Well I feel leaving the online category of viewers, I feel no audience hates Shagun, in fact Shagun s character is quite an interesting character as compared to rest like sarika, romi, Bala... Shagun, Ashok, Raman, ishita, the story is about these characters and their messed up life along with kids... rest are fillers... Shagun is not Raman ex but also mother to kids. In show she has been more negative as compared to book but now her character has grown from negative to positive... rest characters were never negative so they couldn't show much development...

I dont know about the audience everywhere, I went with the general feeling of this portal. And I agree Shagun was interesting to begin with , till she was turned totally dark and now totally white...that's not character growth, rather trying different ways to fit a character somehow into the story line.</font>

no people are so attached to the show as on this portal... people watch the show just for entertainment and forget as soon as another show starts, it's only for passing time, people have tensions in their personal life, nobody has time to hate a character, if they dislike then watch another show or leave it... myself I would hate Shagun plotting against ishita now at least I liked her changed avatar... she has realised her mistakes and trying to lead a normal peacefullife is new for Shagun and for us also... somewhere the audience s on this portal dislike for shagun is becoz she is positive now... it's all becoz of hatred for the character...

You're assuming stuff about people and passing sweeping generalization. Yes we watch the show and we enjoy it for the most of it...YHM has one of the best ensemble cast...that's why even a lech like Param who is hated as a character, is adored as an actor because we appreciate the amazing performance he gives..same goes for Ashok...when he was turned into a male bimbo during Sauten saga most of us lamented...as we always enjoyed a good Raman- Ashok conflict... Even shagun was appreciated when she was grey...

@bold how do you know that? was it shown? then please let me know the episode number...I would love to see the episode...just changing an wardrobe and showing she's part of an NGO is no character development but sheer character mutation...hence the audience rejected Shagun...and they are not rejecting her just here, during Sauten saga also people were irritated by the over indulgence of the CVS about Shagun's screen time...The character's story is rejected as it makes no sense ast all...If you think it's for hatred of the character that's your assumption. You're entitled to it, but that doesn't make it right.

Everyone hates Shagun because she's no longer Shagun, the character has been butchered beyond repair. Had it been shown how she overcame her grief and hatred and then found someone else to share her life with, it'd have been a progressive, connected storyline, and it might have then been possible to portray as a 2nd lead, the way they did in Balika Vadhu. Out of the blue holiness has no logic, hence everyone's dislike.</font>
