Everyone in hospital was quite tensed thinking about Ishita's condition. No one knew why this happened on such a day where everybody was so happy and were celebrating Raman and Ishita's 1^st marriage anniversary.

On the contrary, they were feeling bad for Raman. His wife is in danger and he has lost his baby. Every dream they had lived had fallen apart with the change of events. Mr. Bhalla, father of Raman, who loves his son and daughter-in-law a lot, is the most vulnerable man right now. As he saw Romi coming out of the I.C.U., He ran up to him and asked

"Romi, how is Ishita now? Did she have regained her conscious? She is fine right? Can I meet her?"

Romi couldn't help but hold his dad and made him sit beside near chair. He looked around to see everyone's eyes on him expecting an answer.

"Ishita Bhabhi is getting serious..." Romi held his head and told his family members. "She isn't responding to any of the treatment as if she doesn't want to live anymore. Nothing seems to be working. We can just wait..."

Everyone out their cried listening to his words; Madhvi and Vishwa, her parents, couldn't handle the news and consumed themselves in their grief while Vandita and Mihika were consoling them.

Everyone asked about Raman, but no one knew where he is.

"Raman, is at home. I made him rest for time being. He was not in the condition to hear or understand anything." Mihir said while joining them.

Everyone nodded and prayed for Raman and Ishita.

"Ishitaaa..." Raman woke up from his deep slumber shouting Ishita's name. As soon he realized that she is nowhere around him and the reality dawned upon him. He is alone in this room, all alone. He saw the decorations of the room, and couldn't help but think about last night when everything seemed so perfect to him.

Everyone was smiling and laughing, they both were so happy together. At least, he thought so, that they were indeed happy last night. But little did he knew, what his wife was up to. His thoughts went to the last two day's events that changed his life completely.

He accepts he was not a good husband. He has never done anything out of love but an obligation. But in last two days, everything indeed changed. His life took a new direction where he wanted to walk with her happily.

"Why Ishita...How can you do this to me...You promised me that you won't ever leave me, no matter how bad I would turn. You promised me, that we will be best parents for our baby girl. You promised me you will love me till eternity...How can you leave me in the middle..."

He just cried remembering their moments not able to bear the pain anymore. He was still mourning over loss of his baby. His princess, for whom he had promise to change, because of whom, he realized that he Loves Ishita like anything. He had not even talked to his baby girl properly, he was still in shock state that he is going to be a father and God snatched her away even before he can live those moments.

"No, Ishita...You can't do this to me. You have to be with me. You have to come back...for me...only me...you have to..." Raman was crying miserably when a soft hand caressed his shoulder, not soothingly, but intimately. His head shot up with fury realizing the familiar touch and he just shrugged away the girl's hand and stood up facing her in moments.

She looked at him confused and said "Raman...tum ro rhe ho...seriously you are crying...come on Raman...stop this drama...no one is here now...we both are alone baby...come close to me na ..." She tried holding his hand and pulls him towards her but he pushed her instead a little harshly this time indicating her that this is not at all a good time to mess with this angry lion.

"Shagun, I respect you a lot but I guess I had made myself clear about our relationship the other day. So, please stop this drama of yours and keep the distance." Raman said turning around, keeping Ishita's diary and papers safe on the table.

"Oh My God, Raman...tum pagal toh nahi ho gaye ho...seriously...come on...yeh natak band karo...you are scaring the hell out of me..." Shagun exclaimed while caressing his cheek sensuously.

[Oh My God Raman, Are you mad or what...seriously...come on...stop this drama now...you are scaring the hell out of me...]

Raman closed his eyes tight while his jaws tightened feeling her fingers cares across his face. He held Shagun's hand and stared in her eyes deviously making her flinch back in fear.

"Don't make me do something that I don't want to Shagun. You know me too well. So don't rub me on wrong side. I am not going to spare you. Trust me. I know, what kind of a woman you are...so..."

"Raman..really...you are talking like this about me...why are you hurting me Raman...What have I done to be here...Why can't I be happy...You promised me my happiness but now...with this behavior you are hurting me. I came here to give you a shoulder, to support you..but you are insulting me..." She turned away clearing her fake tears when Raman stopped her and said "I..I am sorry...I didn't mean that...I was just...look please...i need some time alone...'

Saying that he grabbed his car keys and left, while Shagun didn't understood what had got into him all of a sudden. He is indeed behaving weird. She had to do something or she will be left in a mess.

On the other side, Raman took his car and drove on the roads of Mumbai aimlessly. He remembered all their moments and their journey starting from Day 1. He accepted that he has never been a good husband to her. Indeed he was stuck with her, he thought like this before but now he knew this was the best thing ever happened with him.

If it wasn't her, he would have lost himself somewhere and would have drowned himself in liquor. Though, he felt attracted towards her from the time he have seen her but his ego was the only thing stopping him to bring that change in their equation.

He remembered the time when he started feeling something for but never acknowledged it just because of his male ego. He remembered something happened in the beginning when they were just getting married. The only reason which made him stop to acknowledge those growing feelings for her. That one event changed his life equations completely.

But now knowing her from a year now, he knew she can't do anything bad with him. He knew there was something more to that story but he careless about it. He never tried to confront about anything or atleast make an effort to clear things out between them. He never kept her happy. Now, he felt really guilty about it. Only, if he would have tried to do something to close this outgrowing distance between them. He never given anything to her but have got so much in written.

He really doesn't deserve this woman. She deserved better, who would have kept her happy enough. He didn't know why she wanted to give divorce to him when he himself had promised her that he will keep her happy always and they will be together forever.

He couldn't help but think about it. If nothing would have happened with her, she would have left him anyway. But this wasn't something he was expecting from her side. He didn't know what to do to make this situation better. His Ishita is fighting for her life. How badly he wanted to be with her all the time. But he knew he didn't have it in him to face her.

He loves her way too much to see her in this condition. No, But still he has to be there. He wasn't there when she needed him the most. Although, he wasn't with her in any situation, But he will rectify his mistake. He will bring her back. He will not leave her even for a second now.

Determined he took a turn and reached hospital within minutes. He mustered up all his courage to face his family and her. Everyone seemed too gloomy there which made his heart beat erratic. Did something happened to Ishita,..? No, how can he even think like this. She is fine.

He keep on chanting that she is fine making himself believe it. Everyone turned to him and gave him a small smile to lighten up the tense atmosphere. He reached their and the finding his voice he said " How is Ishita..?"

Everyone turned gloomy again when there come Dr. Kirti. He recognized her, as she was one of the specialists of the doctors team called especially for Ishita's treatment.

"Well, Ishita ke saare reports aa gaye hai..." Everyone looked at her in a hope to seek some good news about her but to their disappointment there was no improvement.

"Listen Mr. Bhalla, I need to talk to you...Can you please meet me in my cabin in few minutes." Dr. Kirti said and left for her room.

Raman walked to Kirti's cabin.

"May I come in Doctor...?" He asked.

"Yeah Mr.Bhalla please." He took a seat in front of her and waited for her to continue.

"Mr.Bhalla, I am really sorry to ask this, but where were you all this time? I mean, no one have moved an inch from here but you. Everything was right between you too..?"

"Dr. Kirti, I was not here..because...ehhh it was hard for me to see her in this condition..so.." His eyes got filled with tears while uttering those words.

Feeling guilty she said "I am sorry Mr. Bhalla, I didn't mean to hurt you, actually, I am concerned for Ishita. She has always been so close to me that I couldn't take her sudden news of accident. I am extremely sorry.."

"it's Okay Dr. kirti. I understand." He gave her a small smile.

"Although Raman, this is a seriously matter. She isn't responding well to the treatment given to her. And we have done every test to know what's wrong, but we got nothing. Sometimes people do not want to live and here Ishita has slipped into coma where we are not sure about anything."

"I don't know, when she will come around, maybe in a week, month or even years. She has that internal nerves damage and has got severe injuries in brain. So, I would just suggest you take her home and be with her all the time. Try to be happy and normal around her."

"But doctor, she will come around soon, right? Nothing will happen to her?" Raman asked a bit scared.

"I hope so Raman...though I can't be sure about it. I am sorry."

His heart broke listening to her. He didn't know how to react at this news. He just wanted her back now and nothing concerns him more than her. He needs her.

Coming out of Dr. Kirti's cabin, he didn't know what he will tell his family. All he knows is he can't see the hurt emotions in their eyes. After losing his small little family, he was not ready to take another blow. He prepared himself to face his family and finally walked out towards them.

Raman...kya bola Dr. Kirti ne...?" Raman's Dad asked, worried.

[Raman..what did Dr. Kirti said?]

"Dad..She said, that Ishita...usko kaafi chot aayi hai...lekin hum usse ghar le ja sakte hai...hume usko bohot sara pyaar dena hai...jisse wo jaldi se thik ho jaye..bas yehi kaha..."

[Dad..She said, that Ishita...she have been injured badly..but we can take her home...we have to shower her with all our love ...so...so that she will be fine soon...that's all]

Raman never met their eyes, scared of giving away the truth. Although, he could see the relief spreading on their faces hearing his words, and so, he liked it that way. He has to bear the pain alone. He has to pay for his sins.
