I am angry with him as well.😡
Here is Raman Ku. Bhalla, a savvy businessman in his own right, looking GORGO in that dark suit and that cropped, smart hair and that beard that looks sexy as hell! And we have Ishita Raman Bhalla who swept us off our feet and EVERYBODY else in the party who chanced to look at her even once.👏 In that pink off-shoulder floor-length gown, hair immaculately dressed, topped with those diamond chunkies adding the bling to her ethereal look, Ishita looked like every man's dream. Atleast ALL the men who attended the party and couldn't take their eyes off her...inwardly envying Raman for having such a beautiful partner, elegance personified.
We have Ishita who went out of her comfort zone..clearly to 'bridge the gap' between herself and her husband, when it comes to intimacy. The woman who would rather stick to her basic fashion style of sarees and choli blouses took a GIANT leap...clearly to show her other side to the man she loved madly, probably, in a bid to reveal to him, remind him that she WAS a woman. And she WANTED to be desired.
Yesterday's episode had me sort of upset...and teary-eyed...yesterday's episode was a comparison of different sets of insecurities running parallel on a spectrum..The beautiful, homely wife taunted by the gregarious, bitchy sexy ex-wife of her husband that she isnt woman enough for Raman to desire her, sent her into a tizzy and completely shook her placid, unchanging world. It was needed. And yes, I applaud that it was done by Shagun, no less. Because the end result was EYE-POPPING. We saw Ishita who FINALLY expressed her readiness to make the plunge into that essential arena of married life a married couple really cannot do without. Sex. Lovemaking. Intimacy. She was ready to take the first step and she grabbed the bull by its horns, and opened her world and her deep recesses of her mind to her husband, deeply certain he will understand the hint and take on from there.
We had Raman who, right before the party had an altercation with his arch-nemesis for long, who left no stone unturned in egging Raman on and planting the seeds of deepset, painful memories Raman would rather forget. Raman was proud of his wife, of the love, loyalty and dedication she had for him ..she had proved it to him time and again...and so, he challenged the creep back, saying - Ishita kabhi nahin badlegi. Fair enough. And then minutes later he sees her in an avtar he had never before seen, primarily when it stemmed from his wife's OWN VOLITION. And so he begins doubting his own words, his own reality, his wife, and thinks Ishita is just like his ex-wife who took a turn for the worse once she attended a few parties, all glammed up.
And so he got royally pissed with Ishita, thinking she was turning out to be exactly like Shagun.
I was okay till he was upset with her in the car, and tried avoiding looking at her.
But WHAT justification was there to let his emotions rule his head, when he came to the party venue? I mean, the way he was behaving with Ishita...not even sparing her a single look, dancing with her in that oddly stiff crude way, giving her mean looks everytime one of his business comrades complimented Ishita, saying, "Raman, you're a very lucky man...your wife is really very beautiful"..😔
I could sense he was struggling with himself...he KNEW deep down he probably wasnt doing the right thing...that Ishita Raman Bhalla looked so pretty she knocked the senses out of him the minute he laid eyes on her...but he hated the outcome of Ashok Khanna;s words and the way his past affected him. It was not Ishita;s fault. It was HIS fault. He was letting it get to him. And badly.
I cannot even describe how badly I wanted to kick Ashok in the groin when he stared Ishita up and down, conjuring sick images in his head😡...
but yes, as much as I was pissed with Raman, he DID notice Ashok's reaction and came to warn him, to stay away from his wife...he is a wildly possessive man, and he loves his wife dearly, and would break any man's bones who dared to laid a finger on her, that much was clear.
But the distasteful look he gave Ishita after his altercation with Khanna was not done. It was CONTRARY to his act of standing up for his wife, and giving a earful to that arse Ashok 😭
Raman was trying hard to NOT look at Ishita, because everytime he glanced at her in that fugure-hugging elegant gown, he was reminded of Shagun and how she too had changed and then later dumped him. Added to that, the insult he bore when Ashok hinted that his wife might be gearing up for change, drove him mad. But then, deep down he was jealous and insecure and afraid his wife might discard him for a better man...he is a wild, wild guy...that's quite turning on, but only when it isnt done with so much roughness...poor Ishu😭
Is this the same man who WANTED at one point of time that his wife should let go of her 'kapdon ki thaan' and experiment with her wardrobe, be a little daring with her sartorial choices? Be modern, elegant, somewhat like Shagun? Is it the same man who was disappointed when Ishita gave off the gown to his ex, because she felt she wasnt made for such kind of clothes?
And why is it that he has compartmentalized Ishita as a "good, homely conservative woman"?? Why cant she move beyond the obvious and embrace change and bring out the woman inside her? When he told Ashok Ishita would never ever change, did he deep down take it for granted she would remain EXACTLY as she is? And why has the wardrobe change affected him so so deeply? Are clothes the indicator of a woman's character? Could he not see the desire in her eyes, during the dance? Couldn't he see how BADLY she was affected by his rejection of HER? 😡
But the worst comment that came from Raman's side, which was JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE is - You are just like Shagun who used to enjoy all the attention and compliments that came her way from men like these. He really hit below the belt when he said this. Absolutely undignified way of accusing your wife. Really not done.😡
What is a woman to do when her husband's colleagues compliment her on her outfit/appearance, albeit, in a well-meaning way? How could he be so BLIND to his wife's overtures, for her efforts for HIM? How MUCH she desired him? And how badly she wanted that HE desire HER? It was heartbreaking to see. Yes, I understand he is scared of losing her, but then WHY CANT HE TRUST HER OVER AND ABOVE ALL THE SHIT FLOATING HIS WAY?? For once??
Added to that was the stupid dance between him and Tandon's wife. WHAT WAS THE NEED TO DO THAT?😡
I mean, if he could be so rude to his wife, why couldn't he have shooed Tandon's wife away?? Was it to hurt Ishita for having attracted everybody's attention in the party and partly realising Ashok's words, for making HIS illogical projections of the mind come true? I was so torn between them both, my major sympathies lying with Ishita notwithstanding.
It was so sad to see Ishita gulping down her tears and asking Mihika to come pick her up. So sad to see her bottling up her emotions when Vandu and Mihika asked her about how she was enjoying the party and all...
This scene reminded me of a scene from the initial days of YHM, right after IshRa wedding, when they had both gone to attend a party, some reunion party I guess, and all Raman did was leave Ishita alone in a corner and seethe in Shagun's presence, making Ishita feel like such an unwanted object. Today's episode was WORSE since they have come so so far away from those days of hatred and insensitivity...I didnt expect Raman to react THIS horribly😡
Its high time CVs stop glorifying Raman's past and give a proper closure to it. And by that, I dont mean eliminating Ashok from the scene altogether. Khanna and Bhalla business fights will continue till the show goes on, and I dont have a problem with that, but till as long as Khanna manages to hit Raman's emotions where it hurts the most and take advantage of his memories, feelings, any victory Raman might enjoy over Khanna would just be temporary and ineffective. Ishita has proved to him a GAZILLION times that she loves him and ONLY HIM. Its high time Raman GROW up and stop letting these insinuations about his past and his worthless ex and this creep Ashok GET TO HIM. Really. He is only widening the gap between him and his wife. And in his words, if he cant trust Ishita, then he really cant trust anybody else...
PRECAP - As expected, Ashok tries to take advantage of Ishita's situation, spikes her drink and once she is drugged and drowsy, takes her by the shoulder...to god knows where...
This scene is giving me the creeps just like Ashok-Mihika scene did...and I HOPE it doesnt turn out to be the same way and Raman save his wife before something disastrous happens...on the contrary, if Ashok manages to get his way, would Raman BELIEVE all that this creep said and think in his head Ishita deserved it because she "changed" and dressed in a different way? This is another reason why I was pissed with Raman, because he let his wife roam around alone in the party with a creep like Ashok eyeing her from head to toe every few minutes...instead of being by her side and being the gentleman he really is...

If Raman doesnt stand by Ishita and truly thinks she has changed or whatever the heck it is, then its extremely sexist...and hypocritic...I dont understand..why cant a woman be EVERYTHING at the same time? Careerist, homemaker, wife, mother, seductress, sexy as hell in bed and off it and devoted and loving and loyal as well? Why compartmentalize...??😡 Why start branding her as a loose woman with despicable morals once she moves beyond her regular avtar??
On the plus side, I would be GLAD if this scene leads to a confrontation between the leads and a possible sexy marathon in the bedroom between the leads😆 All passionate and wild!!
But ek cheez hai...as hard as was trying to keep his eyes away from Ishita, something tugged at his heart...and the fiercer his anger at her, the fiercer his passion was...it was as if, his wife's sensuality was driving him mad...she looked so good it hurt him bad...
