I don't know how the new Adi is as I have not watched the show after leap but your character in depth analysis was very well done.

Thank you so much Maya! I haven't seen the show since a long time, but so far it seems like Abhishek is doing well as the grown Adi from what I've heard! Glad you enjoyed the write up!

Yes adi has come a long way. Has both the qualities of Raman and ishita. Today he became the father , Mother and a friend to raman, his dad who was completely broken. What a transformation.

Thank you so much! Adi seems to be the perfect example of Ishita and Raman's upbringing and to me he seemed more like their child than their other children, however their daughters also have their own reasons to not be like them. Adi's transformation and his current behaviour is what made me write this down since he has come a long way from the child who didn't let Raman tie his shoelace to helping his hurt and broken dad today.

New Adi is my fav character
He is jst like his ishima 😛

Thank you so much! I would have to say from the written updates that this Adi is my favourite character before and after the leap. But for me, he is a bit of his Ishima and a bit like his father.

Yeah, true, but if it weren't for the leap, I am sure that his character would have become pretty messed up as well, like when they introduced the Vinnie girl

Thank you so much! However I don't think his character was messed up during the Vinnie track because he did act like a normal teenager, and every way of parents, every child has some flaws who came out in the track. As of now his character isn't messed up and hopefully CVs keep him that way though I can see scope for making him not such a pleasant character again.

Now the same Ruhi in the clutches of Nidhi has lost her identity the affection and care and ablity to guage others. She has been drugged insensitive...she is hurting and is willing to hurt.

Adi was salvaged from a messy childhood and given an identity which he is now living up to. A character who embodies the care and affection of his Ishima who is now a mere memory.
Pihu receives affection... her papa dotes on her that lives a reminder of them he lost. She is obsessed with her serials and the lack of firm upbringing is evident.
Each of Raman's kids represents what they lost and how that shapes who they are today. Raman by saying the old Raman is dead is reduced to represent hate as he lost the two that taught him to love.
Very interesting characterisation despite the contrived twist and turns in the plot to top the chart.

You're absolutely right! I never thought of the three children in this way, and you brought another perspective on Ishita and Raman's children. They have each gone through different childhoods and have all been brought up different making them all so different! Thank you so much for showing me this new perspective on these characters!

He is truly ishra's son

Thank you so much! Adi has grown up to be very matured and responsible. He's really changed imself from the hate filled young boy he was when he was first introduced to what he is today. His understanding of everyone's situation amazes me as he blames no one and tries to fix the problems. As you said he is Ishita and Raman's son and that clearly reflects in his behaviour!

Well written post

Yes I liked Adi character even when it was negative , because I can't hate any character , above all it is kid character. When cv turned this character into positive , we didn't witness much of it .

Now , he is matured , caring young boy.
Finally cv has done justice to this character atleast.

👏

Thank you so much! I didn't like Adi's character in the beginning nor did I hate him, but over time I think as he became a more realistic character and one that grew and matured, he's become even more likable! He is the one character in this show that the CVs have justified and they deserve credit for his character as of now!

Thank you so much! Adi is the best character for me after the leap since he's someone that can be related to and it's a pleasant surprise to me that while everyone in the Bhalla and Iyer family seems to have anger filled in them after this leap, but Adi holds no grudges instead tries to bridge the gaps between the two families! He really does deserve to have his Ishima back, he deserves his complete family!
