CHAPTER 4

Hello, I'm back with chapter 4. Thank you everyone for reading it and also commenting.😊😊 Sorry for any mistakes.

"Listen miss ishita! I know it is a mistake out of my action, I'm sorry. But at least try to listen my explanation first" raman tried to calm down ishita, finally she willing to listen to him. "I made the declaration out of so called desperation, you have to understand me, out of pressure from my mom to get me married, the social media who always try to make me into a married man' and a history of my own I had made the decision without considering you. Sorry." Ishita is not really convinced with it, but she tried to understand his current condition, "I knew how it felt when your parents pressurized you for marriage, my mom also being a matchmaker for me, I also had my own history not to get married, anyways, damaged had been done, how are you going to clear it up?" said ishita. "I'll take the responsibility, we are going to get married in real..!"answered raman. "WHAT? Pagal ho tum?! I mean you can't even stand me for minutes, how can you live with me and mostly we are not even in love...bickering are our forte." Ishita replied in shock. "Oh...doctor ji, the marriage that I meant is only on the paper, we only need to act as husband and wife in front of others or else when there is no one, we can mind our own business. I'll manage your lecture day by day, perhaps I need to sign up for hearing aid implant, in case,,, you know...your lecture exceed the limit...at least I got back up plan"replied raman. "Do you think marriage is an easy subject? It is one of most respectful relationship, devoured by everyone who dream of having happy family and yet we are using it to cover the mistake?" ishita retorted back. Raman answered, "Here we go, it already started...the mega lecture session...Listen, think of it, we actually respect it, we will do every ritual, it is just that we have marriage out of love..for certain reason obviously, but the benefit is, our parents will not hunt any other random people to get hitched to us,there our headache is solved. Second, we are free to do what we want eventhough we are married, we are free actually and lastly, no need to think about kids right? That last word hit ishita,"I want to tell you something, you don't have to worry about kids...because I'm infertile, that is the sole reason I was left by my fianc and I live alone. I don't want to ruin another life with my defect..." Raman is surprised to know the truth, not only him who suffered, she suffered more, only because of her inability, she cruelly being treated by a man. Shame! He assured her that the concern is not on that, his parents are not that close minded people, they will understand... He try to cheer her up, "oye, who said you don't have kids, actually you have a lot, there in hospital, how many kids are under you? Ishita, you are paediatrician na... kids will always be part of you... so held your head high! Cheer up!" Ishita somehow felt elated and found that this raavan kumar is not that bad. They both shake hand and agreed for the contract marriage.

Meanwhile, mihir, mihika and romi were waiting anxiously for the Jodi. Speak of the devil, ishita and raman came to the lobby. "Di... are you ok? What happen? Tell me na" asked mihika worried. "Bhai, did Bhabhi agreed? Tell us na" inquired mihir and romi. "We decided for the marriage to be proceeded.." they answered. The trio congratulate them and wishing the best. "My parents will go to your home tomorrow, just be ready, Oh, not to forget I think your parents also going to my house tomorrow. See you." Raman bid goodbye. "Di...amazing yaar... The best ceo is my hone wale jiju!"exclaimed mihika. Unknown to her, ishita and raman are only married for contract not more than that. At home, "ishita is this real? Are you getting married?" Mrs Kapoor questioned her daughter, she just heard the breaking news from tv. "Ma, pa, it is true. Eventhough it is sudden but it is true, I'm getting married to mr raman patel. I'm hoping for your blessing mama, papa."answered ishita. Mrs Kapoor quickly hug ishita, she is emotional knowing her daughter finally getting married. Same goes to mr Kapoor, he is happy ishita is getting her happiness. "mera beti, if you think this is the best for you, we can wish you a very happy future life, god bless you" he hugged his daughter and the fathr daughter duo are in tears. Ishita told her parents about tomorrow's visit from raman's parent. "Ma, it is great na! I have the best jiju, handsome, genius and charismatic...wow! Perfect!" mihika said her excitement. Priyanka congratulates her sister and ready to help anything for her weeding day.

Meanwhile in raman's home, "Are you finally settling down raman? Is it for real?" both his parents questioned him. "Yes ma,pa. I'm finally ready to get married."answered raman. He received a warm and happy hug from his parents. "I know you will find your soulmate one day" claimed mrs patel. Mr Kapoor congratulate his son and wish the best for him and his bahu. They decided to go for ishita's house tomorrow. Mihir and romi also want to join the visit, they can't wait to have the wedding.

The Kapoor and patel family are finally meet each other. All of them are really happy for their kids and suddenly ishita said "Aunty, uncle I want to tell you something, I'm sorry to break you with this truth, I'm infertile which this defect might upset you both. It is okay if you object this wedding, I'm habitual with rejection". Mrs Kapoor stand up and came near ishita...She hugged her and pacify ishita, "to me a complete marriage is not justified by kids, it depends on at how you can accept your partner's weakness and nurture the marriage with the real love, and support each other. Happiness will come with that, kids is not the main focus in marriage, nowadays, a lot of modern medical technology that can help you meri beti..." ishita is touched by the words, people usually reject and even taunt on her motherhood ability but not with raman's mother. Now, she understands from where raman got the ability to pacify someone. All of them are happy; patels are happy to have non selfish, honest,beauty with brain daughter in law while kapoors are happily accepting great, handsome, charismatic son in law. "When did you guys know each other?"asked mr kapoor. Raman and ishita exchange glances. "Well..it is actually" raman is cut short by romi. Romi told the whole story from the incident of lecture machine till yesterday moment and of course with some added sweet twist here and there to ensure a romantic story is made up. For the first time, raman thank his brother. "Bilkul sahihe uncle, accha Jodi both of them," added mihir. Raman sit beside mr Kapoor, "Ma, pa, I promised you that I will take care ishita and make her happy, She deserved to be happy and married. Let the world judge her, but from today, she is my mrs ishita raman patel, I'll protect her. Would you let me be your son in law?". Mr Kapoor emotionally agreed and hug his son in law. Enough of the emotional drama, they decided on the wedding preparations which only have less than a week of time. Mrs Kapoor invite ishita to go to her future house to be.

"Thank you for convincing my parents" ishita said to raman, "If you can be honest with your bitter truth, why can't I do the equal thing?" replied raman. Both of them went to raman's house. She was mesmerized by the mansion of the patel's family. It is huge, luxurious but yet warm with the family love. Suddenly a macho medium sized brown dog greet ishita excitedly.. "Bonzo, bonzo behave,," raman calm down his dog. "Looks like bonzo also excited for his mumma na..." claimed mrs Kapoor. Ishita caressed the dog lovingly. She loved dogs and kids. She felt very welcome in there, she help mrs Kapoor to prepare for a light tea session eventhough she was being restrained from coming into kitchen by her sasural but ishita is ishita, she can't silently sit down watching others busy preparing for the meal. The happy family were happily chit chatting and sharing things. In the kitchen, "thank you ishita for coming into raman's life, he once had brutally broken by a woman named shagun, I know he deserved second chance." Mrs Kapoor told ishita the complex history of raman. Now, ishita understood what was meant by "I also have my own history" told by raman. He is also bearing the same pain, betrayed by the loved ones.
