Loved the lioness Mom protecting her cub avatar of Ishita in front of Jhakkar today. Yes, the kids did it wrong but he was being too intimidating and excessively harsh on them, especially on Adi and it always helps when a kid knows that his/her parents can be strict but will stand by them as and when needed. Clearly Jhakkar was overstepping his boundaries and Ishita rightfully put him in his place. You go JKR!

Today the conflict was a parenting style conflict and I'm glad they kept it very realistic. Adi's fear of Raman coming to know about his deeds, Ishita clearly underlining that though she stood up for him at Jhakkar's, it didn't absolve him from being reprimanded for doing the wrong thing and she'd not hide it from Raman to shield him. Raman , on the other hand, was again being too laid back. Yes at 12 kids can choose to do stuff like that but then again they also need to be guided ...even giving space has to have a reasonable boundary...too much leniency creates a more confusing environment for the kid and it is the responsibility of the parent to show them right from wrong ...as temptations will be there...how they react to them is dependent on the values imparted by the parents...and Adi especially needs proper guidance as he didn't have a normal childhood upbringing and had no sense of proper discipline under Shagun's care. Ishita was the right parent today and I liked how Toshiji stepped in and pointed that they both are on the same side...

Toshiji was bang on in this scene...it proves that even parents need guidance from the wisdom of their parents. I loved how she covered everything, her own parenting mistakes with Romi, Adi's distress, guilt and his insecurities because of all the conflicts that are happening because of him and uncertainty about what might come next. And loved how she pointed out the fact that over indulgence might lead to a child getting spoiled...they need to be reigned in by both the parents working as a team. Kudos to Toshiji and the CVs for almost getting it perfect. Excepting the protecting the chirag bit...Khair Chodo I can over look that when most things were right.
