I loved the reaction on Raman's face per se...but I am not amused by his jealousy because it does not automatically translate into love!

I mean its 2016 and this kinda MCP behaviour cannot easily constitute love...I'm sure many others diff on this count

Today, to be honest, I did smile a bit on his one--liners...not the dialogues per se but his expressions...u cud say it was situational comedy

but yes, I want none of this to be brushed away in the name of comedy..

that will be such a disservice to this issue

wife-abusing is a serious issue

so this time if Raman really wants Ishita, he will have to prove it to her he is worth her time and effort

I will make a minor correction to what you said - the whole world knows Raman loves Ishita...except Ishita, and Raman himself

He is behaving like this wild bull right now because it hasn;t struck him he loves her...still...its because he is too busy believing his anger to be his hatred for Ishita...a bit convoluted, but yeah, that's what I think

He is not pretending he hates her...he genuinely believes he hates her because of whatever happened 7 yrs ago...and that's why it hit him like a 200 ton boulder today when he heard the news of Mani and Ishita's marriage...he ended up drinking like he did because he couldn;t accept this information could hit him the way it did

I think he is going to suffer a great deal in the next phase of the story. And en he will swim in a pool of guilt and think he deserves it. They made Raman almost unrecognisable to everyone including ishita, and the real Raman will come to the fore in the most heartbreaking, messy way. Drowning in guilt and feeling like he doesn't deserve the love of his life - It's so weird naa! Both Ishita and Raman fall into guilt trips far too often, almost to the same degree...😆😆

I agree with what you say about Raman bringing Ishita alive...she has been more alive in Delhi than she ever was in Aussie land😆

but I also think he needs her to feel like a human being himself...they both need each other...

its hard to quantify the love each has for the other...their styles are just so diff😆😆

Ishita can stand by him like a rock, no matter what, and her love is the strong and silent, sacrificing, all-absorbing types

Raman will holler and go to war if need be, but walk around like an empty casket on eggshells simply because she isnt around him

I think we shall agree to disagree. I think he knows he loves her. He just thinks now she's alive he has all the time in the world to be angry at her first. yes he sees red. There is anger everywhere. But I think even he knows he can't truly refute he loves her

But that's the beauty of these discussions. We watch the same show,yet see slightly different things.

I do agree with everything else.

As I said before, I love your posts, please continue with the humour. You are hilarious😆

that's the thing with YHM...even when I have a POV, ur POV also kinda makes sense😃

blame the CVs for lending this 'touch' to Raman's character graph that we are all getting pulled in differing, opposing directions

but yes, it cud also be that he feels he has all the time in the world to throw his weight around her...like I said, he just assumes she is there and she will be there...

but if tomorrow if he were to come to know she's leaving for good, or worse, actually getting married to Mani...he would surely lose his marbles

it wudnt be an aberration to say his love, jealousy and ego are all mixed up and he is sippin this heady cocktail right nw without an idea of what's happening to him😉

Oh God...she can SEE that the legal husband-wife are snugly sleeping together, and yet, she goes and touches Raman on the arm waking him up

Raman is jealous!

If he is so jealous of Mani-Ishu bond, then why is he marrying Shagun?

If he was going to marry Shagun again, then why did he divorce her in the first place and marry Ishita? now he has two wives and might ruin 2 women's lives yaar!

It feels like he has SPD or Bipolar Disorder I don't know!

Right now I am not liking the dialogue writers yaar!

They are telling us to judge a woman on the basis of whether she can birth to a child! Really? Is that all we are worth guys?

Don't get me wrong, I realize that you guys allow us women to work outside the house but still.

If a woman can't give birth to a child, it doesn't mean that she is a bad omen! Many of my friends are adopted kids from orphanages!

They are also human beings, don't treat them like machines with only one function in life: take care of family, husband, kids, and giving birth to kids!

I just remembered one of the dialogues from Season 1: During the episode where Ishita had applied for adopting a kid (before IshRa marriage), and in return she got an answer saying:

"We are very sorry to inform you that you can't adopt any kids from our association because you are not married yet." or something like that.

Which country has a law that states that a person can't adopt a kid if he or she is not married? I am not criticizing anyone, just trying to figure out where all these stereotypes are coming from.

This question has been bugging me since YHM started. I am not a law student but I have been researching and looked through many law books and talked to lawyers I still haven't found any such law in any country?

Anyone know?

Oops too long! Sorry for the long monologue but I am trying to figure out Raman's mindset which is confusing? I am trying to figure acceptable society behavior and not getting any closer to figuring it out regarding this topic!

Parents should encourage their sons to respect women in general as their mother is one.

I don't see it happening through the CV's at this point in time!
