Part 3
It was about one month after ishra meeting.That was a random meeting and after that ishra never met again amd also they never develop any feelings for eachother.
Ishita was having her university exams when one day her mother called her.ishita picked the phone and talked.
I- hello amma,how r u .
A-i m fine ,kanna ,how r u.
I- I m also good ,how is akka and appa .
A- both are fine ,listen ishu ,you have to be here day after tomorrow.
I- amma ,how can I .you know my exams are going on.
A- ishu ,day after tomorrow ,a boy is coming to see shagun .you have to be here.
I- amma ,I have my exams so let me concentrate on my studies moreover the boy is coming to see akka ,so why I should be there.
After having some more talks ishita hung up the call .
Ishita iyer was younger daughter of Mr viswanathan and madhvi iyer .Mr iyer was a central government employee. They live in delhi whereas ishita studies in mumbai. Ishita has two elder sisters vandita and shagun.vandita was a professor and was married .shagun doesn't have much interest in studies so after completing her graduation ,she was trying her luck in modelling and acting .Though her patents didn't like her decision a bit but she never listened to them.
Worried of shaguns behavior her parents decided her marriage. They thought that after marriage she will drop her dreams of modelling and acting.Mr iyer started looking a suitable and good alliance of shagun.One day one of his friend ,told him about bhalla family who was looking for a beautiful and educated girl for their elder son raman bhalla who is a well known CA in Delhi.
Mr iyer was very much impressed with Raman's personality when he came to know that raman had chosen his own profession instead of involving him in his father's business. Soon both the families talk and decided to see the meet.
Bhalla family visits iyers, both raman and shagun liked each other.They both agreed for marriage. Their family decided to do engagement on the same date as after today their was not any ospicious date till one month and raman wanted to marry shagun as soon as possible because he liked her very much in the very first sight.
The engagement happened on the same date and marriage was decided after one month
Ishita came to home after her exam was completed. She saw Raman's pic and recalled their meeting .she was surprised to know that her akka was getting married to same person whom she hugged accidentally one month before.she was wondering that its mere coincidence or anything else.she got little bit jealous with shagun but that shrugged her thoughts.
The marriage date was coming closer ,vandu has also arrived .ishita noticed that raman was madly in love with shagun.they use to talk almost whole day.
Now the marriage day has come .shagun was dressed in bridal attire and was looking breathtaking but ishita was looking devine in her simple look also.ishu and vandu were teasing shagun when somebody informed that the baraat has arrived.They ran out to see the baraat and left shagun alone in the room as bride is not allowed to see groom until marriage.
After enjoying the dances of baraat and seeing raman both the sisters enter the room laughing .They smile vanished in the next moment when they didn't found shagun in the room.Both ishita and vandu called and searched her every where bug didn't found her.Atlast they sat all exhausted ,finding shagun. At the same time vandus mobile rang ,she picked the call immediately as it flashed shaguns name.
V- shagun where are you .
S- akka i got a very good opportunity to became a show stopper in a fashion show which will be in london,so I m going to London.
V(shocked )- what .
S- yes akka ,I m going to London .
V- and what about marriage .
S- call it of ,or or tell ishita to marry him as she liked him very much .
V- don't you love raman .
S- I love him but more than him I love my career ,bye akka.
Though vandu tried to convince her to come back but she hung the call and switched off her cell.
Vandu was sitting glued to her place like a statue.ishita shook her and asked the matter ,she narrated everything to her.both the sisters got worried.They were not getting any idea ,what to do. They decided to talk to their parents ,but both Mr and Mrs iyer were busy with relatives and guests.They were looking so happy and contended.vandu went to her appa and ishita went to her amma .vandu was trying to talk but appa saw he was sweating and breathing heavily.vandu held him and let him sit in a chair nearby.she wiped his sweat and give him his BP tablets as his bp was getting high due to excitement and tension as a his daughter was getting married .vandu didn't have heart to tell appa anything ,she came back to room and started thinking any other idea to overcome this situation.
On the other hand ishita also tried to talk to her mother but she was very happy and was praising her son in law and his family. Ishita say her and tried too but amma didn't come to her to listen ishitas talk.she also came back to the room dejected.
Both the sisters sat together and tried to think some idea.suddenly vandu recalled shaguns words .she immediately turned to ishita and told her same .ishita was shocked listening to her words.
I- akka ,what are you talking ,how can I marry him .he is akkas would be husband how can I.
V- but ishita we don't have any other option. See amma is busy with relatives and appa is not well moreover if we call of the marriage it will not good for both the families .ishu we have to think about them also .just think if we will tell that shagun ran away what will be appa and ammas situation. I m fearing about consequences of it ,if something happens to appa ,no no ishita please .
I- but akka ,think when he will know that he didn't marry shagun but me .then.
V( caressing ishus cheeks)- you are so beautiful ,well educated and good ,may be at first he can be a bit angry ,but he will surely fall for you .He is a good guy ,he will understand our situation.
I- but akka I m very scared ,I can't do this.
V- ishu we don't have any other option.Think about both the family,see their family will also be defamed along with us .think about raman ,after knowing that his bride ran away how will he react.Ishita please now everything is in your hand.
Ishita was not ready and vandu was convincing her when they heard knock at the door .Amma was calling them ,she wants to check shagun .vandu slightly opens the door peeps out and says that shagun is in bathroom ,they will be there after a while.
After amma left vandu came to ishita and said " ishu please get ready we don't have much time ."
I- but akka ,how will I go .I mean everybody has seen shagun akka ,her face .
V- don't worry I will manage it.
Vandu dressed ishita in bridal attire .she was looking so beautiful .Vandu put a black mark behind ishitas ear to take evil eye.A single tear rolled from her eyes .vandu signalled her and asked " what ".
I- no need for that akka as nobody is going to look me .
I( st)- I never thought ever that I would marry like this .I will be the only bride ,whom her parent will not admire in her bridal attire ,I will be the only bride who will hide her face from everyone ,i will be the only bride who cannot show herself to her friends so that they can feel envy .
Vandu was dressing her , ishita was thinking all this and tears were flowing from her eyes.
V-( cupping her face )- ishu what happened kanna ,why are you crying.
I- I m very scared akka .
V- don't worry everything will be ok .we are doing this for everbodies good.
After a while a girl came to call them ,botbthe sisters came out .vandu holding ishita ,while ishita face was covered with veil.ishita was holding vandus hand tightly.
They slowly headed to stage.Both of them reached the mandap.Raman was impatient ,he wanted to see his bride dressed in bridal attire but became sad seeing her in veil.
After rituals of kanyadaan when ishita sat beside raman ,he slightly leaned to her and asked ," why you are hiding your beautiful face in this veil ,I m just dying to see you as my bride."
Ishita was in fighting with herself ,that should she speak or leave when vandu came between them and spoke " actually raman ,there's a problem ,we don't know how but some black spots have suddenly occurred in shaguns face .May be some some allery or reaction of some make up stuff but really its not looking good ,that's why she is hiding her face in this veil.
R( concerned)- is it looking very bad.
V- don't worry ,she had medicines it will be fine till tomorrow.Raman please be little careful ,so that noone can see her face .please.
Raman nodded ,whole ishitas eyes were teary. They took pheres .Raman tied mangal sutra on her neck and put sindoor in her partition under the veil so that not only anyone but he also didn't saw her face.she closed her eyes to feel his touch while a tear rolled from her eyes unknown to her and fells on his hand ,raman wiped it and held ishitas hand tightly to assure her " don't worry everything will be alright ,I m with you".
These words from him gave some encouragment to her but she was very scared.
Ishita instead of being happy was crying and was worried ,about the consequences.
That's all from now ,I know its a sad part but its a part of story ,hope I had written up to mark.enjoy reading and do comment
