Rashi was not negative. She was a grey character. Radha,Gaura, Monica & Nayya are vamps. Arnav had goodness in him. I don't consider him as a villain. Shyam is the real villian in ipkknd. Daadi was the real vamp in ipkknd.

Well written.. i agree villains play the role in moving the story...
But just a small note.. arnav was not the villain in ipk... if being an angry young man taking decision makes him a villain i dunno what shyam did...😆

And further if u think arnav was enough a villain then raman does the job well here too 😆😃 honestly i would prefer these guys to shagun and tanu 😆

Agree with you antagonist s are as important as protagonists when moving a story .. I don't know much about other serials but IPK and Yhm are two I have followed and Shyam and Ashoke/Shagun/Parmeet in 2013-2014 time frame were just awesome as they truly made an impact to the storyline without being the storyline. But mostly Ashoke has been turned into a stupid villain , Shagun lost in the shade zone and their roles have become predictable and more of a comic relief or irritating presence. Parmeet is one character I miss the most as Anurag was spot on in his creepiness in expressions.
Coming to calling Arnav a villain.. I have to politely disagree with you.. He was dark to begin with but even though they pushed the boundary... They showed his softer side in his interactions with Anjali to balance it .. He was a well sketched grey character and though the creatives in Yhm continuously failed Raman's character by butchering him from the original sketch, the cvs of IPK kept ASR intact ...Raman and Arnav are two uniquely sketched characters in male protagonists area in Indian Telly.. Unfortunately the former got butchered due to slot change and latter was too short lived .

Rashi was a very well written grey shaded character in saathiya perhaps the best ever
Shagun was fab as grey shaded but cvs ruined her character badly after the AsMi track

yeah what can I say
Villians we love to hate them
no villians there would be no heros to bring them down
have to say though one villain that stood out for me was Sakshi Goenka from ek hasina thi I mean at end of series even though her son was exposed n they all were arrested she still boasted to durga that she would win n she would fix everything for her good for nothing son talk about denial 😆

i know this is not related to YHM, but I felt sad when she dint get award for negative character in GA.. I guess, last year while other less deserving one got this award. There were not anyone else who was the most deserving for that award. But, anything for best buddies I guess😉.
