I just LOVED today's episode! After sooo long it was an episode about Ishra and their relationship and insecurities not about anyone else so I couldn't help myself but start a topic lol
I was dreading the consummation because every time it's been brought up the last few months it's always been about expanding their family, for ruhi, for the family, to prove Ishita can be a mother etc. and I felt Ishra's relationship kind of took a back seat. Yes they've been married for 1.5 years but that doesn't mean that ok it's baby time. In all honesty they don't really know each other too well yet because they haven't taken that step until now, nor have they opened up to each other completely. Just now they're realizing/talking about their own insecurities regarding their relationship/each other which was very much needed. Now that they've taken that next step in their relationship they'll be much more closer to each other than before.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them have a baby of their own and to see Ishita experience the whole thing (hopefully that will actually happen but that's a whole other topic) but I didn't want it to be the sole reason for the consummation. I wanted it to be because they love each other and want to be with each other, be husband and wife in every way without the pressure of having a baby. I'm so so so glad the CV's didn't bring up any family planning tonight and it was just about Ishita and Raman's mohabbatein which is the soul of YHM.
