Part 24
Ishita headed to her room looking her mothers suspesiously sensing that they are hiding something but cannot figure it out what.
Looking to ishita's lost figure ,mother's send vandu and simmi with her as they will help her in dressing .
Trio reached the room .After reaching the room ,ishita held vandu's shoulder and spoke " akka please tell me where is raman ."
V( slattering)- arey ishu you are worrying unnecessarily, auntiji told na that raman has gone to take surprise gift for you as today you are going to be announced as his wife in public.
Ishita was not convinced with her sisters words,she moved to simmi and asked same question to simmi.
S- oye ishita are you mad ,bhai us your husband ,why should we hide anything if its connected to him.now enough of your banter and jaasoosi ,stop being jagga jasoos or bhai will kill me when he will find you like this .He will tell "oye lambu meri ishhh ko abhi take taiyyar nahi kiya".(oye lambu you hadn't dressed my ishhh yet).
Saying so ,simmi and vandu laughed to lightened the atmosphere but cannot as ishita was not yet convinced.Vandu passed ishita her dress and said " ishu hurryup now go and change without wasting time ".
She spoke this in a go ,not giving chance to ishita for speaking anything further.ishita halfheartedly took the dress and walked to changing room.she came out after a while in her red lahenga with green chuni .it was a beautiful lahenga with golden work .vandu tied her long hairs in a beautiful bun and decorate it with Jasmin strings .ishira wore simple yet elegant matching jewellery. She had left a strend of hair ,because she loved the way her husband tuck it behind her ears.
After dressing , simmi and vandu bring her out to show ishita to their mothers .They all looked at ishita ,she was looking devine in her simple yet gorgeous look.Toshiji immediately come forward and put a back mark behind her ears and took evil eyes ,mouthing " kinni sondhi lag rahi hai kisi ki nazar na lage.( looking so beautiful ,wish nobody puts evil eye on you)
All were praising her beauty but her whole mind was on raman .she saw that Mr bhalla and bala sitting with them.without wasting time went to bala and asked " jiju have you seen raman ,where is he ".
B- oh ho ishu ,don't be impatient ,he will be coming shortly with your gift.
I- ( angrily) - leave it jiju ,how can I expect that you will tell true to me .I just don't get that ,if he has gone to bring some surprise for me ,why you people are not happy but looking worried ,why you people suddenly stop talking when I come.come on jiju,I m strong enough to listen anything about raman .Tell me if he is in some trouble or something .He is alright na.
B- Trust me ishu ,raman is alright and he will be here after sometime.
I- after howmuch time .He is not in home till afternoon ,you people were also missing ,mummji and dadi was almost crying ,amma was consoling them and you as telling everything is alright.
Before bala could say anything he recieved a call from appa ,he went out to pick the call.
I- see you people are telling everything is alright ,then why jiju has gone out to.pick appa's call.
Mr bhalla ( consoling )- nothing to worry ishita .you go and rest ,after sometime we will go together to party hall.may be till then raman will also arrive.
She like a good kid obeyed her father in law and was leaving for her room.
She had just walked a few steps ,just then bala walked in the hall .Mr bhalla asked him " what he was telling .
B- appa told me to call our lawyer and inform him everything.
Mr bhalla - had you called .
Bala - yup ,but he is saying that anything would be done tomorrow.
They were talking when they heard ishita again .
I- I m telling,something is wrong with him but you people are not telling me .now tell me what's the matter.
Listening to her alma scolded her.
A- ( angrily)- ishita its too much ,how u are talking to everybody.is this your manner.
Listing to the scolding of her mother ,ishita couldn't take it anymore and ran to her room.she bolted the door and started crying .
After sometime her amma came to call her but she denied .
Amma ( knocking the door)- ishu kanna come out, its time to leave for party .
I( angrily)- no I m not coming .first tell me where is raman.
A- no kanna we cannot tell anything ,as its a surprise. We promised him .
I- no amma ,you are lying .
A- ishu don't behave like kid .don't you trust us.
I- I do trust you people but not this time ,u people are hiding something.
Amma turned to toshiji and said " we had tried our level best not to tell her but now she is not listening or believing anything.
t - I think we should tell her.
T( knocking the door )- OK ishita puttar ,open the door I will tell you everything.
The door opened at the same moment but before toshiji can say anything they heard a knock at the door.simmi went and opened the door .
They saw Mr iyer and raman standing together.
Everyone looked at them with teary eyes while ishita went forward and showered numerous questions to him .
After she was done seeking to get some answer but he was mute .she looked him deeply but he was mute.ishita get angry not getting answer from him.she went to her room stamping her feet in floor and closed the door again.
Everybody looked at him helplessly .Raman signalled everyone to leave for party and assured that they will join them shortly.Everybody left the house leaving ishra alone.
After they left raman went to their room and knocked the door .He waited for sometime but got no answer .He again knocked the door and this time also he didn't get any response.He tried for few more times but everytime she avoided .
At last he thought of something and didn't knock but beside knocking ,he stood aside silently.
Raman knows her very well .He know that she will surely open the door to look that whether he is still there or left.As per his thinking ishita opened the door angrily thinking that how can he left the place without answering her question and without wooing her.
Raman was standing just beside the door ,he held her hand and pulled her to himself .ishita directly landed on his chest and he engulf her in a bone crushing hug.At first she struggled to free herself but gave up knowing the fact that he will never loose his grip on her.she also hugged him back and cried a lot .Raman was also crying but the difference is that she was crying loudly in his embrance knowing that he will sooth her but raman was crying silently as he don't want her to know where he was.
After crying for some min.,raman pulled her from him ,cupped her face and spoke " what happened ish why are you crying ."
Ishita hit him in his shoulder and asked " where were you .I was so scared ,was asking to everyone but they were not giving any satisfactory answer to me."
R- arey I was gone to get some surprise for my jaan as today she will declared as mine in public.
I- you are also lying .
R- and why u think so.
I- because you are also stammering and also I want to know that if you were gone to have some surprise for me why everybody was behaving weirdly.
Raman looked at her and tucked the strand of hair which she has left for him and wiped her tears which were rolling flowlessly from her eyes.He pulled her closer and bent to capture her lips for kiss but she stopped him in middle and said " RK don't try to change the topic as I will not forget this so easily .I had died several times in these hours praying for your wellbeing."
R- I m so sorry Jaan if I m reason for your tension.
I-no jaanu you can never be reason for any of my tension but I just want that I should know where and how u are.that's it.
R- I m here na ,then why this worry jaan ,chalo give me my clothes I will change and we will leave for party soon.you know party is for us and if we will not be there it will not look good na.and you also decorate your face as you are looking very scary in your smudge kajal and liner.
Listening to this she hit him and he went running to dressing room for changing his clothes.
He changed in a black sherwani with golden churidaar and red & golden Dupatta.when Raman came out from dressing room he saw ishita standing in front of mirron going her last touchups.He went to there and stood behind her .They looked each other though mirror and shared a beautiful eyelock .
R( not breaking the eyelock ) - umm someone is dressed to kill me .
Ishita elbowed him while he slid his hand in her bare waist and pulled her to him,she closed her eyes to in anticipation and moaned his name .He turned her to him and pressed his lips on her for a passionate kiss .They were fully engrossed in these passion world when his phone rang.They broke apart and he picked the call ,it was his father calling them in party hall.
They composed themselves and headed towards party hall .
They entered the hall hand in hand .They were welcomed with the rain of rose petals .They walked towards the stage which was beautifully decorated with different flower of different colours.
They walked to stage ,raman climbed it and forwarded his hands to ishita for help.Ishita climbed the stage with his help.
Mr bhalla introduced them as husband and wife .Raman pulled a box from his pocket and opened it .it was containing a mangalsutra and a ring.He slid the ring in his fingers and tied the mangsutra around her neck .ishita smiled happily as now she is officially Mrs ishita raman Kumar bhalla .But at the next moment she became sad as she has got nothing to gift raman .ishira looked helplessly to her appa .He smiled and passed a diamond ring to her .ishita smilingly took it and slid it in Raman's finger.
Everyone started prasing the heavenly couple .soon they were sorrounded by their friends and family members .some of their friends were praising them ,some were teasing them and some were glaring them with envy.
Everybody was busy in party when a elderly person came and greeted them. Raman took his blessing and introduced ishita to him.she also took his blessing .He blessed them and went leaving a confused ishita behind.
