Good post Leo...
Ruhi acts older than her age, and in my opinion, many times, very inappropriate for someone older too. That's been established many times before, so honestly I am not too surprised.
They would like us to think that Ruhi wants a 'child' to play with (like any kid who's seeing their friend have a sibling would feel the need to have siblings). But Ruhi has a brother, and she has Ananya at home too. It does feel a bit strange that they haven't shown Ruhi bonding with Ananya at all. So the logic escapes me in this scenario.
The most unfortunate part is equating Ruhi's need for a sibling with Ishita's trigger for intimacy with a man who she loves and is legally married to. That is something I don't really see a justification for, and perhaps would never understand (even after keeping in mind the sensibilities of the TRP audience).
I would have liked to see Shagun reformed about a year ago. When Ashok 'rejected' her, I expected Shagun to change and come back into IshRa life. Not using her kids as a weapon, but actually trying to create problems between Ishita and Raman as she was once the love of Raman's life. But they went ahead and showed Shagun to be silly, stupid and a person beyond-redemption. Also, Ishita & Raman's relationship has moved on so much from that time. So Shagun reforming (and possibly creating a misunderstanding) NOW after so much has been said and done seems really forced and fake. A year ago, I may have even identified with Shagun as a woman who made a mistake 6 years ago, and genuinely wanted Raman back. But now it just seems silly, and maybe even false.
anyhoo... Happy Monday... I am craving me some cotton candy and/or pop-corn 😳
