colalges were d points i liked bout todays ishra scene..
raman had a lone tear in his left eye..wich ws stuck dere itself..though his words dnt match his emotions..bt ds tym his words r only heard by raman..n ishita cannot c his emotions anymore..his words 7yrs back hv closed her eyes n alos her heart..neithr she can feel nor she can c raman's emotions..she can only hear him aftr dose harsh words..ishtia has closed her heart n so her emotions r also nt visible to raman..n he can only c wat is shown.. her actions..he has becum blind to her emotions..n can c only her actions.. 7yrs back... n nw too..
Interesting though but this is IshRa and their love languages in action.
Raman has always shown love through words
Ishita has always shown love through actions
At the start of this show - that's what each needed
Raman needed someone to be there for him in all senses as he tried to face his past, keep his family together, and so on.
Ishita wanted to feel needed and cherished and that is what Raman did - he cherished, praised, and elevated her to the most important figure in his life.
Then Ruhi dies. Hearts close. So now...
Raman only sees her actions but not her emotions, unspoken hurt as he could see before bc his heart is closed & unable to search for more than the fact he believes her actions speak her emotions the most.
Ishita only hears his words but not his emotions, unspoken hurt as she could before bc her heart is closed & unable to search for more than the fact she believes his words speak his emotions the most.
Like you said - bc they've closed their hearts to protect them from further hurt - a couple that used to pick up on every subtle emotion of the other have become blind to each other
But now they need something else from other
Raman needs words of reassurance from Ishita
Ishita needs actions of reassurance from Raman
Ironic no?
(Now if the CVs think an ounce this way is the million dollar question)
