Chapter 16
Ishita stormed inside their room and found him sitting on his couch, playing in PSP... He was so relaxed. Raman once looked at her and then concentrate on his game but Ishita kept staring at him, lots of questions were running in her mind.
Her gaze was irritation him, so finally he broke the silence : What happen Madrasan? Why are you staring at me?? I know I am looking more handsome today but don't stare at me like this!!
She glared at him and laughed a little : Handsome?? It's a joke of the day!! And by the way you are asking me what happened?? Don't you know what I am thinking??
Raman stopped playing and looked at her with narrow eyes : How can I??
Ishita : Raman don't act so innocent. Whatever happen today, do you know how much it affected on maa? How can you be so calm, they were threading you Raman!!
Raman calmly looked at her and said : It seemed you are scare more than maa... Is it??
He raised his eye brow with smirk which made Ishita more furious : Raman why don't you understand..."
Raman : Sshhh!!! I understand everything Ishita. And I told them no I will start the project. Relax!! Don't worry. Everything will be fine.
He politely said and helplessly Ishita nodded.

At night,
Ishita was pacing restlessly here and there in hall. Toshiji came in hall and saw her worried.
Toshiji : Ishita what happen?? Did Raman reach??
Ishita : No mummyji. I am just waiting for him. You go and sleep!! I will serve him dinner once he will back.
She assured her and Toshiji was going to leave when they heard the footsteps. They turned at the direction, "Raman." Toshiji uttered his name in shock and they both hurried to him. His head was bleeding little. Ishita supported him.
Ishita : How!! How did this happen?
Mihir who was with Raman said : Nothing bhabhi, it's just an accident.
Ishita : First you take him to the room.
They all went to Raman's room. Mihir made him lay on the bed when Ishita gave him some water.
Toshiji worriedly asked : Mihir!! How did this happen??
Mihir : Nothing auntyji. His car crashed a truck!! But nothing to worry.
Toshiji : Raman I always told you don't drive after having drink, but you never listen to me!! Now see what happen!!
Raman : But maa I don't...
Raman said while wincing in pain. "Bhai you.." But Raman shook his head negatively.
"Neelu!!!" Ishita shouted his name.
Neelu walked in saying : Yes bhabhi?
Ishita : I don't want to see any wine bottle in this house. Do you get that??
Ishita fumed in anger.
Raman : Madrasan!! you...
But he stopped as Ishita looked at him with bold eyes. "Keep your mouth shut Raman. Otherwise she will eat you alive." Raman self thought.
Ishita glared at him saying : What Raman??
Ishita's voice brought him back : Umm!! Nothing you carry on...
Mihir and Toshiji giggled when Raman looked at then frustrated. Ishita turned at Neelu and yelled : What are you waiting for? Do it fast.. And listen!! take this one.
She handover her one bottle which is kept aside. Again Raman was going to say something but Ishita glared at him with anger. She was all ready ready to fire on him.
Toshiji chuckled saying : Only Ishita can deal with you puttar!!
Raman was going to get up from bed but winched in pain, Ishita helped him to get up.
Ishita : Mummyji you go and sleep. I will handle.
She gave her a assuring smile and Toshiji left. Ishita then brought the aid box and started cleaning his wound when Raman staring at her. Suddenly her eyes met with him, they shared an eye lock when she said : Don't stare at me, I will not melt.
She said and put a bandage on his wound, Mihir was smiling seeing them together.
Ishita : You take some rest. I will bring dinner for you.
She got up when she heard him saying : Mihir get a bottle for me.
Ishita turned at him fuming : Don't you dare Mr. Raman Bhalla. From today I won't allow you to drink and Mihir if you help him then...
Raman : Then what I..S..H..I..T..A!!
She looked at him surprisingly : Then.. Then I will not talk with you both!!
Raman : Oh that's great!! Mihir now please get two bottle.
Ishita looked at him disbelief : Do then.. What you want..
She left the room leaving behind smirking Raman.
After having his dinner Raman was going to get up from bed when Ishita asked : Where are you going??
Raman looked at her confused and replied : On couch!!
Ishita : Uhh!! Umm!! No need to sleep there. You!! You can sleep here. I will manage on couch.
Raman : No!! You sleep here, you aren't well. I will manage.
Ishita said with little rage : Shut up!! You will catch back pain. I even saw you couldn't sleep there comfortably. So you are sleeping here.
Raman replied adamant : ..And I won't allow you to sleep there.
Ishita looked at him and their eyes locked for sometime. Raman broken the eye lock saying : Umm.. If.. If you don't mind we can sleep on bed.
Ishita looked at him surprisingly, Raman continued : If you don't mind then because I won't allow you to sleep on that couch.
He said politely and Ishita smiled and nodded, they both lied on bed.

The sunlight peeped inside the room through the window and fall on Ishita's face straight. She twitched her eyes as the sun rays disturbing her and she turned her face another side and slowly opened her eyes and looked at the clock. It was 9AM. Ishita jerked from her sleep and wake up : Oh god!! It's too late!!!
She said and turned Raman's side to check him, but he was not there. "I think he left for office but why didn't he wake me up then? And.. He was not well then why did he went out today?" She was thinking and took her towel and went to the bathroom but the door was locked from inside. Ishita knocked the door : Raman!!
Raman : What happen Madrasan?
Ishita : You? Didn't you go for office? I thought... Anyway please fast. I am getting late. It's already late!!
Raman : But yaar Madrasan it's not my mistake!! You were sleeping so late then what's my fault??
Ishita stomped her feet as she knew very well there was no use of arguing with him. So she waited for him to come out. After few minutes again she knocked : Raman come fast no!!!
But he didn't reply, she irately said : I am warning you to come out otherwise I...
Raman peeped his head out from the bathroom and asked : Then what M..A..D..R..A..S..A..N!!
Ishita fumed and went out from the room, after a while, Raman shouted from inside : Ishita.. Ishita..
She replied while walking towards the bathroom : What happen R..K.. B!!
Raman : What the hell Ishita? Open the tab damn it!!! I am getting late.
Ishita : Oh really Mr. Bhalla?? If really you are getting late then why are you taking so much time??? Huh!!
Raman : Okay!! Fine... Now please open the tab.
Ishita came more close to the door : What... What.. What... What you said? I didn't hear!! Repeat once!!!
She giggled when Raman fumed : Please Ishita!!!
Ishita : Okay wait.
She then came out from room and ordered Neelu to open the tab. She again came back to room saying : Now I am counting 1-10 and you have to come out within this time... 10 - 9- 8-...
She started counting.
Ishita : ...-4 - 3 - 2 -..
She turned at the door when she hit with his muscular chest. Ishita looked at him, his hair was messy and water droplet fall on his shoulder from hair and the towel was around his neck. Their eyes locked for sometime when Raman eyeing her to ask 'What'...
He flicked his eyes asking : Now don't you get late??
Ishita turned her face : Amm.. Uh!!
She hurriedly went inside the bathroom and closed the room and in next moment she opened the door saying : Don't you dare to close the water tab...
Raman faked a smile : I am not cheap like you Madrasan!!
He replied and Ishita closed the door giving him whatever look.
The days passed with their nok-jhok, teasing, leg pulling, care, concern and sometimes love - which they never realized.
On a such day,
It was 8 in the evening, Ishita was in her room. She had cooked all the dishes favourite of Raman and hers too, on Toshiji's insistence. But he was still not back. Ishita was sitting in the room, recalling her moments with Raman and that thought bring a smile on her lips, but suddenly the accident were came on her mind and her smile flew away, she looked at the photo of Raman and again remembered their marriage and all. The thought vanished from her mind. formally or with a huge smile. Suddenly, her phone rang. Ishita picked it up hurriedly without checking the screen, "Hello!" She blurted out with a huge grin. But suddenly, her smile shed down hearing the voice. The eyes that were glittering with excitement a while ago, widened with a terror and finally, a scary tear rolled down. She sat still stunned in terror and fear while her mobile slid down through her hand on the bed...
