Love this thread. @Maya,@Shivangi and @Aman and @swatica, like your reviews a lot. Raman does not have any dialogs, all of us try to interpret his expressions, and lucky for us, KP lives Raman Bhalla character and brings all these subtle nuances to his character. It is a credit to his acting, that even after the crass dialogs, we are all rooting for his redemption and realization of his mistakes and start clearing up the mess along with Ishita. Ishita has realized her mistakes and she is atoning for the same in bringing the family together and Ruhi back to where she belongs. Other than that she is not expecting anything, it is for Raman and Ruhi to claim her back, as she knows she has wronged Raman by leaving (it is the aftermath but still staying away for that many years..leaving a new born, but we know that Pihu has to be the same age as real Ruhanika).
In spite of it being both their decision to do the exchange, Ishita will feel more guilty as she was the last person to have Ruhi with her on the cliff and failed to bring her back in spite of her best efforts and indirectly responsible for the torture and lost childhood of Ruhi. She came into the Bhallas for Ruhi's happiness and being the gentle, empathetic beautiful soul that Ishita is, it is devastating that she brought so much pain to the little child and the family. It would have been a beautiful track if Cvs focused on child abuse and after effects instead of the crass dialogs to a 14 yr old. This is hard to digest, because however angry you are on your mother, disrespect and insulting is a totally different ball game. Kids insulting and elders staying mute has always been like this with Bhallas. Adi's case, Ruhi's case and now Pihu. They bend over backwards for the kids and the kids take advantag of this. This brings in TRPs🤢 because the FL lead cries. ML is shown as helpless. Ishita is finding some little bit of light in this dark situation, to boost her morale..not throw in the towel and just leave..she cannot afford to let Ruhi go to Nidhi at any cost. But what values..so in anger kids can insult elders and talk disrespectfully..Pihu asking a guest to go away in front of everyone is ok..the sisters love each other so much..Ruhi's "IS AURAT" took all my sympathy from Ruhi's suffering..She has seen Raman utter lot of nonsense at Ishita and now she is doing the same..but kids crossing a generation and saying such stuff is so not done and why the dig at Mihir just because Ishita is supporting him...
Shagun is not worth mentioning. SHe does not have confidence on her love because she knows it is selfish. Raman tends to overlook or disregard one kid over the other..he was confident of Ruhi, so he overlooked her feelings sometimes when he was obsessed with Adi. Now he is confident of Adi, so he disregards his feeling..and pushes/slaps him around and now he is focused on Ruhi. Once Adi and Ruhi are all sorted out it will be Pihu/Shagun drama. Emotional blackmail, Ishita trying to go away..etc. Ruhi does not want Ishima to go away from the Bhallas, because she knows without her the house will be broken, no happiness..so why come to the Bhallas. In nafrat also she wants to be with Ishima, cannot stay away from her..she wants Ishima to know how much she has suffered..and wants all the pampering she can get. But without Ishima in the house, she is not going to get it because Shagun does not have in her to heal Ruhi. Without Ishita, Raman will not know how to heal Ruhi also. Both need her..Ishita needs the unconditional acceptance from Raman to heal..
Ranted too much, not sure I made sense. @sunitas & @Raji - love your comments on the episode. @Viji - miss your reviews also.
