Chapter 23
"Do you love Ishita??" Shagun's sudden question made Raman shock.
Raman : What?? Have you gone mad Shagun??" He laughed and looked away to avoid the topic.
Shagun : Oh come on Raman..!! Be serious.. Your face is saying everything. You love her right??
Raman sighed and looked at Shagun : Shagun you know in which circumstances we got married, so there is no space to ask this stupid questions. I know she can't love me, and I too have no hope from this relationship, she only love Ranveer bhai..."
Saying this, he again looked away, his face was sad, anyone can say it how much he feels dejected thinking this when Shagun put her hand on his shoulder.
Shagun : Don't be sad hero.. I know she loved Ranveer..!! But you know she LOVED him...
She stretched the word Love... Raman looked at her sarcastically asking : What do you mean??
Shagun : Ummm... I don't know Raman whether I am right or wrong, but I guess Ishita has also some feeling for you, she has developed some feelings for you. She was with you from last few months, she took care of you and your family, don't you think it's possible. You know when I was with you.. I saw her becoming restless which we simply called jealousy...
Raman shook his saying : No Shagun.. This can't happen.. I am staying with her from last six months, if she has any feelings then I will be the one who get to know it first. Anyways leave the topic here and listen don't you dare to say her about my feelings for her. Get that??
He warned strictly when Shagun asked : Your feelings..?? Still you didn't tell me properly Raman.
Raman : What do you want to know Shagun?
Shagun : Nothing. But you are doing wrong by hiding your feelings from her.
Raman didn't bother to reply her and he left...
Shagun saw him leaving and mentally smiled thinking : Pheww!!! My hero, you do believe or not but the truth is you both love each other and I promise one day you.. yourself will tell her about your feeling. And that's my promise.
Raman was walking down from stairs when he remembered about Shagun's word, the sentence 'Ishita Loved him' rang in his mind.
Raman : Does Ishita love me???
He murmured but in next moment he realized what he is thinking.
Raman : Hold on!! Hold on!! Why am I thinking about her? Do I love her..?? Wait...
He stopped at middle thinking : I never thought anything like this, then why did I get sad when Shagun asked that... Do I started falling for her..!!
He closed his eyes and remembered Ishita's smiling face, their cute fights, usual bantar and a curve came over his lips.
Raman : Yes I like her.. But love??
When he heard Ishita's voice so he opened his eyes and found Ishita was standing in front of him.
Ishita came close to him and put her palm on his forehead asking : You are fine no..??
Raman : What??
Ishita sarcastically asked : With whom you are talking??
Raman widened his eyes : I.. I...
He was stammering when she asked : Whom do you like??
Raman : Umm.. NO.. Nothing, I was..!!
He felt so nervous, seeing him getting nervous, she asked : Are you okay Raman..??
Ishita moved her eyes behind him when she found Shagun was standing at top..
Shagun climbed down asking : Raman.. Why did you come from there suddenly??
She held Raman's arm and looked at Ishita asking : Ishita if you don't mind can I talk with your hubby alone??
Ishita looked at Raman with a hope that he wouldn't go with her but he didn't say anything and she fumed and replied with a fake smile : Yeah sure..
Shagun dragged Raman from there when Ishita looked at them going & fumed.

Shagun dragged Raman outside there house. Meanwhile Raman asked various questions but she was least interested to answer.
Raman : Why did you behave like that??
Raman asked while removing Shagun's hand from his arm.
Shagun replied with a nostalgic smile : Arey hero.. You are so dump..!! I was just checking her. Does our closeness affect on her.?
Raman : ..And what did you see??
Shagun mischievously smiled and looked up at Raman's room where she found Ishita was stalking through the window, she intentionally put her arm around his neck saying : Well.. well, you will get to know when you go inside your room my hero..!!
She said while rubbing his cheeks, and looked at Ishita who left the window fuming whereas Raman gave a whatever look and removed her hand from him.
Raman sighed : You and your stupid ideas.!!
He said and leaned against the car and thought for a while, then asked : Hey Shagun, do I love her??
Shagun looked at him smiling and hit on his arm playfully asking : Stupid.. Who is Raman Bhalla.? Me or you??
Raman looked at her when she continued : Of course you right?? Then why are you asking me?? Your answer is in your heart.
Raman looked at her confuse when she took his hand and put it on his heart saying : Now close your eyes and ask to your heart. You will get your answer.
She added with a smile. Raman did but immediately opened his eyes and said : I can't see anything. It's full black.!! That mean I don't love her..
He said with a smirk when Shagun hit on his arm saying : Do it later.. I am sure you will get answers. Now let's go inside. Ishita is waiting for you with pyaar bhara gussa..
And they walked inside the house.
As soon as Raman walked in the room when Ishita threw a pillow on him but he catch it on time.
Raman : Hey!! What's wrong???
But without saying anything Ishita started throwing pillows on him.
Raman : Madrasan.. Madrasan..!! What happened..!! Did you get attack again..? I told you to visit doctor.
He ran to her teasing and hold her hand tightly.
Raman : What happen??
Ishita released her hand from his grip saying : Why did you come here?? Go and spend your time with your Shagun..
Ishita turned her face another side when Raman remembered Shagun's word and smirk.
Raman : Are you jealous??
He asked when Ishita turned at him saying : Of course..
Raman looked raising his one eyebrow, she continued : Not.. Of course not.. But I am your wife Raman. You should give your quality time to me.
She sadly said.
Raman : But we went out today only. Then??
Ishita remembered the whole day and she shook her head and said : You never understand..
She made annoyed face and was going to leave when Raman caught her hand and pulled her close, she hit on his chest, they were so close.
Raman : Tell me clearly Ishita .."
He politely said and Ishita looked at his eyes, they shared an eye lock but Ishita came back to her sense and pushed him saying : Don't try to be over smart..!! I am angry on you..
She left angrily when Raman smirk and said : Jealous!!!

Everyone having their dinner, Raman looked at Shagun when she asked 'what' with her eye and winked. Ishita noticed that and she put the spoon on plate with a sound, Raman looked at her fuming face.
Raman : Amm.. Maa give me one paratha...
Raman offered when Toshiji gave him and he took the ketch-up bottle and draw a sad face on paratha and showed it to Ishita, she fumed and gave whatever look. Raman silently ate, meanwhile Shagun was watching then and trying hard to not laugh. After a while Raman again took a paratha and wrote 'sorry' but again she fumed and hit on his foot with her sandal.
Raman : Ouchhh!!!" He screamed in pain.
Toshiji looked at him and worried : What?? What happen Raman??
Raman glared at Ishita whereas Ishita showed him to say and enjoyed her food.
Raman : amm.. Maa.. Wohh.. woh.." He was stammering and to avoid this topic he coughed.
Toshiji : Ishita puttar.. Give him some water..
But before Ishita gave it to him Shagun willingly gave it to Raman. Ishita looked at Raman furiously and he closed his eyes as he knew she was fuming in anger.
Toshiji : Ok.. Ishita, listen puttar.. As tomorrow is Holika dahan, so I want you to make every preparation correctly.. It's your and Raman's first holi.
Ishita : Yes mummyji, I will arrange everything..
Shagun looked at Raman-Ishita and said in her mind : This holi will be the best holi for you both, I promise..

Raman walked in his room at night when he saw Ishita was sitting at the edge of the bed, reading a novel and the bed was messed with pillows. Raman shook his head and walked to bed and started adjusting the pillows when Ishita snatched the pillow from his hand and again messed the bed.
Raman : Madrasan, I know today you get attack.. I promise, I will take you to the doctor tomorrow but please not now. I am tired.. Don't irritate me now..
He irately spoke when Ishita closed her book and looked at his with narrow eyes asking : Oh really Mr. Bhalla?? But as far I know you didn't went for your office today.. Oh yeah!! I got it... You were so busy with your so called friend na!!! That's why, you are tired..
Raman looked at her for sometime then said : Madrasan..!! don't start again.. I told you sorry..
Ishita : And I don't want your sorry... Anyways, I made your bed on couch.. So go and sleep, after all you are tired. Good night and sweet dreams.
Raman : But you sleep on couch daily.
Ishita : Yes. But today its your punishment to avoid me. Now if your enquiry is done then let me sleep.
She yawned and faked a smile at him and slept on bed spreading her arms on Raman's side, so Raman couldn't sleep there. He looked at Ishita irately and walked towards the couch when Ishita tilts her head up and grinned when Raman looked at her instantly.
Ishita : Umm.. Please turn off the lights Raman!!
Raman made faces and irately asked : Yeah sure!! Anything else madam??
Ishita shook her head as no and slept, Raman gave her dangerous look and then slept on couch after turning off the lights.
