In evening ishita entered her house and found raman sitting there,having good time with her mother .They were chatting like they are friends from ages .Ishita glared both of them and was about to enter her room when Raman stopped her and spoke " Miss iyer I m here to thankyou ".
I( narrowing her eyes)- for what .
R- I wanted to thankyou for advocating my case against the owner of this land .Thankyou somuch miss iyer .
Ishita smiled sarcastly and the spoke making a dirty face " thankyou bol diya na ,chai nashta ho gaya na now get lost and mind it ,my mother is naive ,you can fool her by your over sweet talks but not me .got that now just get going from here and never come again ."
Raman ( turning to maadhvi)- aunty you people behave to your guest like this .
M- no no kanna ,just wait ( scolding ishu)- ishu whats this ,did somebody talk to guest like that. Say sorry to him .
I( angrily) - no ways amma ,he want treatment like this only ,I am behaving so badly then also he has not gone yet still standing like shameless person.
Saying so ishita made her way to her room.
Raman made a sad face and spoke " its ok aunty seems your daughter don't like me,so i m leaving but before that i want to say something ,i truely love your daughter a lot and will always wait for her ".
Saying so he started to leave ,Mrs iyer ran to him and stopped " no kanna ,don't feel bad about her words she is a bit childish and arrogent .please don't mind her words ,you just sit for a while I will return after a minute."
Mrs lyer followed is hit to her room and scolded
" what's this ishu ,why are you being so rude to him ,he is a good boy ,he loves you and want to marry you ,that's why na .but kanna just think in today's world who loves someone like this that he left his crores of project only for a girl".
I- amma he is fooling you ,I know he is a shrude businessman ,he knows very well that he can't win over us thats why he left the project not for my sake ".
A- no ishu ,I can see truth in his eyes ,he is not lying.
I- and I can see his cunning ness in his eyes.
A- ishu he is such a good boy ,I want you to marry him .
I- you very well know amma that I don't like him a bit ,forget marriage I don't want to befriend with him .
A- but you are advocating his case .
I- its not because of him but his lawyer ,he seems to be a genuine person than Raavan bhalla.
A- ( scolding )- ishu .
I- amma I don't want to argue more ,please go and take care of your NEW KANNA.
she told this stressing in the word kanna and entered the washroom .Amma went out to have some more talk with raman .They chatted for some more time then raman left from iyer house .
Two three days passed it has became Raman's routine to send flowers in the morning to wish iyers a good morning and in evening he use to have evening tea and snacks with iyers .Mr iyer also started liking him along with amma but ishita never give a damn to his prrssence in her house .
One more week passed ,mihir and pathak went back to Delhi leaving raman alone in chennei.Raman faked to iyers that he is here to visit some more sights and lands as he want to start his new project of mall and amusement park asap.Now ishita also started liking his presence but she never showed this to her parents as if she will say anything her mother will start pressurizing her for marriage.
One morning his flowers didn't reached iyer house ,amma didn't thought anything but ishita immediately noticed this and spoke " thanks god no flowers today seems your Raavan bhalla has gone ,lagta hai chennei raas nahi aaya .( seems chenbei didn't suited him)though she was telling this pretending to be happy but deep inside she wanted know that may be her amma has some information about him but to her disappointment amma and appa also don't have any information about him .
The day was restless for her ,she was trying to concentrate in her work without thinking about Raman but ended only on his thoughts she a bit angry on him that he went away without giving any information about his departure and he pretends to love her .Any how the day passed and she drove towards her home hoping to get some information about him .
Ishita entered in her house ,it was unusually quite ,from last some days when she enter her house she was welcomed with Ramams sweet smile and her ammas chat but today it nobody was there I'm living room ,she searched for everybody and found amma in kitchen ,appa has gone to market and nobody was having any information about raman .In last few days raman has become an important part of iyers,the moment ishita entered the house amma went to her ans spoke concerned" Ishu i know you don't like raman but kanna i m verymuch worried for him ,he has not come from yesterday ,even he hadn't inform anything ,you must be having his number ,call her and ask is he alright ."
Though ishita herself so wabted to call and know about him but still she denied and spoke
" why you are so worried amma ,he must be alright ,why do we bother about him if he don't have any time for us .i mean just giving a call anf informing that i m leaving take howmuch time but your comment Raavan bhalla is too busy for that also .
She spoke it angrily as she was having a mixed emotions for him ,a bit of sadness that he didn't bother about her anymore ,a bit of anger as he didn't informed about his whereabouts ,a bit of worry about his wellbeing ,a bit of longingness as she was missing him .
A- aiyoo ishu don't say like this ,just call him once .
Ishita just wanted some push ,she immediately pulled out her cell and called him ,he picked the call after two rings and she heard his very weak voice " hello ".
Ishita so wanted to alk to him but due to nervousness that he may come to know about her feeling ,she passed her cell to amma .
Amma talked to him and came to know that h is unwell from last night ,,he is having a severe stomachache and was throwing up from last night after having dinner .Amma got worried like his own mother and told ishita take her to him.ishita did same ,both mother daughter duo reach his hotel room and saw him laying in the bed ,looking very much weak .
Amma Caress's his hairs lovingly and asked
" how is you kanna ".
R- now i m ok but lil weak .
A( concerned )- but how did it happened.
R( making a puppy face)- actually I m here for last ten days ,nobody is here to take care of myself and also I m eating this hotel food that's why only.no need to worry aunty soon I will be ok ,you don't bother yourself .After all I m a stranger for you ,don't be so worried about me .
He was talking this to amma but was looking at ishita ,who was standing beside amma stealing glances at him.
A- why you are saying so ,actually I have an idea ,you come to our house live there for some days so that we care take care of yourself and your health will also improve .
R- actually aunty that's a great idea but you know ,somebody in your house hates me like i m her enemy and also i don't want to bother you.
A- no no I don't want to listen anything ,you are coming with us .
R- ( immediately)- okay,aunty if you are so worried about me then how can't I deny you .
Saying so tried to got up from the bed but was about to fall due to weakness when ishita supported him in the nick of time ,looking to his condition ishita was also convinced that he is actually sick ,she told him to rest and she will pack his stuffs .
After sometime trio reach iyers house .ishita supported him to take him to walk from car to the house .she then took him to guest room and settled him on the bed and was going out of tge room when he spoke " thankyou somuch miss iyer ,thanks for your support,if you would have not supported me I would have been fallen ".
Ishita for the very first time spoke softly to him
" no need to thank Mr bhalla,"
R- I m not talking about this support but the support you have given me in my business .
I- I don't get you .
R- actually ,if you had not showed me the right path ,I would have been trapped in this fake land deal and had incurred a huge loss along with somuch bad wishes of the society people . Thanks for showing me the right path Miss iyer.
He spoke this trying hard to be genuine.
I- its all right Mr bhalla ,no need to thank me .i was trying to help my society.
R- ( forwarding his hands towards ishita)- can we be friends .
Ishita thought for a while and gave her hands to him ,both shook hand and raman spoke again
" by the way Mr bhalla sounds so old you can call me Raman ."
I- and you can call me ishita ,now you rest for sometimes ,till then I will help amma.
Saying so she went out from the room while raman changed his expression.
R( smirking)- now here I trap you miss ishita iyer .you actually get me right but little did you know that i m not only a devil but also a very good actor that i trapped you in my innocent act.Now you will pay for that 1000 crores which i lost because of you and not to forget that slap.you insulted me in front of so many people now its my turn ,get ready sweetheart .you know me well but not fully ,no body dares to raise their voice in front of raman bhalla and you slapped him ,so I have got a very different punishment for you .but i m feeling very sorry for your parents because of you i m playing with their emotions. But I can't help it out its because of their own daughter ,she is the ultimate culprit for all this I m not uncle and aunty.
Thinking so he smiled devilishly.
Some two three days passed ,one evening when ishita return from her office some ladies from her society were standing and chatting , spotting ishita they called her ,she walked to them .
L 1- congrates ishita kanna .
I( confused)- congrates for what .
L2- don't fool us ,now we all know your secrets .
I- secret ,what secret .
L3- that you are going to engaged with that handsome businessman who is now living with you people.
I( narrowing her eyes)- who told you a this ,these are fake news.
L1- ishu no need to hide kanna ,your mother herself told that your engagement is day after tomorrow.
Ishita anyhow escaped from the group and reached her house.she called her amma angrily
" amma amma ".
Amma came out from hervroom and asked why she is shouting like this .
I- amma what is this ,what these society ladies are saying ,why did you told them that I m goungvto marry raman ,don't you know how much I dislike him .
A- ishu don't over react I want you to marry raman .actually i was goibg out when i heard ladies were talking bad thibgs about you and raman .
I( shocked)- what .
A- yeah ,i was going to market when i heardsome of ladies they were saying somant things ,that why raman us living with us ,how come he took back his huge project ,we must have done something to him ,you and him must be having some bad relationship ,I couldn't take it anymore so it skipped from my mouth that you people are going to be engaged soon .
I- amma what's this let them speak ,we know we are right .uff amma why did you do this and you spoke without thinking about raman ,how will he react about this news .
A- no need to worry about him I had asked him ,he is ready .
I- but amma I m not ready .
A- ishira I didn't asked you ,I m ordering you
I m your mother ,I think I have that much right on you and listen till the time you will accept your engagement i m not eating anything .
I- amma you are forcing me .
A- you are free to think anything but I want this engagement to happen as I want to shut the mouth of those ladies who had badmouthed by daughter .
Ishita walked dejectly to her room with slow steps as she was stuck one side she want to fulfill her mother's wish other side she don't want to marry raman .
