That is the main point na. It was done for no rhyme or reason. I can see none. maybe I am dumb. but this was so NOT needed.
we can't say if ppl on the show are happy with or not. They don't have any say in it, do they? So can't really do anything about it. I wonder if they can even voice their disgust like we are even if it goes unheard.

Has anyone following the show ye rishta kya kehlata hai I know its been running for ages n even I have never been a fan of the show but one thing I love about the show there has never been seperation between the leads with 2 major 10 yr leaps still they never seperated n it has been one of tge top shows of sp till now it has good trps. I don't understand why ekta is so fascinated with leads seperation n reunion I mean this was acceptable maybe years back when she started producing these shows but still she is dishing out the same crap. Even if they want to show leap why seperate the leads they still have a lot to show they can actually let Shagun run away with the surrogate kid n let ishra suffer but together. But anyways she is one stupid women who like ruin all her shows

I've seen it on & off since it started! It used to rule the TRP charts, but I guess post 2nd leap dropped interest.

But while I make fun of it's cheesiness and always right FL...I do appreciate their positivity. They don't really have villains in the true sense, but more often push the plot based on human emotions/reactions (aka like 11 PM YHM).

I just don't think that's EK's style. It's sorta like Rajshri movies are always really sanskari and family oriented...BT shows are always cheap, predictable, and immoral. And idk what will make her change her "signature" 😕

Seriously when will she change in fact there was a time when audience stopped watching her shows most of them were flops coz of the same crap n she didn't have a single show on air but still she is again back to her rubbish. I hate to say but yhm n ishra still afeect me n it hurts to see what they are turning it into I so want somehow all this doesn't happen but I guess no point in keeping any hopes

Thanks! Idk I feel like I've been coping with various aspects of the show (1) the horrible treatment of infertility & promotion of paternalism, (2) the destruction characters/story/couple, & (3) what's right to want to see happen versus feeling with a character.

But it's a good step to be done b/c I just don't have it in me to watch this week's episodes as a way to cut the cord.
