Yhm is a comedy show afterall

First of all,a big congrats and thank you for completing 400 "episodes" of Rajma Idly 😆 In the words of the inimitable KP,may we get to see 1000 episodes of the wittiest thread about YHM.

I really don't care how lame the whole assumed illness saga is.At least we get to see the superlative talent that KP possesses.Understated comedy is not easy to do,but with KP it appears to be effortless.You know,he has often been criticised for late - coming, partying etc.As if he is not serious about his craft.All I can say is,if this is being " laid-back",imagine what "diligence" must be like.

All that Punjabi Mard bravado went out the window the moment Ishita cornered Raman.He looked like a deer caught in headlights.

I guess the unwritten rule of daily soaps is that the FIL must have at least one vamp SIL.Since Siimmi and Ishita became chaddi buddies last year,Rinky had to step up to the plate to become the nagin in the downtrodden FL's life.Why,CVs,why?She was so likeable.Another one bites the dust.

Blooper,blooper,blooper.Senior Bhalla mentioned that Toshiji would have a fit if she found out they were swilling Raman's prime stock of Scotch in her absence.So who exactly was doing a jig with Sallu Miya last night,all dolled up in yellow?

On a different note,if we thought Adi had criminal tendencies,we ought to watch the No. 1 show.They showed a 10 year old girl trying to poison,electrocute and burn Gopi Vau alive.All to avenge her mother's death.10 years old,people!Her portrayal of a cold-blooded,remorseless,calm and collected murderer was spine-chilling.And this is what is being lapped up by the TRP aunties.That is why YHM keeps meandering into crassness,despite showing flashes of brilliance from time to time.

After watching that broomstick spoiler video, I couldn't connect to the episode. Even though the episode was decent.

Congrats to YHM cast and crew. Specially the actors deserve all the accolades. No matter what how much crappy the storyline or the direction/editing was, all the regular actors were superb most of the times. Special mention for KP, DT and their brilliant chemistry. Hats off to them. 👏

Vyas,I must confess,I have been watching SNS of late,so I guess I must be one of those TRP aunties.I watch for the unintentional comedy and end up in giggles every time.

Someone should slap a lawsuit on the makers for butchering Gujarati culture.
I have many Gujarati friends and though the matriarch is well respected in their families,,I have yet to see anyone who remotely resembles Kokila Modi.

Her dialogues,language and antics resemble a mytho serial.Who speaks like that in real life?

And Ahemji has had slight changes to his dialogues after the leap.Instead of "Gopi,Mom se maafi mango",it is now "Meera, Mom aur Gopi se maafi mango."

Now that's what I call progress.

And they call our Raman "furniture" 😃 😊
