So what's next after the 'besharmi ki night'.
Just thought of a post, rambling, light hearted argument . whatever you want to call it. ...please take it b in that spirit only. Its by no means a judgement or serious analysis.š
In all honesty, for all the crap cvs are giving us - I am thoroughly enjoying drunk biwi and befuddled puttar. And the bonus of boldness and innuendos in tjhe sanskaari slot. So much for lollipops..if this is what cvs have in their arsenal , I would happily accept the whole damn lollipop factoryš , in place of any logic (which anyways we are not going to get, so why waste precious brain cells)!..but then what after this. So purely put off curiosity sake..here goes..
After yesterday's episode this is where our main leads and some permanent extras stand...
Ishita : Thinks she wants to be with her kids and family, feels like she is getting weaker and wants to run away again before she does something untoward. .or try and mess up things more... (her own words)...and better still she believes that Raman has changed so much that he can never change back...she almost has completed given up on him..
So her decision - going back to Australia but only after finishing her professional commitment. .cough cough...drink launch party. Mani's drink launch i mean..ooops.. did I miss something. .so how does ishita land in Raman's event...hmm dunno...never mind..
On day zero, looks like ishita is still in pain but determined to go back and she does something which will have far reaching repercussions. .she drinks and loses her senses..and her strong resolve in the processš
Raman : For few fleeting seconds in yesterday's episode i saw Raman melt. Esp when ishita said she does not want pihus custody and that a ll this is affecting the child badly, his eyes said a lot of things in that eyelock. I may be wrong here, but looks like the ice age is already ending in Raman's world..and it looks rapid..because he seems already in regret mode. Looking at what he has lost or in the process of losing while looking at ishita and ruhis pics and then his apparent jealousy hearing of ishita agreeing to marry mani.
So what does he do on day zero - looks like the ice around his heart thawed..because he actually 'rescues' ishita and handles her away from prying eyes. Come on -for all the venom he has been spewing i was half expecting him to blow his top at ishita attempting to sabotage his party and try call mani or aliya or mihika to take her away. But instead he does what he always did - protects and shields her. ..hmmm...and handles her all by himself...and thus does something he hasn't for quite a while post leap, sheds his defences, anger and well also clothes...šš
Shagun : Yes, she is going to be pivotal to the crap which is upcoming, as if we didn't guess it long back. But the bestest news is , that she is already grey/black, the moment she 'used' pihu against ishita yesterday.
Think of how much worse things could have been if she was still white and the 'besharmi ki night' happened. She would have played martyr with glee...but no more. Her game is up, at least for the audience, people on the show will take much longer.
So as on day zero, Shagun is already playing games to protect her turf while pretending to be jagatmata, till she walks in on something she might have never dreamt of ...š
Mani : Still playing best friends while waiting in the wings for the first sign of Ishita finally 'green lighting' him. He has hit upon a goldmine with the pihu custody case but for all reasons he has still not told ishita about the discussion with bala. Clearly he is playing his cards close to his chest.
So as on day zero, the knight in shining armour actually takes the beauty to the beasts lair..ouch...wonder what his reaction would be after he learns of 'the nights event s'. From the way he reacted after witnessing ishita and raman lost in each others eyes after the dance, let's assume it ain't going to be pretty.š„±š
For all purposes I am going to assume that this event, this crazy night of besharmi and losing
Control between Raman and Ishita could be a turning point in a lot of ways and for a lot of relationships.
Let me try and put out the good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good :
-Ishita and Raman both needed a let out. A let out of all the pain, anger, helplessness etc. What better than a drunk make out session. And some totally brainless banter. Yup I would have loved the night to turn intense at some point and both thinking of each other but i don't think cvs want to play that card so soon.
But in all honesty it's more than visible that they needed each other to sleep in peace. He didn't look tormented after ages and she felt secure cuddling in with his arm for a pillow. At least for a few hours - both were home, and no...no words were needed. A picture does speak a thousand words. Will they realise it..not so soon i guess.
-Raman seems obviously confused at his own actions and the facade is slipping faster than he can hold onto it. And then he got to witness ishita in a vulnerable, not so sane state - and it's obvious she is certainly not 'over' him. Her feelings were totally visible. I hope cvs don't do a memory wipe out of this scene too and show raman remembering his paagal madraasans antics to seduce him.š³
- Ishita hopefully realised that Raman did actually 'care' for her. Something she has been doubting a while now. Plus I guess her own feelings came out in the bargain. Hope she thinks hard after she gets over her embarrassment.
- Shagun got a rude shock, (unless she had a hand in this 'act' along with ashok). And yes, this will peel away the pihu ke liye , layer for good. Now it's only 'raman ke liye' and I am waiting for pihu to tell raman what happened in the hospital. Which will pucca happen. .!
Plus would shagun have ever imagined her behenji best friend capable of this with her soon to be husband- a big no I guess..so I am going to enjoy her plight.. yup sadism rocks!
- What could also be epic would be the 'after effects of this night' on ishita and raman. Could their dynamics now change with the awkward awareness that while they both claimed they no longer 'needed' each other, but their heart and subconscious mind were saying something totally different . Some alcohol in the system and they both had actually let loose all their inhibitions and their desperation to be with each other was out in the open.
Can we hope for some long eye locks, some stolen glances and a lot of fbs.
The not so good :
-cvs have a truck load of drama left in their kitty in the meanwhile. Ruhi's truth, pihus custody and of course the 2 marriages. Now what will be in ishras favor and what won't is very tough to guess
The bad and ugly :
- Shagun is going to use this one slip from raman to ransom everytime raman drifts towards ishita. This will go on till pihu or adi brings her ugly deeds out...phew that is going to be a while of shagun reminding raman of her sacrifices etc and raman trying to uphold his word to marry her and give her izzat in the community. Plus will the public knowledge that shagun and raman are not married make shagun use pihu again to fast track her marriage especially if she suspects ishita and raman rekindling their love? š„±
- Ruhi can still go either ways. Pro IshRa or manipulate. Plus nidhi and ashok can make merry in this mess.
-Ishita Mani marriage might be on the cards. Esp if either Shagun or Ashok let's the story of this night be leaked, either in public or to the iyers. There is vandu bala already waiting to get her away from raman and hitched to mani.
Would ishita agree in guilt and embarrassment of crossing the line and 'hurting' shagun. Yucks i hope not...š¤¢

A funny thought to end this rambling session. ..
So Toshiji witnessed raman at ishita's house on the night of the lift scene and suspected he had an affair and she kind of knows that raman spent the night at ishita's house...
Will she ever kindly mention it to shagun once she returns...so shagun can know that this was not the first time her 'would be husband' was Sleeping with her once upon a time bestest friend. Oh well that would be a treat won't it., her expressions i mean...šš
