lead a happy life, when she used to be his strength, when she literally fights like a tigress for the sake of her children against the whole world, when she fights against him for her children. He asks her if she gives up and become vulnerable, how would he be able to handle everyone and the situation all alone? Ishita realizes the truth in his words, apologies to him for being vulnerable. He asks her to better be sorry for this thinking of hers. They hug.
This scene was so poignant, emotional & sensible.😳😊. I loved every word that Raman spoke to Ishita. He reinstalled the confidence back in her and made her realize that she is indeed his strength and that he cannot fight this battle alone without her support. I guess this talk from Raman was much needed & would make Ishita shed off her guilt towards Pihu. It would be interesting to see how she handles shagun from now on. KP and DT were mindblowing in this scene. 👏👏. Looks like KP's one-liners are edited out, thanks to the editors kalakari. 😡. I guess they are more interested to show the ShaNi SR at length.😵
All in all, a very good episode with positive signs towards IshRa's equations & relationship.
