Part -24.
Raman was gone ,everybody was upset .ishta was consoling everybody.
T-ishita puttar what is this ,why did you let him go.you should have stopped him.
I-mummyji ,I would have been but it was really very imp.and I don't want that he should incurr loss because of me.
S-whats because of u ,r u craxzy its his engagement also.
I-i know that's why I let him go.Why u people are so worried ,he will come back in time .please don't worry.
After talking to them ishita went to her room she wanted to call him but its only two hours till he left.Her heart andind debated a lot and at last her heart wins .she called him .he immediately picked the call ,seems he was waiting for her call.
R-hello
I- humm its me.
R-got it ,how r u .
I-fine,and you.
R- I m also fine dear,its only two hours since I left.
I-humm I know but..
She cannot completed her sentence and he interrupted in between.
R-missing me.
I-humm
R-should I cancel the meeting.
I-nope .its pretty imp.
R-i know but not more than you.I m still in Delhi if you say so I can cancel the meeting and postponed it to someother day.
I-then what's the difference ,you have to go anyway.
R-humm that's the point.then what should we do.
I-you just wind up your meeting at time and come soon.
R-that sounds good.achcha listen ,I know its bit difficult but can't talk to you till tomorrow as I has to prepare for meeting.
I-its ok ,I will manage but you take care of yourself,have enough sleep and take your food in time.
R-oops so many instructions .ishita you r behaving like a typical wife.
I-humm and you should obey me like a typical husband.
R-ok mam.now I had to end this call ,as its final call for passengers.
I-ok bye ,take care come soon.
R- you too take care of yourself and Remember my condition .I will be the first person to see you in that lahengaa.
I-got that you have to come soon.
R-i will ,ok bye.
It was midnight when simmi came out to fetch some water for her ,when she heard some sounds in raman room .she goes there and found ishita was arranging his cupboard.his clothes ,watches ,hanky,shocks,files everything.
S-ishita what are you doing here.
I-(fumbling)oh simmi di ,actually I was just.You know he had messed everything so I thought to arrange his stuffs as he is not there.
Simmi came forward and hugged her tight .
S-missing him.
I(with tears)- a lot.
S-oh ho ishita you are behaving like you are living in stone age .arey yaar just call him and talk.
I-no he is busy .he told me that he will be busy till the meeting.
S- oh thats the problem. Now what should we do.
I-nothing you go I m alright ,I will finish this and then will go for sleep.
Simmi went to her room and ishita continues her work.
Next morning she was doing all her work but was bit slow.Toshiji noticed her and said"ishita putter are you alright ".
I-yes mummyji I m alright .
T-you are looking very tired.
I-no no I m good.
S-ma you know na bhai is not there that's why she is like that.
T-oh yes ishita I forget to tell you ,raman has called and said that he was all ready for meeting and will be here before engagement. He was getting late that's why he didn't talk much.
I-did you ask for breakfast ,has he taken it in time.
T-no beta he was in hurry ,I can't ask about it.
I-oh.
Saying so she continued her work again.Toshiji signalled simmi .simmi went to ishita and told ishita you just go and relax we will finish all these work.
I-all is done.
T-if everything is done then you people can go to parlour and return before raman comes.
After sometime simmi and ishita went to parlour.
In the evening ,all the preparations for engagement was done.Bhalla house was decorated beautifully with red and white roses.The arrival of guests has started but there was no trace of raman .Everybody in bhalla house was worried and the most tensed person was ishita.
They were calling him time and again but his phone was either unreachable or switched off which added their worries more.
Almost all the guests had arrived but raman was still to come.Toshiji ,Mr Bhalla and solimmi were busy in attending guests whereas ishita was there in her room waiting for him.she was continuously trying to call him but her every effort was in vain as every time it says that its unreachable.Now ishita began to curse herself .
Ishita POV
Its all my fault .its an imp. deal ,you should definitely go .I will wait for you .what was the need of all this .He was not willing to go ,u were the one who forced him.Hey murugan please help him .Be with him ,send him home at the right time .what if ,no no he is alright and she prays for his wellbeing.

She heard knock at the door ,it was simmi.
S-hey ishita come out yaar ,everybody is asking for you.
Ishita was about to open the door but he recalled his statement "make sure i will be the first person to see you in this lahenga"and stood glued to her place.
She looked at herself.she was wearing the same red lahengaa with matching bangels ,and matching kundan jewellerys.He hair were tied in a beautiful bun which was decorated with flower strings.she has put dark kohl in her eyes and was wearing matching light red lipstick with light makeup.she was looking devine in this attire but cannot go outside as he had not yet arrived.ishita asked simmi "simmi do has he arrived".
S-not yet but he will be arriving shortly .
I-di can I take some more time ,please let him come.
S-ok
Simmi was gone and ishita again lost in her thoughts and started praying for him.
After sometime she again heard the knock ,this time it was toshiji.
Ishita again denied but this time toshiji was adamant.so she gave up and said "mummyji you go I will following you"
After few min.she came out but not in that red lahenga but was wearing a cream and darkpink colour lahenga.
Everybody started admiring her. Toshiji immediately came forward ,took her evil eyes and put a black mark behind her ears.
Each and every eye was on her but her eyes were on the entrance.Ladies came forward and talked to her ,introduced herself ,she took blessing of everyone but her sight never left the entrance.
Everybody started asking about him .but nobody has any answer as none know about his whereabouts.
Ishita tried to call mihir but he was also not available.Now she was hell worried and started praying silently.
After sometime when panditji said that "it the time of muhurat and if he will not come in next half an hour it will be over and the this engagement cannot be done."
Everybody was hell worried and cannot think what to do when Raman along with mihir showed up.He was looking extra handsome in his chilly red brasso designer sherwani.He can be spotted in the whole crowd as he was clean shaven ,with gelled hair and was glowing with happiness which was adorned by his cute dimples.
Ishita was first to spot him .Everybody ran to him asking about his whereabout and reason for being late.but ishita was the one who ran to her room .Raman also ran behind her as his all attention was on her.He goes and knocked the door continuously thinking that she is upset with him but after sometime she opened the door and came out wearing his red lahengaa looking like an angel and asked "how m I looking"
Raman cannot spoke a word as he was lost in her beauty.
