I haven't seen enough of the post-C Raman to judge. I liked how he handled Ishitha-Ashok issue calmly. I think I will see a confident (sweetly arrogant) Raman again now. Otherwise, my favorite is also version 1.1.

I suppose that most viewers like V1.1 because we went on a journey of discovery,like our beloved RKB.We witnessed multiple facets of his personality unfold,unlike his 'me against the world" avatar prior to the Ishra marriage.

Sometimes he delighted us,at other times we were exasperated at him taking six steps backwards for every step forward.

But most of all we liked him because he had equal weightage in the story lines.
