DivAn's IshRa Consummation

Hi All!

It has been a longgg while since I have posted. For those of you who may not know, I stopped watching YHM quite some time back... like after that Galliyan salsa episode. Its been a long long time since I have seen the show and really followed it. I just watch some scenes here and there, for DivAn and DivAn only.

BUT. Of course. Like everyone else, I have always been waiting for IshRa to move on in their relationship. And now that it has finally happened, I have to be here to pay tribute to the scene. There is no way I would have missed out on this. Not for anything in the world.

DISCLAIMER: In case you don't know, I am a hardcore DivAni. Im very honest, and I do not censor what I say. Since I have been detached from the show for a long time, I did not really watch the scene as "IshRa". Meaning, it was not so much about the characters for me. The IshRa that I know and loved are no longer in the show. In my eyes, the characters have deteriorated. As has the storyline. My viewing and commentary on this scene is purely for Karan and Divyanka as actors, and for the depiction and direction of the scene, by the YHM team. Anything that I say here is my opinion only. I mean no offence. Peace x Love

(Let me just get this out of the way now. Shagun's little scene in the beginning... especially that whole "I hope voh EK ho jaayein" bit. LMFAO. I laughed. Out loud. A lot. PS - do you see what I did there?... "EK" 😉🤣)

OK. LETS GET READY FOR THAT HOT LOVE BABY.

TWO THINGS FIRST:

1. I have ALWAYS imagined Ishita in a sari for this scene. Always. Every time I have dreamt of this moment, she has always been in a sari. So I was a little sad to see her in a gown. That being said...this does not in any way mean that Divyanka looked bad. She looks sexy in ANYTHING. The gown was fine. It was definitely hot. And she definitely killed it.

But we all know that if Divyanka was in a sari, the scene would have been 100x sexier. WE ALL KNOW IT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BLAZING.

And you know what... maybe that's why she wasn't in a sari. Because that level of sexy... that level of extreme heat would have been FATAL. For us, for them... for everyone. It would have caused a DivAni pandemic. No joke.

2. I also always imagined Raman in a beard. AND YESSS KARAN BABY HEARD MY PRAYERS. UFFF goddamn... Karan looks even hotter in scruff. I swear, it does things to me. "turns me on" is an understatement.

ANYWAY. ONTO THE SCENE.

Ok. Im going to be really very honest here. I found the whole angry confrontation thing a little silly and immature. Not very "IshRa" and not very "YHM" at all. It was really meaningless to me. I know, I don't watch the show so I had no idea what was happening or why. But still. It just did not seem like a fitting conversation. Weren't IshRa supposed to be mature? Since when does physical attraction matter so much in their relationship? It was never about that. YHM was never about that. Yes, this is important for them to take the next step, but since when does Ishita need a gown to lure Raman? Why does she need him to look at her all the time? Why does he need to actually say the words "you drive me crazy"?

I don't know, but I didn't really like this bit. I found it all really disgraceful. Not really the kind of conversation that I imagined would lead to this hugely precious moment. It made it seem like the sole reason for this consummation was to prove that Raman physically wanted Ishita. I was sad to see this.

Khair, as I said... I only saw this for DivAn. The great thing about them is that they BOTH are superbly expressive. Divyanka and Karan are SOOO good, they make you want to believe in the feelings. In the emotions. In the dialogues. Their conviction, their exceptional acting is what makes all of this so real.

AHEM AHEM. So lets get to the real performance 😉☺️

THE KISS: AAYEEE HAYEEE KARANNN. MUJHE BHI MAARO NAAA BABY!!! Oh my goodness!!! my heart dropped. Seriously. I have dreamt numerous times of a DivAni liplock, you better believe it. Even though we couldn't get that, this was close enough to make my heart thud !! WELL DONE DIVAN!!! Very aesthetically shot. I can imagine how hard it must be to get the angles perfect and to make it seem real. It was SUPERBLY done. Divyanka's expressions after the fact were SO ON POINT!!! As always, she nailed it.

NOTE: there are a few things I cannot handle. One of them is Karan's sexy voice. And his eyes. And his BEARD. And goddamnit he was in BLACK. Omfg. Seriously... deadly combination. YOU HAVE MY HEART KARAN PATEL. YOU HAVE IT. I WILL GLADLY HAVE YOUR BABIES. PLEASE BE THE FATHER OF MY EMBRYOS.

Ahem. Sorry.

Tujhe Dekh Dekh: this was not the song I imagined. But it doesn't matter. Any sensuous song will suit DivAn.

My heart was beating crazy fast at this point. If you are a DivAni, you probably would understand... but this was like waaayyy more than just a scene for me. It's acting, I know. But it's the closest DivAn have ever gotten physically onscreen. And that is HUGE. It's the closes I will ever get the forbidden fantasies of my heart. I was a hot mess watching this. TRUST ME.

THE AESTHETICS:

Panning the camera to Divyanka's expressive face and little details of their hands, lips, eyes, etc... this is probably the BEST thing about cinematic consummation scenes. This is exactly what makes the scene so sensuous. I am so glad that the YHM team did this so well. The camera frames and angles were perfect.

The momentary pause, when the song stops and Raman wipes Ishita's lone tear... and then the song restarts at "kabse hai dil mein mere..." : BRILLIANT !!!!! OMG. SO SO SO EXCEPTIONAL. This little detail means SO much. And the way it was done is PERFECT. AHHH. And then he kisses her eyes. MY HEART WAS READY TO EXPLODE.

Definitely the best cinematic point of the whole scene.

DIVYANKA AND KARAN:

Expressions. Feeling. Chemistry. Passion. Intensity. Desire. Hunger.

You two have all of this, and more. I don't know what the deal is. How or why you two are able to do this. I have no idea. But you two make love feel real. You don't need intimate scenes like this to show romance, or any of the things listed above. You don't need dialogues. You don't need background music. You don't need camera angles and trick. You don't need anything. Just you. Just you two together. Your eyes. Your gestures. Your movements. Your touch. That is all you need to ignite fire. All you need, is your togetherness.

There were a few times where Karan and Divyanka came so close that their noses touched. Like literally "saans mein teri saans" moments. I just want to say, those moments... those few seconds are my solace. That's all Im going to say about that. Any more words will take away from the performance and what DivAn are to me.

This scene could have been far better overall in my opinion.

But the "morning after" scene was a pleasant surprise. Very real, and for once... actually indicative of the maturity this show promised. I loved every bit of it. And Divyanka looked STUNNING. Her tousled hair and glowing face is just so sexy. Im so glad they added this bit!

Lastly, let me just add... I was sad that this consummation was not as great as I would have hoped. That being said, I was not disappointed.

You can only be disappointed if you expect something in the first place. I no longer have any expectations from this show. There was nothing that I expected to see in the scene, because the YHM that exists now... the IshRa that exists now... I dont know it enough to have any kind of expectations from it.

I just watched it for DivAn. And regardless of the scene's lacking capacity, they nailed it like the sexy ass onscreen couple that they are.☺️

I love you DivAn. Forever and always.

Truth is whatever IshRa's love and chemistry ...is all because of mainly DivAn's chemistry and comfort level. They may not be the bested buddies, but very close and special friends😉. Hope this friendship is deepened more and we can see more comforting chemistry.

i too think this consummation scene would have been better but it was awesome in its own way. there was no vulgarity... they were gentle n passionate. Whatever that scene was DivAn made it 1000 times more special, more hotter, more sensual. Hatts off to both of them - Divyanka n Karan. DT is intelligent i must say ... she chose a dress that was sexy itself but not revealing types. n if she wore sari it would have been difficult for her to enact the scene. I appreciate her choice. They proved once again they are the best on screen couple... Luv DivAn, not from the bottom of my heart, from the core of my soul ❤️

Regarding what you said about the confrontation before the C scene was one brilliant thing I have seen on screen
Usually it is emphasised thAt the lead lady is the most beautiful girl or woman in the entire community. Here, Ishita is somewhere thinking or believe that Shagun is prettier than her.
It's nothing immature to think that you are not desirable for your spouse. That's a natural inferiority complex that can arise.
It's not about physically wooing anybody but when you are head over heels in love with someone, you want to be the most beautiful lady for him. Note that not prettiest.
Even after taking so much of efforts he isn't looking at you for once it's obvious to feel dejected
Most of us keep it inside but she vocalised her feelings
