Yeh Hai Musibatein

Moving away from the genre of a typical romance, Yeh Hai Musibatein showcases the problems of one saintly woman and the obstacles in her multi faceted love life in a very unique manner, and deals with contemporary issues in a groundbreaking new way. The story of Shagun, her providential escape from her domineering husband and the sacrifices she makes for his family, his second wife and her children, is presented in a nuanced and sensitive way never seen before on Indian television. The acting prowess of the titular heroine (although somewhat let down by the supporting cast) will leave you spellbound. Not to be missed. 10/10.

Looks like Raman is coming up as #3 (almost #2) for whom this show is about and Ishita as a close #4...I'd love to hear the POV as to why this is the case 😳

It is more focussed on Neelu than Raman I think 😆

I mean the least focus is on Raman in terms of both - progress of the storyline and character growth. He's the lead, so he's there, but neither has there been any focus on his PoVs, nor is the character given any meaty stuff to do. It is only because of the actor's nuanced performance that we can still see Raman as, well, Raman. Show wise - He's quite unnecessary 😛 Even Neelu gets monologues than him 😆
