Unless of course, Raman wanted to fake Ishita's death to make NIdhi believe she is dead. Also may be he convinced NIdhi that he can kill Ishita himself thereby proving to her that he never loved Ishita.

But also note, ACP came to Bhalla house later.There was elapsed time. Raman could have called ACP too. may be that was a signal for ACP to go inquire about Ishita thus making it look like he does not know about Raman's plan. Surely Raman had help in all this...and ACP might be the person helping him. We all know ACP has no work ethics from bhoot track. LOL...so may be he feels Ishita was innocent and he will help Raman prove it.

How can a educated person like NIdhi believe that Raman loves her immediately after pushing his wife to death? There is a missing piece there...or the CVs are maha donkeys.
