Hi Mujna!! Hope I can call you Mujna...I am a silent reader who visits various forums in IF. I have read many awesome pieces of work in YHM forum but have never come across a story which shows Ishita's faults and wrong decisions. For me both Raman and Ishita are impulsive characters who either jump to conclusions without thinking practically like Ishita or says words in anger which hurt another person like Raman. But still from day one, my favourite character is Raman. Because unlike Ishita's character as an epitome of sacrifice, Raman to me is human who does mistakes, realizes it and rectifies it. But I have never seen Ishita apologising to Raman for running away with Ruhi. I will never forgive Ishita for that neither will I forgive her for lying to Raman when he fasted for her on Karva Chauth. Yes she did that to save her husband's honour but for me it's incorrigible that you lie to your hubby on a day when he has fasted for you. I will never forget the words spoken by her- I would have run away with you Mani if I was not married and had a daughter. Just imagine how it would have impacted Ruhi if she had heard it. It would have shattered her innocent heart. Her running away with Ruhi-others say it was impulsive because she was scared to loose her child. I would say it was decided impulsively but she acted on it with a cool head. Removing her sim card from mobile, feeding Ruhi all those lies about a game, not returning to Raman even after the accident-she could have endangered Ruhi's life also when she couldn't even walk properly. For me, Ishita always try to show that nobody loves Ruhi more than her. Love can't be measured - Raman loves both his children. He doesn't run away from his mistakes. By running away with Ruhi, Ishita showed that for her, her relationship with Raman is there as long as Ruhi is there. Husband-wife relationship cannot stand on a child. Yes, they married each other for Ruhi but Ishita has to stop undermining hers and Raman's relationship. I am glad in this part of the story, you brought a few truths home for Ishita. She needed this reality check.
Sorry for this long essay. You must be bored.
Will be waiting for the next part.
Love,
Anwesha
