What's with this new angle to Mihir-Rinki story

You know, I said last week about how unfortunate it is that they are equating Ruhi's wish for a sibling with Ishita's wish for intimacy. They took it a step further now. I read an interview by Anju Mahendroo earlier today, and the line that caught my eye was the one where she said how sensitively the infertility issue has been handled on this show. I smirked when I read that, and now after reading the episode WU, I have a nauseated expression on my face

and to think that real women all over the world suffer due to this issue, and cannot get pregnant even after trying for years... the more fortunate ones have money to invest in advanced medicine, but the less fortunate ones leave it upto fate and perhaps look for options like adoption, surrogacy etc.

and we have YHM - showing a couple (very well educated, supposedly mature and reasonably well-off), who have the nerve to go to a doctor without even having tried once ? What are they hoping for? a miracle that bypasses the actual act that is needed?

and the less I say about Ruhi's interference and Ishita's indulgence of her daughter, the better. The ship has sailed on that

Ruhi's baby talk with Ishita, made me cringe. Its funny that she wants baby only cause of ruhi.

Double funny is them visiting the doctor before consumation. I think this doctor visit is to make her conceive after the first time, which normally would seem absurd.

Wonder why i still expect logic from this show.

I would really like for them to show Ishita's monologue once. Because very frankly, she appears like someone who doesnt really have an opinion about what she wants (either in terms of the baby or intimacy). She seems to react to Raman's advances or Ruhi's wishes, but no one really knows what she is going through. DOES she want to get intimate with Raman or not? DOES she really want to try for a baby or is she content with Adi and Ruhi? IS she afraid of what might happen if they try and she cannot conceive? and I think these questions should be dealt with separately, not together. That muddles the brain up.

In my opinion:

Everything else (like her insecurity and feeling of incompleteness, fear of rejection etc.) is being guessed or inferred or predicted by us, mostly because we were all subjected to real mature story-telling in the 11 PM timeslot. So I have a mild hangover of the earlier Ishita, and a more complex dynamic in my mind when we see them bringing up the subject of intimacy and children. I sometimes think the person in my is projecting on to the viewer in me 😛

If story is Yeh Hai Mohabbatein changed to "sirf ruhi ke liye" then it would be better

Writers wants to show everything by super woman doing everything sirf ruhi k liye then add one more please , KILL Furniture, make marry super woman to panauti so that at least poor super woman will be saved by monster tantrums and she will not do '"chhee" to panauti after all she used to offer him to smell flowers in her hairs

IKC ka kya he she will be carried away by lecture . adi toh dal badlu he.

At least actor playing furniture his talent will not be wasted anymore . furniture ke liye panauti is enough
